Our lady was always perfect! reception was not so bad, all required information always was happy to provide, if something braking in a room, everything being repaired straight away, room service do not charge if you required ic or any other things to your room, they just bring stuff for free with a big smile on their face. I just couldnt not tip staff for their welcomness. +Brekfast just amazing so many stuff to eat, everything fresh. - If you not all inclusive dont forget to pay for a water 2.90 euros for smal battle of water even that its very hot noone will provide you a water for free during evening. Amazing holiday, great cocktail menu.. just have to go back!!!
Booked in March 2016 for May 2016, got a great upgrade (red carpet) opted to take it as it wasn't much extra. Wow, what we got in the upgrade just blew us away. We arrived at the hotel and could see a separate greeting station for guests that had done the upgrade but no one else queued there so we went with the flow and queued with everyone else, on reaching the desk they quickly went into special guest mode and whisked our luggage over to the Imperial Residences. We were greeted like royalty and taken to our suite, we were absolutely in awe, we waited in the room for a short while in case someone knocked to say there had been a mistake and we were in the wrong room. The duplux suite, with upstairs bedroom with a panoramic window to look out to see was beautiful. We made good use of the Sky Bar, George makes the most amazing cocktails, and I drank way too many Amaretto Sours. We were so relaxed at the hotel we found half an hour every day to use the gym. We cant wait to return this year but prices for the same week are extortionate so will hold out and do last minute if needs be. We dined at the main restaurant on an evening and thoroughly enjoyed the food selection available. Were not ones for the al a carte restaurants. There is no downside at all to this hotel. I have never experienced airport chaos like I have at Rhodes Airport and its the one part of holidaying on this lovely island that I dread. No-one likes to go home but someone seriously needs to sort out and organise the system at the airport.More
Second visit in a Year
This was our second visit to this amazing place. Cannot praise the Management and Staff enough for our wonderful holiday. Had a swim up room near to the Greek Restaurant which was amazing. Food and drink are first class. Looking forward to visiting again in 2017. Thank you to everyone at this hotel for making our holidays wonderful.More
Lovely hotel that comes with a few niggles
We stayed at the Atlantica Imperial in August 2016 and were very impressed with the hotel overall. Everything about the hotel appears absolutely glorious and the surroundings are extremely impressive. I liked the lagoon style pool and the many beautiful surrounding gardens. The room was a spectacle too - everything you could want and more - and just in a standard room. We had a beautiful sea view from our standard double. Who needs a swim up?! We were our most of the day anyway. I can't fault the hotel itself. However, it's rules and staff I can. One evening, I bought a bottle of local rose wine from one of the local shops. I put this in the fridge but because the wire in the fridge door which secured bottles was loose, it came tumbling out when I next opened the fridge door. It smashed on the floor. A complete accident and not entirely my fault due to the wire being loose and coming off all the time. We rang reception straight away but it was about 11.30pm. They did send someone to sweep up the broken glass but they did not bring a mop. I'd have cleaned up my mess myself but I needed a mop to do this. Apparently there was no mop available as house keeping was closed. What about any spillages at the bar? This meant we had to have a dangerous and smelly puddle in the room for the rest of the night and most of the morning until house keeping came. Not very 5 star? The floor was then stained because of the amount of time that the rose had been allowed to seep in. I was also dissatisfied with the dress code policy of an evening. Men are required to wear trousers for dinner and women are supposed to wear knee length dresses. This was fine - we lacked prior to our holiday with this in mind. However, while the policy for men wearing long trousers for dinner is enforced, it seems that the policy for women wearing knee length dresses is not. Every single night we saw women coming into dinner with bum cheek-skimming clothing. I thought this was totally unfair and discriminatory. One rule for one and not another. Why is it ok for women and not for men? This agitated me many an evening. Food was good but a bit lacking for vegetarians and non fish eaters. I'm veggie myself and found many nights to concentrate mainly on fish. Some nights I had potatoes and salad for dinner.... not very exciting and not what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel. The food that was available was of a very high quality though. Entertainment was dire but then, we don't go abroad to sit like robots in front of the hotel entertainment. Especially not when it was the ever popular 'Sally and Graham' and another regular singer whose name escapes me. They were boring and unimaginative. Please venture out to both the local area and surrounding areas. On another night it was an Abba tribute. Yawn yawn yawn. The Greek dancing night was good though - I'd have appreciated more 'greek' entertainment since I had booked a holiday to Rhodes and not Butlins in the U.K. The management gala dinner was also boring. The 'special' food on offer was again mainly fish, which neither of us eat, and then a huge spiel from the manager about how great his hotel and staff are. Followed by a few impressive fireworks. Cocktails are mediocre and very expensive at 10⬠each. You're better off visiting the local cocktail bars and getting much better cocktails at half the price. Try T&P cocktail bar down on the Kolymbia strip :) Overall a good holiday but we were underwhelmed by certain aspects. This hotel was no better when compared to other Greek hotels that we have stayed in that were rated as 4 star and cheaper. However, the Atlantica Imperial was the best that we saw in the local area and proved to be an ideal base for exploring the rest of the island. More
Firstly if you have any reservations about this hotel don't, it is fabulous. Relaxing, calm and beautiful surroundings. Staff are lovely can't do enough for you. Restaurant can get rather busy and sometimes have a school canteen feel to it, but we were lucky enough to get a seat outside most evenings. Wish we done the red carpet option but we know for next time. Spa is fabulous had a lovely massage so relaxing. The only down fall to this holiday was the airport its a shambles if you can get the VIP passes for the airport don't hesitate it will save you queuing for hours on end. More
