11 Day Break

Stayed in the LTR for a 11 day break in June. The place is spotless and all the staff are first rate. Pefkos is not a large resort but is all the better for it. We would definitely come to this hotel again. The only thing wrong with the LTR is the fact that you have to pay for AC in the room. I have never had to pay for AC anywhere before and I think the LTR would be a better hotel if this was included.More

Keith T,

Another excellent holiday

Fantastic holiday again at Lindia Thalassa. Stayed here previously and at sister Hotel Pefki Island. Always have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday thanks to the excellent accommodation and staff. Thanks to Maria for allocating us a studio in block A with a wonderful sea view and easy access to the beach, to the maid who cleaned our room every day and to all the staff who work so hard and always have a smile for you. Pool area is an enjoyable place to spend the day, where Stavros works hard and nothing is too much trouble. Good choice of food at breakfast and many good quality restaurants to choose from in Pefkos. All in all the perfect place to recharge your batteries and we look forward to returning again soon.More

Still Our Favourite Place

This was our 3rd stay at Lindia Thalassa and we loved it just as much as our 1st and 2nd! Actually, as we were here for 2 weeks this time, I'd say we loved it more! The service across the board is spot on. Reception staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you are happy. Bar staff are also very good, Stavros and Lukas (the barmen) are just great. Our room was immaculate, view was lovely as we were up in A block with a view of the sea. That was thanks to Maria on reception who kindly allocated us a sea view room after we emailed her 6 weeks ahead of our stay. Thank you Maria. The rooms need updating, the kitchen facilities in particular are very basic and if they were just smartened up a bit, it would really make a difference. Also, we noticed holes in our sheets on most days, they were clean sheets so that's the main thing, but holes should be addressed. Pefkos itself is also lovely (and lively). So many restaurants and bars to choose from. Peperoncino is our fave, so I'd recommend a visit there. The food at Lindia Thalassa is also good. We were a little disappointed with the one evening meal we had at Elia as our main was so salty it was almost inedible, that said, we've eaten at Elia many times and always enjoyed the food and appreciated the service. The cocktails at Elia are particularly good, pre-dinner visit is a must, as the staff will call you a taxi in to pefkos, lindos, Lardos, wherever you fancy, Lindia Thalassa is our favourite destination for holiday, because we know and love the place and the people and we now feel like the people and the place know us too, with staff recognising us all over the place. It's a great feeling and just makes us enjoy the place more each time we visit. We will return next year without a doubt. More

Ria M,

Amazing family holiday/wedding/honeymoon!!

I cannot put into words how fantastic our stay was at the Lindia Thalassa. Myself, my wife and 2 children aged 3 and 9 stayed for 2 weeks with our Wedding slap bang in the middle. We did not get married at the hotel (at St.Pauls bay), however the hotel could not do enough to ensure we had the perfect day! From arranging transport for guest to special touches in our room when we arrived back from the wedding (An example of which can be seen in the pic). A tip for any brides to be is the use of the on sight salon and spa Zen. My wife arranged for the hair to be done for the bridesmaids €35 each, the mother and mother in law around €15 each all of which were extremely happy with the results. The staff were extremely professional in every way and so friendly, typical of all the locals. The pool was ideal for the kids who loved spending every minute in there. The pool bar staff were great and loved the kods. The food at the Elia restaurant was exceptional along with the staff who again could not get enough of the kids (free ice cream on occasions). The room we had was a ground floor Apartment in Block A with an amazing sea view (see pic). The room was big and spacious and the maids did a fantastic job daily tidying the rooms etc. Close to our apartment was the steps leading down to the sandy beach, which was very convenient as this was a quicker and more scenic route to the centre of Pefkos. A special thank you to Maria the Head receptionist who kindly went out of her way after her shift to pick up my wife's veil which was left at the Wedding reception in Lindos. We will definitely be returning to Lindia Thalassa in the near future and will be recommending to all friends and family.More

Craig G,

Happy to recommend

Stayed 1st 2 weeks of June , I chose this hotel purely on reviews my only slight moan is that I found the beds to be hard one or two other reviews agree other than that it's a lovely hotel to stay at , I would recommend B and B the food is very good with a good selection of choices , you do have to walk up to the Elisia restaurant for meals but it's only 2 blocks away.Several restaurants have been recommended they are good but also top prices so here are my alternatives that are equally as good , but cheaper and good for families, the Sunset Tavern next door does a very good range of meals from crepes and snacks in the day time to a good range of meals in the evening including a couple of cheaper but very good specials , if you just want a gyro or kebab Alexandra's on the road down to the beach be aware if you order a plate meal be hungry they are delicious but massive but you can have just a gyro or a burger etc further down the road there is an excellent bar/ restaurant that serves food all day The OASIS POOL BAR which as the name suggests has a free pool they serve all day breakfasts and light meals across from here is the PEOPLES BAR which also serve light meals , On the top road there is Jasmines and directly across the Caprice both do snacks all day , I didn't try any of the 3 course deals from various restaurants co unable to comment on them hope this helps anyone coming here P.s don't let the mention of steps to the beach put you of yes there are I think it's 63 but over half of them are widely spaced on a not to bad slope it's the bottom that's steeper but there are hand rails and I'm 65 ok may have been a bit out of breadth but it was 104 degrees at the time , there are ample sunbeds at the hotel but during our 2 nod week the selfish crowd arrived who left towels but didn't appear until the afternoon but I always found room So don't have any worries about the hotel it's as good as the other reports say and I gladly recommend itMore
