Back when Villa Rodia was built, the village of Neochori wasn't much more a clutch of houses in the mountains of Pelion. And more than 90 years on, not much has changed. The village has grown a little, but the view from this traditional stone villa remains as lovely as ever. Surrounded by fruit trees and olive groves, you can see all the way to Argalsti village from the terrace.
Speaking of the terrace, this one's got more than the gorgeous views going for it. Made from the same stone as the house, it steps down the hillside like the tiers of a wedding cake. And the bottom level is where you'll find the pool.
Inside, traditional home comforts and modern touches blend effortlessly. The whitewashed walls in the living room make a perfect backdrop to the contemporary white sofas and black and chrome chairs. While traditional edges like wooden beams and tiled floors keep things cosy. Upstairs it's a similar story. All whitewashing and wood, the farmhouse-style bedrooms are simple and comfy.
