This little hotel comes with a sea-facing pool and a secluded cove just across the way.
Billy, Barbara and the family’s Labrador, Disney, make welcoming hosts at this little hotel. Sea-facing rooms look onto the pool, where the bar serves up meals and snacks and – at night – is a great place for cocktails.
One of the reasons guests keep coming back is the cove just across the road. It’s a little rocky number, secluded and quiet, where you can leave your towel while you pop back to the hotel for lunch.

Wonderful little hotel....
It was our 2nd visit to Pelagos Bay, and it was as lovely as I remembered. Billy and Barbara are wonderful hosts and are so friendly and welcoming. Yannis the barman is amazing! Lydia is very sweet too. This is a very special hotel and it really does feel like you are part of their family. There is a beautiful, quiet little cove over the road of the hotel, perfect for snorkelling or a refreshing swim. The pool is quite big with a nice pool bar selling good food & drinks and they also play soft relaxing varied music, not annoying loud rubbish! On a Saturday, Billy and Barbara hold Barbeque night, with lovely home cooked food & some Greek dancing - an amazing night not to be missed!!! Also a couple of nights a week Billy's mum cooks home made Greek food, which is delicious. Skala is about a 15 min walk, or 5 euros in a taxi, where you'll find lovely restaurants and a few bars. All in all, this is my favourite hotel and we can't wait to return to see Billy, Barbara, Disney the dog, Janguita the pet chameleon and all the baby tortoises! Thank you to all at Pelagos for making our holiday so perfect 😍😘More
From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we were treated like family. There is absolutely nothing to complain about, the room was kept spotlessly clean with regular change of bedding and towels. A very good size pool for those who prefer to spend their day there. Don't miss the BBQ night, great food and great entertainment. For us we mainly use the accommodation as a place to sleep spending our time on the beach and eating out. Due to the large amount of places to eat prices are very reasonably, the food is always good. If I had to recommend anywhere, I would say everywhere as it was all good. The beach at skala is large and safe for swimming for children, we prefer not to use sun beds and find our own spot on the beach. This does sometimes get a bit crowded, especially as more sun beds are finding their way on the beach. Sadly not everything is perfect, if you use the north end of the beach you will see a new party bar called ammos, it's so out of place in Skala and it's only busy when Slovakian coaches bring in Eastern Europeans from Poros, when that happens the music gets even louder , I use the term music loosely. We hired a motorbike and traveled around as well, the Greek drivers on this island are far safer than on other islands, though the misuse of hazard lights is worse than in England, they are used for just about anything, so travel around and enjoy. We are looking forward to returning to Pelagius Bay.More

A wonderful week - arrived as guests, left as friend.
We were met on our arrival by our hosts, Barbara & Billy Vosnakis. Pelagius Bay hotel is a family run establishment - you arrive as guests but leave as friends. The rooms were clean and serviced everyday. Continental breakfast was standard but additional items were available on request. If required excellent lunches and dinners were served but most people walked down to the many restaurants, serving a variety of food in Skala. Saturday evenings are barbecue nights at the hotel - I will not give anything away but advise that yeh event is not to be missed! Key members of staff, Yannis (Yammas/Respect), and Lydia provide wonderful front of house service for all guests, young or old. There are great little touches around the place which will bring a smile to faces. Everywhere is kept spotless with very high standards maintained. Our hosts were on hand to assist with all manner of requests including contacting a doctor for a guest at 12.30am! A last piece of input - for both the adults and children there is a wonderful surprise at the edge of the large swimming pool which will bring smiles to ones face! A great family holiday, thoroughly enjoyed. We shall revisit in the future.More
This was our 2nd visit to the Pelagos Bay hotel..the last was 9 years ago and it is still a perfect gem of a hotel! Billy and Barbara are so welcoming and friendly to everyone both- new and old visitors and nothing is too much trouble. The whole hotel is totally spotless from rooms to gardens and pool! There are tons on sunbeds..such a pleasure to get up at anytime and know you will always have a sunbed. The views from every balcony is stunning. The bar staff both day and night are amazing..Elidia during the day is so friendly and helpful and keeps smiling and relaxed at the busiest times and Yanni at night is so funny and makes fab cocktails and even when there are quiet times always makes a great atmosphere. We signed up for Greek night which was really fun...quizzes dancing great company and the next day at the pool everyone was friends..so do sign up for it. The food and and snacks served through the day are delicious..and breakfast is fine..fruit.coffee toast cereal..but you can pay and order a full English if you want and gorgeous greek yoghurt or loads of other things..which were always yummy. The give across from the hotel is a little gem and the walk into Skala is quite long and hot but taxis are 5 Euros if you're lazy like me!. We hired a car for 3 days via YOU rep Stavros which was great as we went out and about and found a fab beach near Sami called Antesamos which was so beautiful. Eating out we are at the nearby Nautilus and Old times whuch were both brilliant with amazing views and in Skala at Apostalis which did the best Souvlaki ever and the hotel with the sunflowers (can't remember the name) which was probably our best meal. Expensive but worth every penny Kefalonia is a beautiful island and we had an amazing holiday and likes loads of people you meet both the island and the hotel call you back time and again. I have read a couple of negative views on here about the hotel etc so here are the negative bits..... Oh wait there aren't any! If you are looking for a small friendly clean and relaxing hotel with lovely owners amazing staff, home cooked food and the most laid back vibe then you will be very happy at The Pelagos Bay!More

Back to beautiful Kefalonia - pelagos bay hotel is so relaxing and lovely. All the rooms have the perfect sea view. The rooms smell fresh and clean, the food is good and Billy & Barbara are so very welcoming. For a family holiday it's perfect. The taxis into Skala are still only 5 euros after 7 yrs! It's a 5 min journey but worth it for the range of restaurants.More
