An introduction to Hotel Rodos Palladium
When a hotel comes with a 5T tag, it’s bound to have a fair few things going for it. And the Rodos Palladium is a case in point. Pulled up close to a Blue Flag beach, it’s got a location worth boasting about.
There’s a swimming pool of epic proportions just footsteps from the sands. It comes complete with little bridges that lead to two central islands where there’s a bar and clusters of sunbeds. Elsewhere, there are lawns with pathways that lead to shady pergolas and wind down to the beach.
Inside, as well as another pool which comes with a whirlpool bath, there’s a spa and wellness centre. It’s kitted out with treatment rooms for massages, facials and hot stone therapies. For the active types, meanwhile, there’s tennis, volleyball and keep fit classes.
When it comes to dining, this place has three restaurants. For breakfast and lunch, head to the main restaurant for well-stocked buffets. Evening meals, meanwhile, are a mix of waiter service and help-yourself affairs. Local dishes and round-the-world favourites are all on the menu, as is show-cooking. But it’s the Greek nights that prove the real favourite – classic dishes like moussaka are served alongside traditional dancing.
Lastly, there are the bedrooms. They’re classically-styled spaces which blend cream walls with peach soft furnishings. In-room comforts like tea-and-coffee kits, satellite TVs and fridges come as standard. As do bathrobes and slippers.
