Both my wife and myself went to Rhodes to attend our daughters wedding we booked for 10 days from 12/ 09 to 23/09/ 2015 we stayed at Lindia Thalassa, on half board basis first problem we found was that the Resteraunt was not on site but a 10 minute walk away we only at ate there twice, the second problem we found was the amount of wild cats that were on the grounds my wife has a great fear of cats and was terrifIed, it got so bad for my wife that she refused to leave our room there by she became a prisoner in our room 321D, I decided to go and speak to the Thomson rep IICIT about a early flight home on 19/09, he was not interested in my problem in the least his reply was I will eMail the office and let you know, HE never answered my query personally he left a message 2 days Later with my daughter, I spoke to him again on Sat 19/09 regarding my options for flying home early, his reply was there is no options, I then paid 550 euros to book a flight on easyjet on 19/09 my daughter was on thompsons flight home on Sat 19/09 and informed me that there were two empty seats on her flight , Thomsons customer service was non existent and the rep IICIT was not interested in our problem his attitude was ( I can not be bothered with you) we have flown with Thomsons before over the years and never experienced a problem Before, all the staff receptionist, shop and around the pool at the Lindia Thalassa were excellentMore

We were in Pefkos earlier in the year and when the bus was collecting people for the airport it stopped at Lindia Thalassa. One of the couples that embarked sat behind us so I asked them what the accommodation was like. Excellent they said and they were not wrong. We went mid October and found the apartment spotlessly clean. We had a large bedroom with a double bed and a small one with two singles. Kitchen, between the two bedrooms, was small but adequate as we only ever had breakfast there on the balcony. The balconies are small but quite private as the complex is built like a staircase on its side so you can't see the balconies either side of you. Towels were changed at least every two days and occasionally every day. Walk in shower but no bath for you ladies who like a soak ! Our room had no dining area but who wants to eat inside when you can sit in the sun on the balcony ? It's 200mtrs downhill to a quiet beach (but obviously uphill coming back) A 20 minute walk puts you in the centre of Pefkos which is really one long strip with approximately 20 restaurants and some more down the side streets. It would be hard to find bad food though Artemis,Hellas and the Red Dragon Chinese were excellent. During the day go to Lee Beach bar. Food is good and not expensive with a magnificent view of the Aegean Sea ... Oh and the lovely Yvette and Emma tending to your needs. Try the boat trip up the coast. Well worth the money with a few surprises and a chance to swim off the boat in magnificent clear waters. Pefkos starts to close down towards the end of October so if you go after then there will be tumbleweed rolling down the streets. It's an hour transfer on the bus but that soon passes. Overall we love Pefkos. Just enough going off without being too busy. we would certainly stay at Lindia Thalassa again. Loved it.More

Room with a view
I booked this holiday last minute and paid a bit extra for a room with a sea view, I was not disappointed! Arriving late at night in the dark we opened the balcony door to be greeted with the sound of the sea lapping on the sand. Opening the curtain the following morning we had the most amazing view of the sea.
The room was very spacious with a double bed and a single bed. The kitchen was very well equipped with top branded equipment including a grill machine, toaster and kettle. We also had a full sized ironing board and an iron.
Everything was kept spotlessly clean by the maid with frequent towel and linen changes.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The supermarket was well stocked and prices were reasonable.
Our favourite Taverna was Hellas which had an amazing fish meze starter. We also visited Nickolas Taverna, Philosophia and the Elia restaurant. All of which were very nice and didn't serve chips with the meal instead nice home grown vegetables which was a pleasant surprise!
In the day time Lee Beach and Flyers both served up very tasty (and cheap) lunch time menu's. As it was the end of the season some of the Taverna's had already closed for winter.
On the whole Pefkos is a lovely little resort with plenty of shops and Taverna's. It is within easy reach of pretty Lindos, 8 euro's in a taxi or 1.60 euro each on the bus. The sandy beach was very nice with crystal clear shallow water.More

pleasant october stay
Stayed at the Lindia Thalassa at the beginning of October and can only agree with all the favourable reviews. Firstly facility wise we had a large spotlessly clean room which was cleaned regularly by the very friendly staff and that had a kettle, toaster and sandwich maker. There's a spacious pool area and pleasant bar with a handy supermarket for drinks and bits and pieces for the room although in peak season I would imagine this would be very busy. Location wise short walk to the main road (and a slightly longer stagger back!) and the beach is accessed directly from the hotel.
I would say that this is an ideal hotel for families with kids as everything is to hand but in peak season probably a bit too busy for couples looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Having said that though there is an abundance of excellent bars with pools in Pefkos and you're only a short walk from the Anixis and its lovely pool and tavernaMore
