This small hotel has a great pool scene and puts on a mean barbecue night. Plus it’s very near the beach.
This family-run place has a 2013 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. It comes with a good-sized pool and a bar that does snacks during the day. And there are barbecue and quiz nights, too.
The nearest beach is less than 2 minutes away on foot, and you’ll find shops and bars just outside the front door. Plus, the centre of Kos Town is only a 20-minute stroll along the seafront.

Amazing Family Run Apartments
Booked last minute with Thomson for myself, my partner and 20 year old son who we don't normally holiday with anymore (now we remember why!). We were lucky enough to fly on the Dreamliner both ways as they are clocking up the miles short haul. We didn't know about this until we got to the airport but was a fantastic suprise and cut the flight time quite considerably. We booked a 2 bedroomed apartment which was lovely, cleaned everyday with lots of fresh towels. Elias and Maria are truely fantastic people as other reviewers have said previously. The apartment complex, pool area, bar and restaurant are all lovely and the team work tirelessly all day. The beach and local restaurants are a couple of minutes walk away but we found the food in most of these nowhere as good at the food at Alice Springs. We paid for the BBQ Steak night that Alias and Maria offer which was far better than any local restaurant we found. Kos Town is a good 15 minute walk away and a far nicer walk on the beach side rather than the main street. You are harrassed at all of the main restaurants in the harbour and the one we did try had very poor customer service. There are imigrants in the main town area but not as many as you are led to believe and no issues with them at all. Overall a fantastic holiday at the Alice Springs with amazing owners. I've never been anywhere so friendly, even all of the guests whilst we stayed acted like our best friends. I can highly recommend this hotel and will return in a heartbeat. Elias would need to buy more brandy though !More
Me and my boyfriend did not actually stay here but came here to watch the football even though it was a 45 min walk from where we was staying .The manger and his family are so friendly and welcoming .More
Fabulous Small Hotel
My wife and I returned yesterday from a couple of weeks staying at the Alice Springs. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Elias and Maria the owners can never do enough for you.We had an apartment on a room only basis which consisted of a large double bedroom with balcony overlooking a decent sized pool, a kitchenette/lounge and a bathroom with shower. The hotel is spotlessly clean and is a credit to the staff, most of whom have been at the hotel for a number of years. There is hot food available around the pool area but there are a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Take no notice of the British press comments about the boat people. They are not a problem. Their only concern is how to get to the Greek mainland as fast as possible. Do go to the Alice Springs you'll enjoy it and KosMore

Fantastic hotel *****
Was a great place to stay. NO problems with refugees anywhere in Kos. Very safe town for children etc. Elias & Maria who are the Manager & Manageress of Alice Springs Hotel & look after you so very well. My husband & I who are over 65years felt at home, this was our second time & we're going again next year. The hotel, Elias & Maria, the staff & everyone in Greece makes your holiday 1st class. Don't cancel if you have booked & if you haven't please go. There are NO REFUGEES in Cos, so ignore any rubbish you've read in the papers or heard on the television, it's a wonderful place to stay & visit.More

The Amazing Alice Springs
Elias and his beautiful family Maria, Barbra & little George make this hotel A 5* hotel the hotel staff are all so lovely and accommodating so nice and so frendley. The hotel is so very very clean and well maintained. There is every thing you need to make a great holiday. Even though mŷ family and I have stayed at some very nice hotels in our time this very nice family run hotel is made by the people who own it and run it. The food is fresh tasty and to order even if it's not on the menu. Can you find a better hotel ? Yes, for the same money? No, for a few hundred £ more PP ? No, can you find a hotel with better people ? No you will not be disappointed if you stay at this hotel, they are nearly fully booked season long 80% of Alice Springs bookings are returning guest we also will return to this hotel. It's discracefull the way the media has painted a picture about the migrants being a problem, it nearly put us off going but we are so glad we did. We did see some but it was not an issue at all it's real damaging the islands reputation and it's not fair don't listen to this hype in the media.More
