And at the heart of it all, you’ll find a chic pool scene. There are two big lagoon-like numbers to choose from and both come with swim-up bars.

The accommodation is dotted around the pools – so you’re never far from the water. There are a selection of different sized apartments to choose from, and they all come dressed in fresh, light colour schemes. Factor in a kitchenette and a private balcony or terrace, and they make really comfy bases.

If you don’t fancy cooking, it’s worth noting the poolside restaurant, Elia, does a great line in modern Mediterranean cuisine and hot and cold breakfasts. If you prefer to eat out though, Pefkos is just a five-minute walk away. And the beach isn’t far either – it’s just a short downhill stroll to a golden sweep of sand, and a sprinkling of seafood restaurants.
