For a taste of old Paxos, follow one of the roads that criss-cross the headland to experience tranquil olive groves unchanged in centuries. Hire a motorboat to phut-phut around secluded pebble coves. And don't miss a boat trip to Anti Paxos, the tiny nearby island whose white sand beaches are lapped by the brightest blue seas you'll ever see.
