With all the lively attractions of Kos Town on the doorstep … and all the leisurely pace of a coast and countryside resort, holidays in Psalidi are perhaps the best of both worlds.
Separated from the capital by just a couple of kilometres of fairly flat road, you could hire a bike to get into town and up the tempo several notches, or take it gently at a stroll. The road is punctuated by traditional tavernas and blessed with gorgeous views across the water to the Turkish coast.
Psalidi itself is a spaciously spread and modern resort with a long (and rarely crowded) sand and shingle beach. Quiet and relaxing, Psalidi holidays include a great mix of styles from simple self-catering complexes to super 5-star hotels – so whether you're pushing the boat out or going for a bargain, holidays to Psalidi could be your ideal. Whet your appetite on these … At the Alexandra Beach Hotel & Apartments you've a choice of B&B rooms or the convenience of your own kitchenette …Designed like a Moorish castle, the Hotel Platanista has proved to be a more-ish choice for couples who come back time after time ... And the Grecotel Kos Imperial is a draw for families and couples alike – adding a touch of luxury with its spoil-yourself spa, palm-island pools and seafront gardens.
It's a brilliant location, with something for every style and budget. So if you've left it to the last minute, holidays to Psalidi will still come up trumps.
