Un personall not true Greek

Clean, spacious apartments. Clean areas. Wouldn't know who our rep was as not seen. Receptionist led us on a expensive day as didn't know the area and what we wanted. Later found out it was free. No Greek night, as was cancelled. Impersonal complex especially for Greece. Will not return, though may suit others.More

Everything you need, if you want a quiet holiday.

Room was well kept and cleaned daily with a friendly housekeeper. The resort was a 2 minute walk from the secluded beach but a 10 minute walk from the main bars and restaurants, with not much scenery en route meaning it was a bit of a pain in the backside when walking to the main street. Pool was very clean and many inflatable toys available having been left by guests. However due to the heat, air conditioning is essential and after enquiring we had to pay €120 for 1 week in a 2 bedroom apartment!!! This seemed very overpriced considering other places we have stayed in Greece have had either free air con or a reasonable price. Overall very good experience but may choose another place to stay if I were to return.More

friendly welcoming hotel

first time ever in pefkos but certainly wont be the last we had a wonderful holiday made more special by the welcome that all the staff give to you. Firstly we will start with reception- efficient checkin and reception staff are helpful and polite, the pool bar has a lovely atmosphere and some nights there was entertainment, barstaff were always friendly and polite, there is a good selection of drinks and icecreams, the area is kept clean and tidy, the pool is a generous size and there are plenty of sunbeds with parasols, food is served in a small area at back of bar till 4pm it was reasonably priced and good quality. The small supermarket within the hotel is well stocked with a good selection of food toilettries and gifts. The room we had was the two bedroom which was spacious however the stone furniture was quaint if somewhat unusual, however, made good use of space, the kitchen had two cooking rings a fridge with ice box a kettle ,toaster and a george foreman type grill. there is also a hairdryer iron and ironing board, The bathroom is ample with a decent shower cubicle, towels are changed regularly as are the beds but note it doesnt happen every day so hang the towels to dry, the only problem we had was that the beds were quite firm and we prefer a softer mattress. They have a restaurant linked to hotel complex a short walk away which is very good. \this hotel is lovely but may cause problems for those with mobilty issues as there are steps to the beach or the long way round which is still walking uphill on the way back. We loved this place and lots of people we spoke to were return guests we would not hesitate to go back which is just as well as our daughter is getting married from there EXCELLENT for a self catering holiday dont forget to budget for air conditioningMore

Ticks all the boxes but..............

Lindia thalassa resort is immaculate, the apartments are spotless well stocked and cleaned every day, the pool is clean and the location is perfect 5 mins from beach and 10 mins from main resort block a is the best as you are far away from the pool bar and has some fantastic sea views, however no free wi fi, 120 euros for a week for two air con units in our two bed apartment and 25 euros for the safe are the three things that stopped us spending our well earned holiday pennies in the bar and resteraunt on principle. we don't budget but I felt this was a bit much to pay, maybe we've been lucky in the past with our choices but we have never had to pay that much and most places we have stayed have had free wifi, yes I probably should have researched a bit more about the apartments. I'm not saying don't choose these apartments but just bear in mind the extra costs.More
