Excellent - Great Stay!!

We stayed here for the first time and was very impressed by the clean and spacious rooms. They were cleaned dailed apart from Sundays - they need a rest!! Billy and Costas, Mum and Dad were very friendly and the Hotel bar well stocked!! The pool was spacious though they need a few more cushions for the sunbeds. Kos town was about 8-10 mins walk so quiet enough at night for sleeping. Would definately stay here again in the future. Kos itself is lovely and there are no issues with the immigrants. Free Wifi available in the bar/lounge area - charge for air conditioning tho this is the norm and safe hire available. Its a small adult only hotel run by a familyMore

Just go!

This is a lovely little hotel. The room has been refurbished since we were here last year. Really nice and spacious with loads of storage. The hotel is spotless and has a lovely pool area. Breakfast is continental. You pay extra for air conditioning and the safety deposit - which is normal for all the Greek hotels I've been in. Billy and Costas are the two brothers that run the hotel. They are really good guys. Make a mean cocktail. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the nearest restaurants or about 15 to the middle of the town. A lot of people seem to be cancelling going to Kos because of the refugees. DON'T. The refugees are no bother. I was a bit concerned before I came, but what you see on the news is not the reality. Any of the refugees that are sleeping in tents are beside the police station, which is on the opposite side of Kos town from the Bahamas. But even if you go along there they are not any threat. They are just waiting for their papers to move on. The Greeks work so hard on tourism and it is a shame people are staying away. I have been here two weeks now and if I could I would stay for another.More

Third Time Just As Good.

This was our third visit to the Bahamas, we usually go every two years and it is always the same Very Good. The refurbished rooms and the bar area are very smart. The pool and sunbathing are perfect for us but as others have commented more mattresses for the sunbeds are required. The bar at night is a great meeting place for regulars and newcomers. The weather although hot some days was perfect and the immigrants are not a problem. The flights, the weather the hotel spot on.More

Wish we had stayed for 2 weeks

We have just got back from this 'small and friendly' hotel after a weeks stay and we can honestly say that we wished we had booked 2weeks. We were a bit dubious about staying in a hotel of 2* rating as we have only previously stayed in 4 or 5 * hotels but we wanted a last minute weeks holiday just to get a bit of sun. Well what can we say this hotel exceeded our expectations and all the good reviews were correct. We arrived late at night to be greeted by Billy and straight away we were on first name turns, got key to room and then went and had a quick drink before turning in for the night. Room was a good size with air-con ( ok you have to pay or it but was worth it ) a decent sized fridge ( free) and a good hairdryer. Bathroom was small with a shower ( plastic shower curtain ). Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the housekeeping was excellent - thanks Maria. The only thing we didn't like and what we had forgotten about ( as it was about 20yrs since we'd been to Greece) was the toilet paper issue but you just have to get used to it. Breakfast was just continental basic but perfectly adequate and enough to keep us going to lunchtime. If you prefer a cooked breakfast it is available from the pool snack bar together with other meals which were very good. As they do not do meals at night you have the opportunity to sample one of the many, many restaurants that Kos Town has to offer. We had some lovely meals out and its only approx.10 mins walk to the centre. The pool here is very god and we would say that it is a better standard than the pool at the 4* hotel that we go to every year in Ibiza. Water was clean and a nice temperature , not too cold and not to warm that it doesn't refresh you. As we had really hot weather apart from 1 day we spent a lot of time in the pool keeping cool. As this is a adults only hotel the pool area was calm and relaxing but they do need to get a few more mattress as some people had to go without ( to make sure we got a couple we had to reserve our beds before breakfast - not what we thought we would have to do here). If you didn't want a mattress there was always a few beds available all day but the sunbeds are a bit uncomfortable without them. We booked the Greek night but that day we had a heavy thunderstorm with lots of rain - started in the early hours of the morning and lasted all day and night. We thought they would cancel it as its usually held outside by the pool but no it went ahead in the lounge/bar area. What a good night it was despite the weather, food was very good with the biggest pork chops we have ever seen. As I can't eat pork my husband was delighted with his 2 chops !!!!! Well worth the money and I'm sure it would have been even better if it had been outside. As this hotel is described as 'small and friendly' it certainly lives up to its name. Everybody from Billy, Costas, Mamma , George, staff and all the other guest were friendly and everyone spoke to each other, we really enjoyed ourselves and are going to try and go again next year for 2 weeks. Thanks to everyone for making this a great holiday.More

friendly and comfortable hotel .

We visited hotel following reading all the fantastic reviews and were pleased with most of the things this hotel had to offer . The family who own it are very friendly and accommodating and try very hard in these economical times and following the other issues that are going on in Kos they do a very good job. the hotel has a super swimming pool and is so quiet you could hear a pin drop sometimes which is bliss on a relaxing holiday. they could however do with investing in more cushion matress's for the sunbeds as there are more guests requiring them than they had Breakfast was very basic and i have to say a bit of a disappointment but we persevered with it as it was too much trouble to look for a nearby cafe that did anything better . we did enjoy our stay here and met some very nice people , but cannot see why people go back year after year . We would say if you want a peaceful holiday then this hotel is a good choice on the island of Kos .More
