5* piece of paradise!

WOW! Where do I actually begin! This hotel is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G in all senses of the word! The hotel itself is absolutely stunning to look at, all areas are exceptionally clean and are really well looked after! The pool is clean and has several different dimensions, making it enjoyable for all! The views are probably one of the highlights, nothing better than eating breakfast, lunch or dinner and looking out to the ocean! PERFECTION! The room was again very well kept, cleaned daily and effeciently, air con worked brilliantly and balconies had great views even if it wasn't necessarily a sea view! Food - WOW! I don't know how anyone could question the variety of food at this hotel. It caters to all, whether it be fresh fish, meat, greek dishes, salads or desserts, there is no way you could not find something to eat. Food was always HOT and fresh with chefs constantly keeping supplies coming! And finally one of the highlights of this hotel has to be the staff. They seriously cannot do more for you and make you feel as if you are royalty! A special mention has to go Viron, possibly the best waiter in the world, or as he says SPOT ON! The service he gave was second to none and really made our holiday that extra bit special! This hotel is lucky to have you! We will definitely be returning and thank you Atlantica for such a memorable holiday!More

Beautiful hotel caters for your every need

We were a large party of six but never felt like we were a group too large or were over-crowding other people. The layout of this hotel is expansive but still manages to maintain an intimate, personal feel. Lovely spaces to sit and and sunbathe, stunning vistas from the rooftop bars, and delightful huts and beds on the beach front where you can be shaded and enjoy the soft sea breeze. The staff are what make this hotel extra special - every member of staff is polite and engaging, and the hotel manager goes out of his way to make your personal acquaintance and make you feel at home. Our waiters, Alixsandros and Maria, anticipated our every need and Alix was always there with a joke and a smile! His presence made our meals even more enjoyable and we were so pleased he was part of our experience. this holiday has been the height of luxury, but also so friendly and family-like. A perfect holiday for us! Can't wait to return.More

Very nice hotel in Kolymbia

We had very high expectations when arriving and had some minor disappointments when staying. We arrived late and there was only one receptionist, so check in took some time. No welcome drinks, no towels, just waiting in the line. We had swim up room in the second row from the sea. Room itself was nice, spacious and very clean but a bit dated. There is no view in these swim up rooms, only beach front rooms have in the old side of the hotel. Bed was surprisingly comfort and we managed with the pillow too. There were complementary red wine, fruits, cakes and sandwiches in the room when arriving. And there was an ant pathway too. They didn't bother us or our foods, just passing the room all week. Key card slot in the wall was broken. Swim up was lovely, straight sun until afternoon so stayed in the main pool area until it since it was very hot. After about 2 pm sun was still shining to the pool but not to terrace. Terraces were not very private since there is a walking path next to pool with lots on guest passing by. Main pool area was nice but very crowded, you had to book a sun lounge with your towel before 8 am or were left out. Policy said no but nobody cared about this. Hotel was fully booked this time of the year though. Sea was lovely, not too cold at all and very clear water. Remember to take your swimming shoes or buy them from hotel since it is really hard to get to sea without. We were half board and it was great. Restaurant was wonderful with lots of variety. Gluten free options were marked partially but i couldn't trust this e.g. potatoes were marked containing wheat? Still got plenty to eat but gluten free desserts were only fruits, no gluten free cakes etc. One time we were charged of wine we didn't get in the restaurant, waiter forgot to bring our wine. You don't expect this to happen in 5 star hotel but, it was very very crowded. Had to wait in line to get seated and to get some of the foods too. I got sick in the second day and spent over a day in bathroom. Not very pleasant but I suspect i got it from the plane since there had been virus going on. Mum got sick right after we arrived home. We also asked for late check out and would have changed the room to get it but didn't. So we booked to go to shower instead the last day. Arrived at the given time to reception to have key just to hear that this can't be arranged either. So we were asked to go to the gym to shower and change. And that we did. The new side of the hotel looked absolutely fantastic. Kolymbia itself hadn't anything to see or any shopping possibilities but you can rent a car or book excursions. Hotel shop had a nice variety of things you might need of forgot home. All in all, we had a lovely stay and might came back someday.More

Fabulous Hotel

Visited this hotel early June and had the most wonderful stay. We had previously stayed at the other Atlantica hotel in Kolimbia and had looked around and knew we wanted to definitely come to this hotel. Upon arrival we were met with Sparkling Wine which was a nice touch whilst we were checking in. We had a Superior Sea View room which was fabulous. Four poster bed, very comfortable. Fridge filled daily etc etc. Food was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal that we had at the hotel. We were all inclusive and we thought that the drinks were excellent. Entertainment was very good during the evening. Also during the day the entertainment staff were a really nice team. At breakfast you pick up a leaflet which gives you all the info you need about entertainment that day. The staff are exceptional and each and everyone of them makes your holiday very very special. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked to return in October this year. Thank you Atlantica Imperial. Special mention to the fabulous bar staff, Christos, Ivan and George.More

our favourite hotel

We have just returned from another wonderful holiday in this magnificent hotel. This was our 13 year and we will definitely return. The sooner the better. We were in the top floor superior sea-view room overlooking the pool. It was cleaned daily and bedding changed regularly. The whole restaurant area has had a massive upgrade and is beautifully laid out. Very modern. The only downside was some evenings you had to queue and the food was sometimes cold. There was plenty to choose from and a huge dessert menu. All the restaurant staff are amazing especially Viron, Alex, Thanassis and Stefanos. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the team and you were always shown to a table. We had 2 A La Cartes while we were there. The Ginger Cuisine and Sky Bar across the road. They were both absolutely gorgeous and all the staff were amazing with the service we received. The Pool bar staff are superb and you never have to wait for a drink. You even get waited on whilst on your sunbeds. Antonis, Christos, Nikos and Paris are brilliant. The entertainment team are very good and work so hard. We shared games and had a good laugh with all of them while playing French Boulles. Evening entertainment was great with El Divo, Jersey tones and Jordan who has a great singing voice. The resident duo Sally and Graham were excellent and the Pajanga boiz(not sure of the spelling) were by the pool on Fridays at lunchtime. Superb!! The Gala night every Tuesday is still very good when Christos ,the manager introduces all his staff and is so proud of them. The firework display is wonderful as were the glasses of bubbly given out by staff. Valencia (guest relations manager) was nice and very helpful. She always had a smile on her face. We can't wait to come back again to this amazing hotel..More
