This little hotel comes with a sea-facing pool and a secluded cove just across the way.
Billy, Barbara and the family’s Labrador, Disney, make welcoming hosts at this little hotel. Sea-facing rooms look onto the pool, where the bar serves up meals and snacks and – at night – is a great place for cocktails.
One of the reasons guests keep coming back is the cove just across the road. It’s a little rocky number, secluded and quiet, where you can leave your towel while you pop back to the hotel for lunch.

Friendly with fabulous views
A week's stay here was very pleasurable. Billy and Barbara (the owners) are warm, friendly people. There was a real mix of people from young at heart middle aged somethings like ourselves, to families. You can choose to be around the hotel and make friends or as we did, use it as a base to explore the beautiful island of Kefolonia. The little homely touches make Pelagos Bay that little bit special. Bright rooms with shutters and curtains and a beach themed decoration. Beds reasonably comfortable and amazing views over the Ioanian sea. 20 minute walk into Skala with huge choice or restaurants. Main enjoyment for us a day trip to Ithaka with Captain Vangelis travel (in Skala) snorkelling (free loan of equipment from Pelagos Bay) and scary but exhilarating drive up to St Georges castle and then salted caramel cheesecake to die for at the little restaurant nearby. Kefolonia has stolen our hearts and the Pelagos Bay hotel was a good part of it. We would definitely go back as do many others I believe. Unbelievable value for money as a late deal.More
Lovely friendly family run hotel
Had an excellent week at Pelagos Bay. Nearly all the people we spoke to there had been previously, some many times and I can see why. Chilled out, friendly, beautiful position. Large rooms with little fridge, kettle, mugs etc. for making light refreshments and sitting out overlooking sea on ones terrace/balcony. What could be better. Ate at the hotel quite a few times, all meals very good. Greek evening friendly and a lot of fun. Thank you Barbara, Billy, Yannis and all the others that make such a pleasant place to stay. We will come back!More
Clean family run hotel
We stayed for a week via Thompson holidays. The hotel is a half hour walk from the town of Skala no buses to speak of so a car is a must if you can't walk far. The taxi is 5 euro. Nice pool, large clean rooms all sea views and a nice community relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast is continental but you can pay for cooked food. Take your own towels or pay 2.50 euro .each for a week's hire. The bar is the main activity area in the evenings and the staff are very friendly. Not much in the surrounding area so if you want a bit of piece and quiet this is the place to be. Good restaurant next door.More
Holiday at Ikea!!
This hotel is spotless and very well maintained. There is an awful amount of things on walls and ledges(shells etc). The owners Billy and Barbara are on the face of it very friendly but it all seems very false. If you don't drink or eat at the hotel they really don't like it and make strange comments. You have to walk through the bar area to get to all the rooms so when you come back from being out and about if you don't stop and have a drink they make you feel that you should(not Yannis he was always very welcoming). It's all very clique.Breakfast was a joke toast jam and honey cereal and a small plate of fruit.Coffee was awful and the 'hot water' for the tea was not hot enough. You can't blame the tour operator for the breakfast as the other Thomson hotels can manage a decent breakfast for the same price.More

Stayed at Pelagos Bay Hotel with my girlfriend for a week at the end of May 2017. Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is excellent - its clean and comfortable with some good facilities, the pool was never overly busy, with loungers always available by the pool. The atmosphere at the hotel is second to none - when others say it's like being part of the family, it's true. Billy and Babara welcome you like long-lost friends, and you feel at home straight away - you can see why many people return year after year. The hotel is also in quite a sheltered location, meaning it doesn't get windy like a few of the other hotels in the area. It's a good 15 minute walk to the centre of Skala where you'll find an array of Taverna's and bars. The walk is mostly lit up at night, but there are stretches that aren't lit, so always worth having a little torch. Kefalonia is a beautiful island, and luckily there are several boat trips from Skala around the island, so you don't really need to hire a car like we did.More
