With the mountains to your back, you can gaze across the Ionian Sea from the peaceful resort of Skala. This former fishing village offers plenty to do, yet has managed to remain small and very friendly. Wander through the narrow streets admiring humble fishing cottages, enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee at one of the pavement cafés or make friends with the locals over a game of cards. The long, gently shelving beach is Skala's star attraction. This lively town attracts families and couples of all ages.
