Designed for 3 to 11 year olds, Thomson Kids’ Club offers 2 hours of activities, 5 or 6 days a week. And that includes at least 3 evenings. It’s split into sections, with Tots for 3 to 5 year olds, Team for 6 to 8s, and Tribe for 9 to 11s. Best of all, most kids’ clubs activities are completely free. And outside of peak season, there are parent and toddler sessions 3 days a week, too. For your peace of mind, all Thomson Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times.
We have just returned from Atlantica Club Aegean Blue and had a lovely time there. We booked a family room and this was a good size and very clean, although a bit dated in decor. It had a sliding door partition that offered some privacy and separated the sleeping areas. We had a ground floor room with a good sized terrace, 2 sun beds and a table with 4 chairs.
During our stay we didn't encounter any difficulties and our 9 year old son had a fantastic time and made friends from different countries. The children's facilities were great and our boy participated in football, water polo and loved the swimming pool. The pool was really cold but we managed to brave it and great fun was had by all. My partner enjoyed archery, French boules, darts and some other activities. Other activities included Zumba, Aqua fitness and a few other things.
The hotel has a water park that you can use and we went there most days. Adults and children seemed to have a fantastic time on the various slides. For the end of season the hotel appeared busy. Everyone we met seemed to enjoy themselves.
We also really enjoyed our stay and felt that the hotel was extremely clean with lovely, friendly staff. I was particularly impressed by the food. As vegetarians we often struggle with choice but to our delight, we found that they had a vegetarian section with 3 choices and others also within the main buffet all marked with a 'V' to let you know it was suitable.
In terms of drinks, we thought the wine on tap was fine, as were many of the other drinks. However, as some other people have said, some tasted watery and not very nice, particularly the pina colada.
We travelled to Rhodes town one day by local bus and this was very easy and reliable. The old town is pretty with little cobbled streets and lots of shops. It takes about 30/40 mins to get there.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. It has a 5T rating by Thomson and I would give it this for the facilities on offer. The rooms are not luxurious as you might expect from a 5T hotel, but I think the rating has been given because of the facilities on offer.

This hotel was wonderful. We arrived late due to a delayed flight, but even though it was early hours of morning we received a great welcome and were offered food. We were taken to our room, the fridge had water and soft drinks to see us through the night.room was comfortable and very clean. The food in hotel was plentiful and good quality. Snack bar food was good. All inclusive drinks were good. I can recommend the atlantica special cocktail. Asian restaurant was a treat. Never a shortage of sunbeds. Plenty for children to do. Special mentions to Jess and James who were both very helpful. Yiannis in the pool bar and Linda in the terace bar, but all the staff were lovely smiley and friendly. Beach access was easy and nice and clean. Water was clear and warm.Altogether a wonderful experience. I certainly recommend it.

This hotel is fantastic. We stayed here for one week with our family 10 adults and an 8 month old, for our wedding vow renewal. From the day we arrived everything was just perfect, the rooms are lovely, and there was always plenty of food to choose from in the restaurant or snack bar and all the pools, kids play areas, waterpark, etc, are brilliant, we couldn't have a picked a better venue for our vow renewal, the gazebo was decorated beautifully and Marietta and Lenka ensured everything went smoothly on the day, with thanks to Kellie who was very helpful on the run up to the big day.
The staff here can't do enough to help you, especially after my husband suffered an accident the day after our vows and had to spend 12 days in the hospital. All the staff at the Aegean and the Thomson reps, Jess and James and Jean from the head office did everything they could to help us through a very difficult time. A big thank to you Litsa from reception who was so helpful with information before we arrived on holiday and was a massive help to us after the accident. Not forgetting the super bar staff, Linda, Terry, Aphroditi, Mikos and Mickalis, sorry if I've forgotten anyone and all the entertainment crew who were friendly and always checking to see how my husband was getting on.
Although our holiday did take a horrible downturn, due to the fantastic staff at this hotel it went a long way to make our extended stay on Rhodes a little easier.
I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel or recommending it to anyone.More
