Hotel Pelagos Bay

This little hotel comes with a sea-facing pool and a secluded cove just across the way.

Billy, Barbara and the family’s Labrador, Disney, make welcoming hosts at this little hotel. Sea-facing rooms look onto the pool, where the bar serves up meals and snacks and – at night – is a great place for cocktails.

One of the reasons guests keep coming back is the cove just across the road. It’s a little rocky number, secluded and quiet, where you can leave your towel while you pop back to the hotel for lunch.

Lovely hotel!

We spent a week at this hotel and loved every minute of it! It is clean and comfortable and the staff Yannis at the bar in the evening and Athina who is around all day serving drinks and taking lunch orders are so friendly The rooms have a beautiful view of the sea and the pool area is very quiet with plenty of sun beds We will definitely return next year for 2 weeks!!More

annaWorcestershire,

More than a holiday

Stayed here for a week with my husband and son, 18 and daughter, 10 at the end of May to attend my brothers wedding across the road. Lovely warm welcome from Billy and Barbara on arrival, quick check in and bags taken to our rooms. We had a family room and my son has a smaller room but both were great, spotlessly clean and comfy beds, plenty of storage and a very useful kitchenette with fridge and a kettle. Balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. Wonderful bar and friendly staff, we ate from the bar menu most days, plenty of choice and well priced and very tasty. We had a lot of family in the area for the wedding and they were made welcome to hang out here every day even though they weren't staying, great bbq and Greek dancing night, lots of fun. If I was to find any fault, it would be that the towels could be changed more often, but other than that, loved our stay here and definitely want to come back. Kefalonia a beautiful place and need to explore the island even more!More

Friendly Atmosphere with Fantastic Sea Views

We had a wonderful holiday staying at Pelagos Bay. We will most certainly be coming back to stay here again. The owners Barbra and Billy and all the staff at the hotel were so kind and friendly. Rooms were kept very clean and all seemed to have a beautiful sea view. The bar was lively and fun and nicely at a distance from the rooms so didn't keep us awake if we went to bed early. The pool was nice and big and there was plenty of beds to relax in the sun if you didn't fancy a walk to the beach. I really enjoyed watching the little tortoises which live in the garden and the little chameleon in the reception area who was so very cute. There is a nice little cove opposite the hotel where we went snorkeling each morning. There is another beach a few minutes walk down the road which had loungers. It is around a 10 min walk to the local market and Skala where most of the restaurants and bars are, however it is such a beautiful scenic walk we didn't mind. The best restaurant we found in Skala happened to be 'Old Times' which is situated right next to the hotel. I couldn't recommend this hotel any more, can't wait to go back!More

Ticked every box ;-)

We have just spent the last 2 weeks here and we have loved every minute. The hotel is in a great location opposite a private cove and we enjoyed swimming down there every morning. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the owners Billy and Barbara really take pride in the place. The pool, the rooms and grounds are all very well looked after, and so are the tortoises, gecko and dog. We rarely return to the same place twice but this has ticked all the boxes and we will be returning. It is a quiet hotel, and has some amazing views. They provide snorkels, flippers and all the beach equipment you need (just left of the main entrance) for use in the cove for free. You can also hire the kayak or surfboard at reception, and its only 20 euros for 2 hours, which we found to be plenty time to explore up and down the coast. There are two restaurants close by which are both great. Old Times and Nautilus. The super market is about ten minutes away and the main resort is twenty minutes walk, or the taxi is only 5 euros. There is also a bus that runs but we didn't use it. The hotel has good WiFi connection around the pool and bar areas and they also have a computer in reception you can use. Its 30 euros for the safe for 2 weeks and the air con is free :-) We cant wait to get back there and keep on chilling out, yammas.More

relaxed friendly and Disney is great

Excellent, friendly family run hotel. Felt very welcome. Great barman Yannis who was always there to make great cocktails. The barbeque night was ace :- great food music dance and a quiz. Pool great size and plenty of sunbeds if you want them, Very beautiful setting with all the wildlife in the hotel grounds and flowers flowers flowers. Great when we arrived our cases were taken to our rooms. All have lovely views of the sea. The rooms are much bigger I am told than rooms normally found in Greece. The shower is so powerful it can't drain fast enough. Kettle and small fridge in the room. Don't take mugs with you . two full size mugs in the room. I do not normally go back to a hotel but I will be looking again at this in the future. Billy and Barbara the owners are fab. Do try Billys mums meals they are ace. Thanks again for making us feel very welcome . I am normally a cruiseaholic. Rooms were cleaned each day by fast cleaners. It was spotless. sheets and towels changed twice I think in the week. Very comfortable welcoming hotel. Try Pines in the village for food and the fish place just down from the hotel . Looks like a boat:- sells great variety on menu...can have other stuff apart from fish. Taxis into town are 5 euros and yannis orders them they arrive 5 mins later. Thank you Marie and BobMore
