This boutique place has clinched a high rating on TripAdvisor since opening in 2009. It's got a hillside spot overlooking Parga's beaches and castle - and the best views are from the 2 pools.

The apartments have a rural setting, with rolling hills all around. It's quiet here, but a beautiful 15-minute walk takes you down to the old town of Parga and the sand-and-shingle Valtos Beach.

The perfect place to stay

Stayed at the Terra Verde Apartments in July 2014 and it was an excellent choice, great apartment, excellent service and amazing views. Just a bit of a hike up the hill at the end of the day, but a very cheap taxi ride if you cannot be bothered to walk, however the location is just perfect. The owner takes pride in her apartments and it is the little things that count. She gets bottles of water delivered to the reception that you purchase (2 Euros for 6L of water) saves carrying. I would recommend this place as an excellent place to stay in a beautiful town. A hidden gem on the west coast of Greece.More

Immaculate, quiet apartments, lovely pool

Immaculate, quiet apartment away from the hectic centre of Parga. Pool was perfect for a young family, and fab views of the olive trees and mountains. A ten minute walk down to two beaches and plenty of good restaurants, bakeries and cafes. We had room in our living area/kitchen for two good-sized beds for our children - teenagers may find it too small for them, but we had plenty of space. The main bedroom was large with plenty of storage, which we needed for all the children's clothes etc. There are 2 loungers per apartment which was enough as often people were on the beach, having days out etc. If every apartment had two children in it then there would not be enough but in August, the busiest time of year with every apartment full, there were always plenty. The small size of the apartments meant that children played together and we chatted to other guests yet there was plenty of space for your own privacy too. The co-owners take it in turns to be at the property and stay on the top floor apartments and are fab - Anastasia is very interesting about Greek theatre and the local area. We did lots of boat trips and loved the river walk trip organised by Thomsons. The castles are fun to explore. We swam from the town beach to the island - wear elastic shoes so you can walk around when you get there as it is covered in pine needles! Takes 5-6 minutes to swim across and our children managed it too. Flights etc were on time, rep James was lovely. An excellent, very good value holiday for the peak time!More

Outstanding Appartments

The Terra Verde appartments are immaculate. The cleaning ladies are so friendly and do so such a wonderful job. The view is stunning. It is a bit of a walk back but it is worth it to experience the setting. It is only 4 euros to get a taxi back each night if you don't fancy the walk. Our favourite restaurants were Aegis (turn right when you get to the Anchor - recommend the Beef Aegis) and the Perivoli which is a bit more of a walk but worth it (recommend the lamb roast). We cannot fault the Terra Verde at all, would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again when we return to Parga. Thank you Dina for looking after us. More

Swcfc,

A first class, tranquil place to stay

We loved our two week stay at the Terra Verde. Everything people have said below is 100% accurate. The appartments are spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and the staff are incredibly warm and helpful. Our twin daughters were thoroughly spoiled with sweeties and hugs from the staff throughout our stay. It was a typical Greek welcome and we will definitely come back. Parga itself bustles; the best beach, in our view, is Lichnos but Sarakiniko is worth a visit on a calm sea day just for the lovely taverna with the pool on the beach. Best restaurants are up near the Terra Verde - philomenas for the flavours and Stakis for the authentically Greek taverna experience. But Parga is vast and full of life so just explore. Visit the olive oil museum - really, it's great! Our kids loved it as the staff were brilliant. On a final note, the tour rep, James, was brilliant. He is incredibly knowledgable and clearly loves his work so nothing is too much trouble. He's a credit to Thomson,More

Sets the standard

Returned home last weekend from a lovely stay at the Terra Verde in Parga. We can't recommend it highly enough. The tone was set on arrival when we were warmly welcomed by Anastasia and shown to our apartment. The views were stunning, sweeping from the hills and down across the bay, with the smell from the surrounding olive trees and oregano plants lightly scenting the air. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable, with a roomy balcony and (a very welcome) bottle of cold water in the fridge and tray of tea, coffee, juice, croissants etc for our first breakfast. The pool is a good size, with plenty of sun loungers on the terrace. To top it off the staff were very friendly and helpful and clearly took great pride in their work; everywhere was spotless and well maintained. Parga itself was very pretty, with winding streets to explore, a lovely harbour and plenty of good places to eat. We're looking forward to returning and staying again at the Terra Verde.More
