Beautiful Location, Very good range of food. Perfect for a relaxing break
A very fine hotel for the price. Could not fault it & would like to return. Perfect for a quiet peaceful break to soak up the sunshine and take it easy. Not much activity in surrounding locality. Bus to town 20-30mins.More
Best place to stay in Lindos
We stayed in the Lindos Mare hotel for a week in July and had a very relaxing holiday. The views from the hotel are fabulous but the one thing that truly makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They were all so friendly and even though we were only staying for a week they all made us feel very special. There was never a queue for meals in the restaurant and we always managed to get a table outside overlooking the sea. The food is very good quality and so much better than a lot of package holiday hotel buffets. Lindos is a five minute taxi journey away and is great for a evening meal out. The hotel is on a hillside so there are lots of steps! We didn't ever have a fight for a sun lounger by the pool or on the beach.More
Amazing wedding venue
Fabulous hotel, all staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel very clean, rooms very spacious, food was amazing, variety every night, cannot fault this hotel at all, only very minor thing is we visited mid September and there wasn't anything really for children. Adult orientated. We had our wedding at the hotel and they organised everything for us. Well worth the money. Very happy customers.More
Everything about our stay was excellent - I was very impressed with the staff and facilities. The service is excellent. I didn't really believe all of the reviews that said how many people return to the hotel year after year, but we seemed to be pretty much the only couple there who were visiting for the first time! Everyone we spoke with had returned every year for at least the last five, and I can absolutely understand why. Efe is an absolute star! The hotel was perfectly clean in all aspects, and very well maintained. The room was exactly as it was represented in the advertising, and I absolutely loved the window in the bathroom that looks into the bedroom and gets the benefit of the sea view! The pools are beautiful (bigger than they look on the photos) and the private beach is well served, too. The sunbeds were in high demand, but we never had a problem getting one at our preferred location. The snorkeling is great in the bay, too. The variety of food at the buffet breakfast is great, as is the evening meal, but we chose to eat in the town most evenings to experience Lindos itself. The staff at breakfast and dinner can't do enough to help, and they're extremely accommodating. I have to say that I'm not the sort of person that goes back to the same place again and again, but if we were looking for a guaranteed good experience and just wanted sun and sea, we'd without a doubt return to Lindos Mare. It would be perfect if it was closer to the town itself but the taxis are cheap (for those who are wondering if you could walk from the hotel to the old town, the answer is yet, BUT along a really busy road without a path (but you can walk behind the crash barrier) and you definitely shouldn't attempt it in the dark!More
THE place to unwind!
We stayed at Lindos Mare in September 2016 and although we normally prefer somewhere more central, having read excellent reviews (especially relating to the wonderful quality of food), decided to book. So glad we did. Super weather, fab food, lovely pool and grounds and such nice staff. This is a good example of how a hotel should be run. Training is obviously taken very seriously. I've visited many hotels whose staff would benefit front a stint at Lindos Mare to learn how it's done!!! No wonder so many people return year after year. It makes it very difficult to find anywhere else which compares. We'll be back.More
