With an exciting waterpark and a beachfront location, the Atlantica Aegean Blue is perfect for family getaways.

The Atlantica Aegean Blue is right on the edge of a sand and shingle beach, so the Mediterranean Sea can be seen from all over the hotel.

If you want all inclusive 5 star then go here!!!

Myself, my boyfriend, his mum, dad, brother, sister in law, nephew (2 years old) and 2 others went for 7 nights to this hotel. On arrival the porters took our luggage and the hotel staff handed us a glass of champagne. We then got escorted to our rooms by a luggage buggy. The room was lovely and clean. Quite spacious. Balcony was huge and had a table and chairs. Mini fridge was full of water and fizzy drinks and fruit juice. Air conditioning was perfect as it was so hot. We arrived late at night so didn't really see much but the hotel staff gave us out all inclusive bands and led us to the main restaurant where they did a late night supper which was 10.30pm-12.30am. There was a fair bit to choose from such as bread rolls, baguettes, soup, pasta, salad, noodles. Very impressed! We went to our rooms after and the curtains were blackout so was very very dark (came in handy in the morning when we wanted a bit of a lay in) there were lights by the bed so we didn't have to get out of bed in the dark. Had a wicked sleep the bed was amazing , so comfortable. In the morning we went down to the supermarket on site to fetch our free pool towels which we were entitled to 6 per week so 3 per person a week. The pool area looked amazing. There is one big pool and 2 little ones. Plus a outside jacuzzi. There's a little play park for the little ones and a baby shed with cots and changing mats etc. After we got settled we went u to the main restaurant for breakfast which is 7-10am then continental breakfast 10.30-1pm. Loads to choose from and it's all help yourself and as much as you want. After breakfast we went for a walk around the resort. Near the main entrance is a jewellers, cocktail bar and the main restaurant. Loads of comfortable sofa's to sit on and very good air conditioning. Downstairs there is a soft play area and a games room. As you go outside there is the mini supermarket and a evening restaurant which opens at 6pm. You have the big stage entertainment area and a pool bar. You also have another restaurant by the pools which serve hot dogs, burgers, chicken, kebabs, pizza, chips and so much more I could go on forever. They open 12-5pm and also have help yourself ice cream and drinks. Past the kiddies play park about 10 metres, is the beautiful beach. Lovely blue/green clear sea water and is sandy and shingles. (Would advise to wear footwear) also have your water sports there aswell which you have to pay for separately. Sunbeds are €4 for the day! Can also have a pamper on the beach as they do come over and ask you think they were between €30-€40 for full body :) then back on the resort round the back is the water park. Me and my boyfriend and his mum loved it!!! Me and my boyfriend spent a lot of time on the slides and me and his mum spent a few hours a day on the lazy river as it's all ongoing and no one to tell you to get off. The slides do have lifeguards. There's only about 6 slides and a toddlers area with a little pool but it's brilliant. Sun chairs all free but drinks and food in there you have to pay for so take your own. I will put some pictures up. Anyway all in all it was definitely a 5 star lovely hotel resort. Very tidy, clean, loads to eat and drink, beach literally on your doorstep, staff were very friendly, happy and entertaining especially our biggest friend NIKOS. He was very good at making cocktails :) entertainment was good although room for improving and maybe maturing a bit after the kids entertainment has finished. Entertainment finishes at 10.30pm which was a bit disappointing seen as the kids is 8-9.15pm and the bars are only open until 1am. ( can't ask for more really I'm just being greedy cos I like a bit of entertainment). By the way, the evening buffet in the main restaurant is 6pm-10pm and every night is a themed night with different foods from all over, AMAZING with the amount to choose from and the presentation of it all is brilliant and again the staff are fantastic. Would reccommend this resort to everyone except the elderly as I think it may be too much for them. No offense! Great holiday ✈️☀️🍹🍉🍭🍒🍐🍓🍎🍏🍊🍑🍈🍌🍋🍅🍍🍬⛵️🍰🍦🍩🍞More

Janine W,

Great family holiday

Stayed at the Atlantic Aegean Blue for 2 weeks in mid-June. There is plenty for the kids to do what with the clubs, waterpark, slides etc… and the disco in the evening was great. We travelled with our son who was just under 2 and he loved the soft play area and the toddler’s splash area. Having stayed at similar 4 and 5 star hotels, I would have to say that the food at this resort was the best. There was so much to choose from and even the fussiest of eaters would find something. The service and plate clearing was excellent. The staff were also amazing and happy to help if needed. We arrived late at night and after a welcome drink, were ushered straight away to the restaurant - what a great touch! I choose this resort as it had a gym and being a runner, I like to be able to use the treadmill. For me, the only downside was that the gym was quite small and only had a limited number of apparatus (six) and there were no free weights either. As it was quite busy when we were there, I found it difficult to be able to find something that was free to use. We hired a car from Rodos cars and visited Lindos, Rhodes Town and a wonderful beach with clear sea which was perfect for our little one to splash about in and build sandcastles (as suggested by the Rodos advisor). We had a fantastic time and there was not much traffic about which made driving easy. We took advantage of the crèche so that we could have a meal in peace which was lovely. We had such a lovely holiday and I would definitely come back again. We have returned to the UK with some wonderful memories!More

Lovely setting, disappointing in operation

We are currently staying for a week, day 3, Food not 5 star, no waiter service or drinks to the table, if you get up to get food together you lose your table. Entertainment poor, kids club no information given or hard to find. Staff lovely. Rooms not as we expected, we asked for a deluxe sea view we are in a basement apartment with no private garden, and WHY do people insist on towels on sunbeds so early, beach is close by stones under foot, beach sports available. We have been used to cruises before, think on hindsight better value!More

Claire H,

Fantastic relaxing family holiday

If you want an excellent all round holiday with your family this is the place for you! We returned a week ago and im still telling everyone what a great time we all had. We arrived arpund 04.30 and were booked into room 245 on the second floor of the main building. Check in was efficient and our bags were taken to our room by the friendly porter. We opened the patio doors and to our delight we had an amazing8ng view across the pool areas and out to sea. Room was very spacious with a seperate area for our 4 year old son. The room was cleaned to a very high standard every day with clean towels and bedding whenever required (I think it was every day) Every inch of the hotels surfaces are cleaned thoroughly every day. There was not any dirt anywhere. The pools are excellent with a choice of 4 to suit your requirements. Again these were constantly cleaned. Yes the main buffet restaurant can get busy but we really loved seeing Anna who woukd greet us at the entrance whilst we waited for someone to take us to our preferred area of the restaurant (please don't stop doing this it was a real plus for us compared to our previous holidays) The food was very good (sorry excelent) there was loads to choose from and it was of excellent quality. There is also the option to dine out in the 3 other local hotels owned by Atlantica. We did just that and the service, quality and choice of food was also excellent. This is all part of the all inclusive package and a very good idea. All of the staff were extremely helpfull and I mean all of them. A big thank you to Linda, Terry, Agata (love the bell on the drinks trolley) Christina and everyone else who made our stay enjoyable. Oh and yes Alexandros there were many occasions when we saw you around the hotel ensuring everything was working correctly and that everyone was having a good time. You were one of a number of people who asked me on a number of occasions if everything was to my satisfaction. The hotels vision is to ensure that everyone has an excellent time. We sure did We dont usually return to the same hotel twice but on this occasion I think we might. A great holiday with excellent family facilities and customer satisfaction guaranteed.More
