HAD A WONDERFUL TIME IN KOS AND THE IMPERIAL
We have only just come back from KOS. We stayed in this hotel and we cannot understand why it only has 2 stars. As others have said the Reception staff are excellent as is the bar staff and the cleaners do a great job. The only low point was the view from our balcony - we were looking into the apartment opposite!! As we spent very little time on the balcony - we got a great view of the stars at night from the balcony - it was not a problem. Checkout is 12 noon but we paid €30 to stay until 6 pm. The swimming pool is great - there is a 1.20 section a middle section 1.80 and the final section is 2 metres. My comfort zone is the 1.20 and I spent many happy times swimming across. There is also a kiddies pool. There was no problem getting sunbeds no matter what time you arrived. The bar area is excellent as it has a lot of shade. We found the bar food good value for money. We had lunch there on 2 occasions. We always enjoyed the breakfast - the cheese, ham, boiled eggs, tomatoes, brown or white hot rolls, Greek yoghurt and honey, cake with jam - and coffee with milk. Another great attraction is the Caravan Taverna almost straight across the road. It is a lovely walk to the beach, the Harbour and the town. We also walked up to Al Dente and past the Marina but got a taxi back for €8. This is our second time to KOS but our first to the Imperial but it will not be our last.More
WILL NOT REPEAT!
We stay there for 2 weeks no repeat! They was few days that they didnt clean the room, they dont change towels often, its says in the door room every 2 times a week but Im not sure about it, I think is to less comparing to other hotel with the same characteristics! Breakfast to less the boil eggs was never well boiled. Breakfast is from 7:00 till 9:30. The bar is extremly expensive, 3€ for coffee, 4€ hot chocolate... On tuesday is live music at the swimming pool... bad luck for you if your room is by the swimming pool and you try to sleep cos after concert till 12:00/12:30 stays the people laughing and talking so difficult for the sleep! Last last they didnt was concert but was few people talking loud at swimming pool around 2 oclock, very annoying that the people from the hotel didnt say them anything! Leaving day morning they didnt gave us any breakfast! More
Better quality than many hotels with higher star ratings
It’s not surprising this superb hotel consistently gets good, solid, positive reviews. It is worthy of more stars because it’s hard to find any faults. From cleanliness, friendliness, facilities, location and impeccable family management it’s unbeatable.More
What are all the reviews on here about the Breakfast at Imperial not being good??? What a massive selection, ok not bacon and sausage, but "when in Rome" and all that!! Olives, cereal (different selections) cheese, ham, yoghurt, boiled eggs, jams (about 6 different) Rolls, toast, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, breakfast cake, pastries (different fillings, all a surprise) Don't have to eat in breakfast room, can take out to entrance patio area, where everyone passing eyes up your breakfast with envy, or take out to the pool area. Definitely a great selection and choice. Only 1st night here, but sure we are going to enjoy staying at The Imperial. Rooms and hotel spotless, should be 5 star. Off to Maria, (turn right out of hotel right again and straight up) to hire bicycles. Come to Imperial, you won't regret it. Clive and Jan, from Manchester, but soon to be from Waterford, IrelandMore
