For a room with a view, the just-opened Terra Verde Apartments are top of the class.
These fresh-out-of-the-wrapping apartments are in a great hilltop spot. Look one way and you’ll see Valtos Beach, look the other and you’ll see Parga’s striking Venetian Castle. Both are within easy walking distance - so you’re still pretty central despite the peaceful location.
From the outside, the accommodation is sleek and stylish. Think flat roofs, clean lines and smooth walls the colour of buttermilk. There’s a private swimming pool and roomy sun terrace right in front of the apartments, so you’re never far from the water. And with a separate pool for the kids, everyone’s happy. Plus, with only ten apartments available, it’s likely this chilled out spot will remain just that.
Inside, each apartment has a separate bedroom and a spacious living room/kitchen – so they easily sleep 3 adults. Style-wise the rooms come with a neutral colour scheme. White walls have been teamed with a mix of wrought-iron and pine furniture. Spacious terraces or balconies come as standard and in-room comforts, like air-conditioning, hairdryers and TVs, are all part of the package.

“A favourite with the Greeks, Parga offers up an unbeatable mix of scenery, beaches and a carefree atmosphere.”
Sandwiched between mountains and a sweeping bay, Parga is one of those seaside towns you see on postcards. Colourful boats bob in the harbour, tavernas spill out onto cobbled streets, and whitewashed houses cling to the steep hillsides. It’s no wonder the town is as popular with the Greeks as it is with foreigners. Holidays here tend to be take-it-easy affairs, with eating and shopping topping the list of popular pastimes. But don’t plan too much – Parga is a great place to get lost in. Stroll through its maze of narrow alleyways and you’ll stumble upon postage stamp-sized stores, family-run meze bars and crumbling old churches. If you’re after the classic combination of sea and sand, meanwhile, the town has its own miniature beach, just five minutes from the harbour. For more extensive stretches though, you’ll have to head slightly further afield. The golden shores of Lichnos beach and Valtos beach are just a short taxi boat ride away, so they make for great day trips. Just make sure you head back to town for the evening, when Parga’s laid-back tempo gets turned up a notch. Waterfront tavernas fill up around dinner time, as people flock to sample the delicious Greek cuisine. And, later, lively bars and a few little clubs offer up drinks and tunes long into the night.

The apartments are well furnished and well equipped. The owners provide a basic breakfast when you arrive. The rooms are spacious with efficient air con and a safe which are all free. there is free internet also in the reception room. We had a relaxing... more on this review
