This intimate, family-run hotel has just 30 rooms. It’s a big hit with TripAdvisor reviewers, who love the friendly staff, as well as the fact it’s strictly adults only.
The hotel’s less than a 10-minute walk from the centre of town. And when you want the beach, Lambi’s kilometre-long stretch of white sands is a 15-minute stroll away.

One of my best holidays!
Firstly i would like to say that there wasn't any faults with this hotel! Stayed here for the week and had an amazing holiday, billy and costas are amazing, so friendly and easy to get along with, you are welcomed into the hotel and made to feel at home! Because of no kids being in the hotel it's a lot easier for adults to socialise, the first day we arrived we automatically got speaking to all different couple and friends, met some fantastic people whilst here! Also when we arrived at the hotel and got into our room we were shocked to see that the rooms were extremely modern, compared to your normal Greek hotels! Plenty enough space in the rooms, and also cleaned every single day with fresh towels! This was also a first for us! All of the staff at the Bahamas hotel work extremely hard to make sure all guests are satisfied!! Don't be put off with what you are hearing on the news, me and my partner were both worried and there is no trouble at all, there are Migrants and you will see them by the harbour but they will not bother you! And also the cash problem is not an issue in kos UK bank accounts are not limited!!! I hope this review was helpful and will definitely be coming back! Had an amazing holiday!!More

Quiet, relaxing and friendly
Bahamas is perfect if you're looking for somewhere quiet and laid back, with a family-run feel and relaxing atmosphere. I would not recommend it for those looking for wild parties, or for those with limited mobility (due to the infrastructure in Kos, not the hotel itself). We had a fantastic time and Costas, Billy and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room - We were in a newly decorated room (I understand most of the rooms have been recently refurbished, and all will be done by 2016) which was lovely. It was quite typical of a low-cost Greek hotel room but with some nice added touches; the fridges stay on when you take your key card out, so your water is nice and cold whenever you want it, and the bathroom is much bigger than you normally get in this type of place. My only gripe is that the shower seemed to be designed to send as much water as possible onto the bathroom floor, but I have never found a Greek hotel where that doesn't happen! Cleanliness - Perfect. I was staying with a clean freak and even she was impressed! Six days a week you get a spotlessly clean room, along with all communal areas and the pools: the rooms are not cleaned on Sundays. We seemed to have fresh towels and sheets daily. Food and drink - We only ate at the hotel a couple of times but the food was lovely, very fresh and good quality. There are a huge range of drinks on offer (definitely try the Raspberry Cocktail - lovely!) and they are very reasonably priced - 2 euros for most soft drinks and 3-5 for alcohol. Management and staff - Everyone is friendly and helpful, from the owners to the housekeepers. We were a bit worried by some reviews which said they are not friendly unless you buy a lot of their food and drinks, because we go out to eat and we're not big drinkers. But we found it was totally untrue, we always got a smile and help when we had questions. It was just little things, like Costas charging my iPod for me when my plug wouldn't work, but it made our stay so much more relaxed. Atmosphere - Most guests are couples or adult family groups, and all British. All guests must be over 16. This results in a nice relaxed atmosphere, with people reading Kindles around the pool rather than falling over the bar stools until 4am. Location - Bahamas is the best of both worlds: just a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of Kos with hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops, but far enough away to be quiet at night. All you will hear is distant cockerels calling to each other and the occasional bleat of a goat. Kos has plenty to offer. The local tour operators offer a range of trips from a fun day at the waterpark to a shopping trip in Turkey on market day or relaxing in the thermal springs. You can get a bus from Kos to Kefalos for 4 euros, although we recommend the guided tour which takes you all over the island for 25 euros. The problem with Kos is (like much of Greece) it is difficult to get around if your mobility is limited. The pavements are more like pretty but useless accessories to the roads - there are trees or lampposts every eight feet or so, reducing the pavement to about 12 inches wide, so unless you feel like taking an obstacle course you have to walk in the roads and dodge the cyclists, quad bikes, motor bikes, mopeds and tourists in hire cars. I would definitely not go to Kos with anyone who couldn't walk far, or needed a wheelchair or buggy. Overall - We had a fantastic time and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. For those looking for more nightlife, nearby Lambi seemed to be more hen-and-stag-party.More
My partner and I have just returned from the Bahamas Hotel and we can't praise it enough. It was our first visit to the Bahamas and Kos itself and we weren't disappointed on either front! Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome and checked in within seconds (which is what you want when you arrive after midnight!). We had one of the refurbished rooms and were really pleased. Our room was kept spotless throughout our holiday, we had no complaints at all. We had a few drinks in the bar every evening and Billy and Costas made us feel right at home, even ordering us take out at silly o'clock! The cocktails are to die for :) The pool area is lovely and is kept spotless. We always managed to get a sunbed and enjoyed eating at the pool bar (my partner loved the meatballs..). There is a large selection of books that you can borrow by reception so that you always have something to read when sunbathing. The hotel itself is about a ten minute walk into town, but there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants on the way. There is also a bike hire shop at the bottom of the road where you can get bicycles, quads, buggies etc. at a reasonable price. I could go on for quite some time saying how fantastic this hotel is, but all I'm going to say is YAMAS! Cheers for a great holiday, we will be back :)More

BLOODY MARVELLOUS !!!!!!
We have had another fabulous holiday at the Bahamas Hotel thanks to Billie, Costas, Mama and George. The hotel has undergone a lot of refurbishment over the past seven years we have been going. This year the bar and pool area have been totally modernised to a very high standard. The bar is run by Billie and Costas with Kelly helping out. It's a place to relax have a few beers or cocktails and a chat with the other guests. The drinks are reasonably priced and even have kopperberg on draught. It also has free wifi. The pool area is another relaxing place with plenty of sun beds. As it's an adult only hotel there are no screaming kids (except the big ones). The snack bar run by Mama provides good tasty food at reasonable prices. The rooms although basic have everything you need including a fridge and hairdryer. The air con is extra at 50⬠but well worth it. The room is cleaned every day, except Sunday, and towels and sheets changed every couple of days. Kos Town is only a 10 min walk and has plenty of shops and restaurants. Don't worry about the migrants they tend to be around the police station collecting their papers to travel on. They don't bother the tourists at all. You can still get money out of the atm's. All in all we have had a fantastic holiday and would like to thank Billie, Costas, mama George and all the lovely friends we have made in the hotel. Needless to say 'we will be back' xMore
