The Old Vineyard

The Old Vineyard oozes traditional charm. Snugly nestled in a gorgeous woodland area with silvery olive trees and colourful flowers, this whitewashed property is typically Greek. A large veranda stretches along the front of this detached villa - the perfect spot for al fresco dining. Step inside and it's just as lovely. Whitewashed walls, stone floors and beamed ceilings await, and the open plan kitchen and living area are furnished with typically Greek wooden furniture. And you don't have to go far to bed as it's all on one level with a double room and a sofa bed. Pretty gardens invite you outside, where you can spend long days lazing on the terrace and cooling off in the private pool.

Peaceful, secluded and about as rural as you can get, it ticks all the right boxes for a serene getaway. It's not too far off the beaten track though. The delightful little fishing village of Loggos is just 1km away, with a bakery, mini-markets and charismatic tavernas, and if you hop in the car, a ten minute drive takes you to the charming port town of Gaios. You're spoilt for beaches too with the pebbly bay of Levekio, the mesmerising cove of Mamari and the sweeping sands of Kipiardi, all nearby.
