Early visit to a lovely place
This hotel is an All-inclusive an you will not be disappointed for any reason. We had nice and large room in the main building above the dining area. But no problem with that. With a good view over the pools and with really good beds we stayed one week. Last week in april is probably a little bit early but like real vikings we only used the sea and the beach. The food was good and plenty of various dishes was served every day. Friendly staff and a clean hotel. You should be aware that there is a lot of families with small ones but no problem with that. The only yhing I can say is the redwine was served very cold. Things that you can live with. WiFi is working all over the hotel-area.More
Lovely week away
Hotel very clean and comfortable. Food excellent. Would recommend a visit to the Asian a la carte restaurant. All the staff were absolutely great. Only downside was that although we knew this was a family hotel and we were there outside school holidays the hotel was full of small pre school children and babies.Obviously there before it gets too hot.Not all were well behaved! Will consider hotels more carefully next time. All inclusive drinks were ok except the Gin. Tasted awful.Wine a bit weak too. Resort was ok with a few small tavernas and bars. Very quiet. We went on two Thomson trips. One to Lindos and Rhodes Town and another to Symi. Both Lindos and Rhodes Town are worth a visit.Symi harbour is breathtaking. Lots of pastel coloured houses around the bay. Great photo opportunities.More

Exceptional in every department
Myself, my wife and our 3 year old daughter stayed at this hotel from 28th April 2015 for 11 nights and had an absolutely brilliant time. We cannot wait to go back. When we arrived check in was extremely quick and we were soon being driven by golf cart to our room. The porter was very polite and insisted that he carried our bags to the room. We stayed in a deluxe room in a ground floor bungalow a short walk from the main hotel. The room had a large king size bed and a sofa bed for our daughter. The safe was free and the fridge was pre-stocked with refreshments. We were advised the fridge would not be re-stocked during our stay but this was fine. The TV received English channels and there was also a DVD player, which came in very handy for our daughter. The bathroom had a large bath and was well stocked with shower gels, shampoo, soap, etc. We had a terrace area outside containing 2 sunbeds, table and 3 chairs and a towel rack to hang wet towels/swimwear to dry. The room was right next to the main pool which was very convenient and we didnt get disturbed at night. The main pool was very large and there was also an activity pool, childrens pool and jacuzzi. The water was quite cold initially but once you were in and you got used to it, it was ok. The hotel was full during our visit but there was never an occasion when you couldnt get a sunbed, such was the amount they have. Situated next to the pool area was the pool bar which served drinks, sandwiches and ice-creams throughout the day. There was also a separate snack bar which served the same plus salads, chips, burgers, pizza, etc from 11am - 5pm. To the right of the hotel was an amazing waterpark with 3 separate sections dependent on age. The infant area was animal themed and had 2 small slides plus several other fun objects that kept my daughter entertained. For the more adventurous and older child there was another section containing 3 larger slides and play structure. For the over 12s there was a third section containing 4 big slides. There was also a lazy river running around the waterpark for all the family. The snack bar within the waterpark was not all-inclusive but the pool bar and snack bar were only short walk away so it didnt inconvenience us at all. The grounds also contained 3 playgrounds, a tennis court, 5 a side football pitch, volleyball court, at least 3 different kids clubs, kids play hotel, games room, softplay area, table tennis tables, darts board, pool tables, mini market. The hotel was always spotless throughout our stay and is situated on the beach which was also nice. Free wifi throughout too. The all-inclusive food and drinks across the resort were fantastic. Drinks included: local beer, red/white/rose wine, spirits, around 10 cocktails, soft drinks, slush puppies, hot drinks, non-alcoholic cocktails. The main restuarant was open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snacks and served a huge variety of hot and cold food. Every meal had at least 1 working show chef and each evening meal had a theme. There really was such a huge variety that it never became boring like some all inclusive restaurants can. The quality of the food was also exceptional. Very impressive. We visited the Asian a la carte restuarant during our visit and the food in there was also exceptional. The staff at the hotel and also the Thomson staff were also fantastic. All very friendly and helpful. Couldnt do enough for you. All made a big fuss over my daughter making sure she was enjoying herself. Activities and entertainment for all ages throughout the day and night. As a tip, in the main reception 6 nights a week they have an acoustic guitarist called Sean playing. He is a member of the Thomson team and is extremely talented. You simply must check him out. Although the resort is more geared to families we did speak to couples who also couldnt speak highly enough of the place. We have been recommending this hotel to all our friends and family and we really would love to go back again and again. Everything about it really is exceptional. If I was pushed to make a suggestion to the hotel it would be to get the pools and waterpark heated. This is only a recommendation.More
Myself, my husband and 15 year old son stayed at this hotel from 31 April for 11 nights. This was our second stay, having stayed here 2 years previous at Easter and we loved it so much we decided to return and we weren't disappointed! Thomson's were really good from start to finish and they had a really good rep who spent plenty of his time at the hotel making sure everyone was happy! We stayed in a family room with partial sea view, in the bungalows away from the main part of the hotel and overlooking the pool. (Don't know why they're called bungalows as they're 3 storeys high)! Rooms very spacious though with sliding partition to separate children's sleeping area and very clean. Very large bathroom too with bath and separate shower cubicle and shower gel is provided in wall canister. Food was good last time but even better this year! 100's of different dishes to choose from at every meal. The a la carte Asian restaurant was very good too. The staff pulled out all the stops to open up the water park 3 days earlier than advertised (it wasn't due to open until the day after our departure). This would have been no mean feat as at least 6 life guards on duty and lots of cleaning etc needed to be completed before it could open, despite freezing cold water, well done hotel! The best bit about this hotel, though, is the staff. Without exception they were all so friendly. In fact 95% of them were still there from 2 years previous which speaks volumes. What was really nice was that the staff had remembered us from 2 years ago, I think because we are the crazy English people who try to speak Greek to them! We were really chuffed as the hotel has a capacity of 1,300 people so has 1,000s staying there every season.Special thanks also to Lauren Jones, the hotel's own Customer Relations person who was wonderful, talking to all of the guests and answering any queries. She is such an asset to the hotel. The entertainment team were also good fun and worked hard. There was plenty for everyone to do, children and adults alike. My husband was kept quite busy with organised team sports! Our 15 year old son quickly made friends with a group of teenage boys and we would often not see him all day as was happy participating in activities with them such as table tennis, football and the water park and going for meals with them. We are seriously considering returning next year and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel.More

Amazing exceed our expectations
You couldn't ask for a more welcoming reception drinks on arrival your bags took to your room, escorted to our room. The staff employed by the hotel where so helpful nothing was to much trouble this also went for the thomsons taff my son has adhd and autism and they dealt with is behaviour and sometimes got the brunt tend of his lack of understanding kenney dealt with him great, it's the first holiday ever that he has actually participated in any activities and this was down to the staff he doesn't normally interact with anyone, my younger son loved little pups as did the adults, we would love to book and go again hopefully early next year, one bonus was that we didn't have to take towels with us and pool towels where supplied, I will defiantly look at other hotels in the chain I hope they are all of the same standard I would be more than happy to visit each one, the hotel was amazingly clean, only thing I would like to see was a little more variety on the kids menu, I was really please that the hotel had cutlery and plastic forks, spoons bowls and cups for younger guestsMore
