Pefki Islands Resort

This is a relaxed spot next to a sandy beach, with a pair of pools to recommend it.

Location-wise, things couldn’t be better. Steps lead down to a sandy beach, and the hub of Pefkos is 5 minutes’ walk away. In the same time, you can be at the local bus stop for trips to Lindos and Rhodes Town.

It’s all about the pools here. The hotel has 2 of its own, and with a pair of sister hotels as your neighbours, the count rises to 5. Between them they offer swim-up bars and a poolside restaurant that’s highly rated.

It's Nice ! but ..................

It's a nice place in a great location and the people were really friendly, we caught a late deal here and got the last of the hot weather it seems , what was disappointing was the fact that air conditioning is an extra cost at over 100 euros a week and in this day and age Wi Fi is an extra charge as well. As a self catering holiday the normal £1000 plus cost of a holiday here plus the extras seems excessive, you can definitely get better value for money. The town has a number of restaurants serving fairly similar styles of menu fairly priced for a holiday resort. It was nice !! But expensive for self catering.More

Last minute first time rhodes

I have rated this hotel a 5 because of the cleanliness, the staff, the restaurants, the atmosphere and the location. All the bar restaurants were brilliant, all the polls very clean, the Elia restaurant the food was beautiful particularly the kleftico . The location for whatever type of holiday you prefer chilling, restful, busy, historic, scenery, good food, beers, all reasonably priced and a great deal of choice on the main strip which was 10 mins walk away .. So many activities so close to hand car rental is very reasonable. Local transport to Linda's and Rhodes is very cheap however does run on GMT time (Greece maybe time) approx 20 mins late. Li dos and old Rhodes is a much see with a lot of walking but fantastic tavernas. I could go on for a lot longer best holiday we have had no complaints what so ever except day flights would be preferred from doncaster airport for return . Highly recommend .More

Better than expected, good time was had by all-wedding party

pefki island is part of island blue and lindia complex and as such you can use all amenities in all 3 complex's. we were part of a group of 45 as my niece was getting married (perfect for weddings) although it was a big group the complex is big enough to not be in each others pockets. so lets get to what you really need to know.. .ACCOMMODATION..we had a studio and was surprised by the amount of space there was. the bed was almost a super king size, very comfy. theres a tv in the room along with wardrobe with plenty of hangers. we were on the ground floor with a balcony overlooking the pool (request higher room if possible or you will be opening your doors/curtains to people looking in your room everyday). theres a little kitchen area but it does have a kettle, crockery, fridge, pans, toaster and sandwich toaster and a 2 ring cooker etc You do need to take dishcloth, teatowel washing up liquid. In the bathroom is a shower only (no bath) hairdryer and clean towels. CLEANING...the maid was in everyday with clean towels, makes the bed and has a quick clean round. ON SITE...theres a cheap supermarket that stocks everything .we used to buy 2 rolls 50cents and they sell a pack of ham and cheese together for 2euros and occasionally have this for lunch to save money. they sell packs of 6 large bottled water for 2 euros too. there croissants and doughnuts are huge and the fruit is really cheap (under a euro) and has loads of flavour. there are numerous swimming pools which were absolutely freezing (sea is warmer) entertainment in the evening on site in October is pretty much non existent. THE minutes away and is beautiful, the water is so clear you can see fish swimming around. sun beds are 4euros each for the whole day. PLACES TO EAT...for a truly romantic meal go to the PHILOSOPHIA RESTAURANT on site, not only do you get a sunset to die for the food and service are amazing. ELIA RESTAURANT on site a little more expensive but excellent food and service. OFF SITE...GREEN OLIVES come out of back entrance onto main road (actually called main rd) turn 1st left onto beach rd, they do a platter where you can choose 5 different starters, excellent customer service. 3 PIGS RESTAURANT on main rd approx. 30euros for 2course meal and 2 drinks. very nice. At the end of the beach you will find FLYERS good coffee and cooked breakfast. OUT & ABOUT...the buses are never on time but they are cheap. return to Rhodes is 11euros each. car hire approx. 45euros a day, bicycle hire 10 euros a day, quad bike hire 50euros a day. LINDOS/ACROPOLIS..6euro entry, get a donkey 5euros, taxi home 8 euros. wear sensible footwear as streets are shiny pebbles and are slippery. also at lindos there is the ICE-BAR expensive to get in and is kept at -6 degrees, have a greek salad and gyros there as the portions are huge so you can share. GLASS BOTTOM a must..the captain is hilarious, visit 3 bays for 20euros.leaves at 1pm everyday and gets booked up quickly, book independently its cheaper. RANDOM... turn left off main rd onto beach rd walk down to the bottom and go into supermarket opposite ABC supermarket and order a freshly prepared greek salad baguette, there very yummy. if you cant decide which place to stay in out of lindia, island blue and pefki...choose island blue its worth paying that little bit extra.More

Back again after several years - still fantastic

Not going to write very much this time, because I've reviewed Pefki Islands several times before. Just wanted to say it is is still fantastic, even 8 years after we first visited. This was our 3rd visit and the complex is well looked after and the staff as good as ever. Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff, particularly as we renewed our wedding vows, which made it extra special. We'll be back in a few years time no doubt. Lovely hotel

Really lovely family hotel. It is in a fantastic location. The cleaning was excellent, and the pool area spot on. The hotel restaurant was good, so food worth buying on premises. Bed's were very firm, but we slept fine. Rooms were a tad on the small side, and there was no table so all the food you made you had to eat on the balcony, which was ok as it was hot. I was annoyed at how expensive the air con is - around 70 euros. I would advise buying it day by day, as we paid for the week and didn't actually use it every day. I think that it is standard practice to charge for air con in Rhodes though. We paid around £700 each for the holiday, which was expensive for self catering, but if you booked last minute you could probably get a much better deal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel - it ticks all the boxes and has a lovely, safe, family atmosphere.More
