A traditional Greek property in a beachfront spot, the Hotel Paspalis makes for a relaxing retreat.
Pulled right up against a sandy beach, the Hotel Paspalis couldn’t get much closer to the shore. What’s more, it’s backed by rugged, tree-stacked hillsides so there’s a really peaceful vibe.
Set among lawns, pine trees and climbing vines, the Hotel Paspalis is every inch the good-looking hideaway. There's a big pool in the gardens and a taverna serving fresh seafood and Greek dishes.

Arrived here last day in August was took to our room by Denise a lovely lady who explained things to us. We were in room 17 a ground floor gable end with a little court yard with a hedge between us and room 16 and a wall with a gate on the other sides. We loved it and played cards in the courtyard after a hard day around the pool and it was so peaceful... The room itself was quite large with a double bed with side cabinets and a wardrobe with plenty hangers, a dressing table with a large mirror and a chair also a small fridge. The bathroom was a shower with a plastic sliding door with a basic shower but good enough power and hot water. A bar of soap was provided. Towels were changed every 3 days and bins emptied everyday usually between 11.30 and 1.30.One of the lights in our room wouldn't work and the outside light too I mentioned it to Denise and it was sorted within a couple of hours. The pool area was clean and bright ample sun beds and a grassy area between the pool and the bar area with the restrant at the front where we had a meal one our first evening and it was very nice. Breakfast was better than I expected consisting of ham, cheese, yogurts, jams, honey and boiled/scrambled eggs that were really nice. I was a great fan of the brown bread and was pleased to see the servinging lady cut the bread so less people were messing with it. A machine did coffees/water for tea etc an there was a juice machine also fresh melon and oranges... The hotel has a fab location over a road and your on the beach. Its a nice walk to the village passing other hotels/restaurants on the way. The staff work hard here and Nikos the owner always had a smile for us...the bar girl was very nice as she served us each evening before we went out... We met some lovely people and loved our stay...hope to come back.More
Tradional family run hotel
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. We had a sea facing room looking over the swimming pool so the view from the balcony was lovely. A big draw for us was the taverna which is part of the hotel, enjoyed each meal we had there and the terrace area is shaded, a great spot for a drink. All the hotel staff were very friendly and service was good. The room and grounds were spotless and we had frequent towel and linen changes. It's about a 10 minute walk to the edge of the village. You walk along the flat, following the coast and there are a few bars and restaurants along the way. The village itself is mostly strung along a steep street. It doesn't cause any problem for most people but might be something for people with any type of mobility issue to think about.More

Lovely holiday,not so good departure.
We've had a thoroughly great time at Paspalis for the last fortnight on half board. Rooms although basic clean and adequate. Toppers on bed after first night helped very hard beds. The staff in the restaurant overlooking the beach went out of their way to make every evening special. Food was gorgeous. Our only disappointment was on not being able to keep our room for a late checkout I was told by the receptionist that we could shower by the pool (in front of all the residents on their sun beds) and get changed in the toilet in reception. A bit of a let down to what has been a lovely holiday. J PettmanMore
BACK AGAIN FOR MORE EXCELLENT SERVICE & COMFORT
So, we're back again this year and quite simply it so much a pleasure to be back with the staff and management who are always here to look after us as always. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and then the breakfasts are always adequate with a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled egg, cheese, meats, local bread, fruit juices, teas and coffees etc etc., these items are inclusive in the price of accommodation. Extra breakfasts such as Full English are an extra cost for about 4e. The bar area is always so very clean with a very good range of beers and spirits. Wi Fi is free, however, it is not all that strong in certain areas in all of the site. Other extras are a safe and air conditioning in certain circumstances.More
Very nice hotel !!!
We booked a basic room through booking.com and rewarded at our arrival with a better room just because she was free, no extra charges. The room is a 4* hotel room, at least for me. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed. I liked very much the garden that Paspalis Hotel has with lots of trees and plants. Very nice greek taverna with good food and good prices, very close supermarket, atm and the beach is just across the street. The breakfast is basic but with good food. One of the best places to stay in Skala and Skala is one of the best places to stay in Kefalonia !!!More
