An introduction to Villa Christina

Villa Christina is split into six very spacious apartments. Three have been reserved for our guests, offering a choice of accommodation with one, two or three bedrooms. All are attractively appointed and finished to a high standard, with beds and furniture made from bamboo. Marble floors, whitewashed walls and gleaming pine ceilings create a light and airy feel and the bathrooms and open-plan kitchens are modern and well equipped. The three-bedroom apartment is particularly airy, arranged on different levels, and has the benefit of having two bathrooms.

From Villa Christina's elevated setting, guests can enjoy stunning views over rolling hills cloaked in olive groves, citrus orchards and elegant cypress trees down to the town of Nauplion and across the Argolic Gulf to the hazy mountains of Arkadia. At dusk the Palamidi Castle in the distance seems to hover above Nauplion and watching the changing colours while sipping a drink on your balcony couldn't be more relaxing.

Despite Villa Christina's wonderfully rural and peaceful position, it stands just 6km from the delightful town of Nauplion and its couple of beaches; the quaint town beach with its old-fashioned changing cubicles and the sweeping crescent of Karathonas which is just a few minutes further on from the Palamidi entrance. The popular resort of Tolo, with its long sandy beach, is only 11km away and even closer to home you will find the village of Agios Adrianos is a rather sleepy little place but does boast a taverna, a cafe, a mini-market, a greengrocers and a traditional village bakery. A whole host of archaeological sites can easily be reached within an hour's drive from here - Epidavros, Ancient Mycenae and Tyrins are literally on your doorstep.
