Standing in a sheltered little row, they sit on the sand and shingle beach, with the gentle waves literally lapping at their doors. To really make the most of their position, they all have a terrace area– so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the glass-like waters. Step inside and you'll find tiled floors, pastel-washed walls and light wooden furniture, giving it a typical rural Greek ambience that's light and airy. And everything you could need is to hand including a fully-equipped kitchen so you can whip up your meals with fresh local ingredients.

There are also sunbeds, parasols and a CD stereo to help you get on with the all important business of putting your feet up. You won't find much in the way of attractions here – but that's its charm. It's just you, the beach and the picture-postcard views. To stock up on the essentials, a two minute walk takes you to the local mini-market or it's a leisurely ten minute stroll to the village centre where you'll find a handful of delightful tavernas serving local Greek cuisine.
