Set right in the heart of the coastal village of Kambos, Hotel Albatros offers up a wonderfully quiet spot in which to relax and unwind. In among the well tended gardens you'll find a large swimming pool, complete with sunbeds and parasols. But don't get too comfortable just yet as the beach is just a minute's walk away. It makes the decision between sand and sunbed a very tricky one.

Should you fancy stretching your legs at any point, you're ideally placed to enjoy all the local flavour of Kambos. Relatively untouched by mass tourism it nevertheless offer a good range of amenties for all you holiday needs. If you'd rather get even further a field, you needn't venture too far to find the solitary tavernas and charming little bays that characterise this part of Greece.

Meanwhile, back at the Albatros, Manolis, the owner-operator has a passion for bee keeping. Don't be at all surprised to be offered samples of his honey for taste and, if you like it, purchase. It all contributes to a charming little slice of Greek life.
