If you prefer the comfort of the hotel pool to the bustle of a beach, the Aegean Blue is perfect - its pool comes with its very own beach. And that’s not all. This curvy turquoise number winds its way under little wooden bridges, past mini waterfalls and even has a whirlpool bath and water jets, too.
There’s quite a lot on offer away from the pool, too. As well as favourites like beach volleyball and mini football, there are some nice extras here, too. Explorers can get out and about on mountain bikes, pedalos and canoes.
As for the hotel itself, it’s made up of low-level sandy-coloured buildings set in a horseshoe. Inside, contemporary bedrooms are decorated in vanilla tones. And if you’ve got the kids in tow, family rooms come with the option of sliding doors, giving you a little bit of privacy.
Food-wise, this place is all about buffets. There’s plenty of choice at breakfast – waffles, pancakes and omelettes – as well as themed evening meals where you can enjoy pan-global dishes. And if you can’t get through a day without snacks, don’t worry, afternoon tea and teatime snacks are served in the lobby bar.

All rooms have air-conditioning 1 Jun-30 Sep, satellite TV, phone, mini-fridge and hairdryer. Standard rooms have 2,3 or 4 beds, 4th bed is a sofa bed suitable for a child up to 12 yrs. All rooms can be in the main building or in small buildings around the complex. Only sea view rooms overlook the pools.
Room Upgrades
We also offer Family rooms and Deluxe rooms.
Family rooms are suitable for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and a child up tp 12 yrs; some have sliding partition doors to separate the children’s sleeping area.
Deluxe rooms are located on the ground floor in smaller buildings in the grounds and include LCD TV, DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities, bathrobe, slippers and a terrace with sunbeds and umbrella.

Kolymbia lies on the east coast of the island of Rhodes and is ideal for those seeking a quiet spot in which to relax and soak up the sun. Popular with an international clientele, it enjoys a picturesque setting with the imposing mountain of Tsambika in the distance and the Epta Piges (Seven Springs) located close by. In Kolymbia itself, you will find a magnificent beach - ideal for swimming and watersports, and there is an 18-hole golf course located in Afandou, 8km away. Kolymbia is a Greek resort that remains largely undiscovered and as such is quiet all year round. It does offer a good range of sporting activities, a few shops and restaurants and a good selection of bars.
