The Poseidon Hotel puts all of Kos’ best bits on your doorstep. The property is just a ten-minute walk from the town centre, and it takes the same time to get to the beach.
The hotel is well-known for its welcoming atmosphere. At the swimming pool, guests get talking to each other over cocktails from the bar.
Bedrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. They all come with tea and coffee-making facilities, so you can enjoy a hot drink on your balcony at the start of the day.
The Poseidon Hotel has been in business for 30 years so they’ve got customer service down to a fine art. The staff have a reputation for being friendly and helpful and they pull out all the stops to entertain on the weekly barbecue, party and quiz nights.

Excellent hosts make you feel at home!
I stayed at Poseidon Hotel 3 years ago and fell in love with Kos and the lovely people at this hotel. The owner manager Ange and his wife Toula make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and the hotel is central to Kos town. Monday night is party night and everyone of all ages joins in for a laugh and dancing hosted by Ange who is a great showman! I loved this hotel even more the second time around and thoroughly recommend it!More

Our second visit and again we had a great time. Ange, Toula, the family and staff make you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. The party nights are a good laugh and you can take part if you choose. The hotel is kept spotless and the maid service is excellent. There are plenty of good restaurants very near but the main town centre is only 10 mins away. We hired bikes to get around as we like to go to the beach at the other side of town. We look forward to our next visit.More

Clean , friendly , fun and family feel
We loved our time at the Poseidon hotel the staff welcome you with open arms and we couldn't of been treated any better ! And I have stopped in 5 star hotels all over the world and not had this level of help , we took our 13month baby with us for a week to see how he travelled and how we managed and it was made a lot easier with the help our Ange and Toula the owners . The Hotel bar is fantastic and has a excellent selection of sports to watch. The apartment was very clean and roomy and cleaned everyday to a high standard. The Pool is small but has a separate child/baby shallow side which was a good idea for our baby. Overall it was good value for money and I felt like part of the family buy the end of the week I would recommend and will return Love from Dean T and coMore
Good value for money
My husband and daughter just had two weeks here .The rooms were v clean and spacious .Cleaner Salvestine cleaned every day and clean towels .The pool was the let down dirty and small and the sun only shone on once side so when your part had had the sun we had to keep moving round and there wasn't much space .The air conditioning machine kept dripping on the bed so after three days they moved us rooms which had a great view over next hotel The Peridis hotel and the mountains room321 ,so what we did is use there hotel for the swimming and sun bathing they were great staff. All in all the Poseidon was good for the money but wouldn't stop again .More

Location is great but not too comfy
Ok so here we go.............The hotel is in a very good location with a short walk to the sea and into Kos Town itself, The Aussie management are friendly and willing to help if needed. THE ROOM - The room we stayed in was not so good, Room 220 if you like sleep, clean kitchen to cook in and a large double bed you will be dissapointed. This room is situated on the first floor near the stairs and the cleaners cupboard area it also has a balcony that looks out onto next doors hotel and does not get any sun. AVOID IF POSSIBLE THIS ROOM. If you do manage to sleep after 2am when all the drunken people have returned to the hotel and banged up the noisy stairs you might get a few hours before the cleaners start banging around outside your room. The were 2 single beds with big wooden frames that we put together, as a young couple on there first trip away together in was not ideal. (i did not ask to change this and just put up with it). The positioning of the TV is stupid and you end up with a bad neck trying to watch it, but to be honest the channels arent really worth it any way, the downloaded films on one channel seemed a good idea though if you check them first. KITCHEN - The management were quick to sort out the ant problem in the kitchen though! (Well done for that!) BATHROOM - The bathroom is small and has a very clingy shower curtain and you have people walking past your bathroom window and shouting in, you can barely swing a cat to be honest. Cheapish price to stay but will choose more luxury next time! You pay for what you get i guess.More
