This is my 5th year here and my first solo trip as a last minute getaway. I've never travelled solo abroad before but this hotel is so welcoming, and convenient to the town, that I didn't think twice. Billy and Costas are always on hand to make sure you are ok and the rooms are clean and comfy. Even in May the pool is warm enough for a comfortable swim and there are sun beds galore. Sky TV is available and the bar is well stocked with wifi available. Mummas food from the poolside cafe is delicious, especially the full English breakfast and the keftedes (meatballs). You will not find a better welcome in Kos. More
Lovely hotel and staff!
Me and my girlfriend went here for our first holiday abroad together as it was a reasonably cheap price for our first time. We were so happy this hotel did not disappoint us. Hotel clean, rooms cleaned every day. Wonderful staff. Swimming pool was a decent size for a swim and cool down. Cafe right next to the swimming pool with cooks up a stunning cook breakfast for cheap prices and cold and hot drinks. Plenty of sun beds available when we went. Air con was 50 euro but is important and worth the buy or you will be to got to sleep at night. Quiz nights were fun and I really enjoyed the Greek pints 'mythos' the go down a treat! Plenty of drinks to chose from behind the bar. My favourite part was how close the hotel was to the town just a five minute walk. Kos town was beautiful and has plenty of places to eat at and get drunk too. Hopefully come back one day! More
We had a lovely time at this pleasant hotel. Unfortunately Wi Fi was only accessible in the reception and dining areas which were comfortably kitted out with lounge chairs and a small bar at hand. The staff were not over friendly but nice enough. The rooms were clean and nice with a balcony to the rear with a view of the area (not much to see but ok). No tea or coffee making facilities. Cold buffet breakfast with bread, ham, cheese, cereal, and of course Greek yoghurt and honey with fruits. There is a reasonably sized pool and pool area with chairs and tables with an outside snack bar. Good distance to the heart of the action but we hired cycles and were impressed with the courtesy of the car drivers towards cycles and the many cycle lanes. Went on the Black Pearl cruise to a few islands which was fun. Visited many sight seeing ruins and castles. Many restaurants and shops locally. To walk into the center part would take around 25 minutes. Hire a cycle its fun!!!More
another visit coming up
Getting ready for this year's holidays to this wonderful hotel, we love it here so much this will be our third year running and this year we are going back twice, once in May and again in September. Really cannot praise this hotel enough, it is in an ideal location just 10 minutes walk from the town and run by the best family ever, they really cannot do enough for you to make your stay the best.Adults only with plenty of sunbeds, a lovely little poolside eating area with lots of lovely snacks freshly cooked by mamma and the bar always available for a nice refreshing drink with the brothers Costas and Billy there to serve you with a smile. Roll on May we cannot wait.More
Second visit, birthday treat from the wife!
Me and my wife stayed at the Bahamas in mid September, which was a surprise birthday present for me from her. We had previously stayed in this hotel in June 2014 so we knew exactly what to expect, and we weren't disappointed. We travelled on my birthday and arrived at around 9pm at night to a really warm and friendly welcome from Billy and Costas, it really was as though we had never been away. We paid the extra for the air-conditioning,which we didn't think was too expensive, and does the trick as it's nice to come back to a nice cool room after a day/evening out in the Kos heat. We had a pool view room, which was cleaned every day except for Sunday, and had plenty of hanging space and drawers for your clothes. The bed was very comfy and a good night's sleep was never a problem. The rooms have a fridge, which is perfect if you want to have a couple of drinks on your balcony before heading out in the evening. I've seen the odd review commenting on how the rooms don't have a TV, but for us this isn't an issue as we spent a lot of our days by the pool, or walking around Kos Town, we don't go on holiday to watch TV! The pool is very clean and very quiet, and if you fancy a drink by the pool, or something to eat then mother Sula works tirelessly until 4pm each day.We sampled her full English breakfast a couple of times which was great, washed down with a nice cold Mythos! The last time we stayed at this hotel we never woke up early enough to sample the free breakfast, but we managed it a few times this time.It was a small continental selection of ham, cheese, toast, cereals etc.very nice! We spent most of our evenings sat in the bar where Billy, Costas and Roxy were very hospitable and friendly. There is a good selection of drinks available, and quite a few nice cocktails too. There is a quiz night every Sunday, which was hosted by the Thomson rep Lee, who was very friendly and helpful, as well as a good comedian! There is free Wi-Fi in the bar area, and if your room is close enough you can pick it up on your balcony. Overall this hotel is a real gem, the owners can't do enough for you and really make you feel at home. Me and my wife love the hotel and Kos in general, and I think it's safe to say that we will be back! More
