This is a relaxed spot next to a sandy beach, with a pair of pools to recommend it.
Location-wise, things couldn’t be better. Steps lead down to a sandy beach, and the hub of Pefkos is 5 minutes’ walk away. In the same time, you can be at the local bus stop for trips to Lindos and Rhodes Town.
It’s all about the pools here. The hotel has two of its own, and with a pair of sister hotels as your neighbours, the count rises to five. Between them they offer swim-up bars and a poolside restaurant that’s highly rated.
This hotel is part of our 3T favourites range until April 2017.
These 2 bedroom apartments come with a double bed, two single beds and a balcony for that extra space outdoors, and air-conditioning*. There's a kitchenette with two electric rings, a fridge, kettle, toaster, iron and board.
Came early May for our 5th visit so we knew what great accommodation to expect but this time we brought our 20 year old son so booked a 2 bed apartment. I feel I have to mention that since last year they have covered in the railings on these rooms obviously for health and safety reasons but for an adult family it completely ruined it for us. Sitting on the balcony early evening with a glass of wine was a pleasure before but we cudnt do it this year , it was like being in a cage. Every other aspect of this hotel group is amazing but I wish we had known before we booked as I would of booked a studio.More
Excellent self catering apartment
Apartment was large, nicely decorated, massive 6ft bed, big safe. Bathroom had a shower (no bath) but ideal. The resort is part of a large complex and you can use all of the five pools. The beach isn't far from the hotel, down steps. Shoreline narrow - only enough depth for one line of parasols in places.More
Yet again just had a fab week at the Pefki Island Resort. The resort is spotless and there is a great deal of care spent on keeping the grounds well maintained. Plenty of loungers available and a choice of 5 pools, 2 at Pefki Island, 2 at Island Blue and 1 at Lindia Thalassa. Our favourite being the adults only pool at Island Blue. Room sizes vary at Pefki Island, Blocks A-E are the older blocks and are smaller than the other rooms in blocks F-I. Towels are available for room use, but bring your own pool/beach towels. There are pool bars where snacks and drinks can be bought throughout the day. The Alia Restaurant is very good and for â¬6.50 a full self service all you can eat breakfast is excellent value. The only downside is the noise from the evening entertainment on Monday/Tuesday,it's fine if you want to be up late and listen to the varied entertainment offered, but if you want to go to bed you will have to wait till after midnight for the noise to subside. Overall a lovely place to stay.More
We stayed there for a week. Self catering equipment was good, fridge, freezer and mostly heir dryer :) you also get iron and safe which you have to pay for. We get top flor apartment with a pool view and sea view. I would recommend this room (201), in the morning you can have a nice breakfast on the balcony and in the evening you can enjoy nice sunset. Also in this room you will get free internet access :) ( works better on the balcony) Music is not too loud so if your balcony is closed you can hardly hear anything, room service is great but if you are planning cooking don't forget to buy watching up liquid as it is not provided. Also we have stayed on the beginning of the season and there was no many other customers and water in the shower was very hot, however in a few days later with more people being in the hotel I find out that it was difficult to get hot shower. So be quick. Secondly, the down side is also additional cost for the air conditioning (â¬10 per day) it wasn't that hot in the evening but mosquitos were everywhere and without cool air we wouldn't survived the night. Staff is very helpful, super market seems to be expensive but we have checked all other in pefkos and the prices are the same. We rented a car and drove to a bigger shopping centre to get food, water and all other equipment. Another bad point is the sun beds on the beach, I was sure as a hotel guest you will get them for free but you have to pay â¬8 per day. Also because we arrived on the first week of the season there was no enterteiment in the evenings but that was due to the small number of customers.More
Beginning of May Break
Chose this resort for the location. I knew Pefkos would be quiet but thought it would be more Greek. We found that on the whole the restaurants catered to anything but. It was also to early in the season so some restaurants still closed. Hotel rooms were big, nicely decorated, massive 6ft bed, big safe, nice bathroom. We needed the blankets at night as we were cold. Lindos only 7 mins by taxi cost 9 euros from village so spent a lot of time there. Wanted to hear foreign voices on a foreign holiday.More
