Just a 5-minute stroll away from the heart of Skala, this place offers a peaceful base close to the beach.
This good-looking retreat is wrapped up in peach-coloured walls, shuttered windows, and a terracotta roof. It’s got a bit of a private feel, thanks to the ring of flowering plants sheltering the whole place.
Inside, décor is on the simple side – think tiled floors, cream walls, and wooden furniture. A kitchenette is kitted out with basics like a cooking hob and a fridge. Plus, a balcony or terrace with sea or countryside views comes as standard.
Just a 5-minute wander away is Skala’s wide sand and shingle beach. Meanwhile, in town, narrow streets, traditional tavernas, and pavement cafés are the theme. And with a set of wheels, the pretty village of Katelios is only 10 minutes away.

Great stay in well cared for accomodation
We stayed at Dionysios studios during July 2015. We found the accommodation to be of a good standard, with all that you would expect from studio type of accommodation. The studios and grounds/gardens were very well maintained and cleaning was great. Usual add on services were available, such as air conditioning and safety deposit boxes. Air Con â¬35 for a week, which was definitely required with temps hitting 39 degrees! On our last day our return to the airport was scheduled for 5pm so we asked and were given another room that we could use until 5pm that day so we could have a day at the beach, and then get changed and shower before heading home - this made for a great relaxing last day and a good end to our holiday. Just â¬20 for the late checkout. The accommodation was in a great location, within a couple of minute walk of the Main Street in Skala. We loved the resort and there were lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. The beach was great, with plenty of sun beds available for hire and the reasonable price of â¬6 per day for 2 sun beds and umbrella. Overall we thought that Skala and the island of Kefalonia were one of our favourite Greek Islands and would definitely return in future.More

Let down by the air con
I am reposting a review I put on a few days ago so I can respond to owners response of my review.(the only way I could respond was to remove my review and repost) Apartments were just as we expected dated and basic but they were well kept ,clean and in good location. The big disappointment was the air con which seemed to be fixed on 25 which was not cool enough especially sleeping and for my girlfriend trying to put make up on and using hair dryer. I did speak to the owner about the air con his English wasn't great (my Greek is terrible) But the understanding I got was it was set at 25 so it was a waste of 35 euro. With proper air con I would have scored it 4. This was the owners response to my post. WHEN YOU LEFT THE STUDIO I FOUND REMOTE CONTROL IN HEAT POSITION NOT COOL IF IT WAS MODE IN COOL AND FAN SPEED IN HIGH POWER WOULDNT BE A PROBLEM I AM SORRY FOR THAT. DENNIS THE OWNER. My response to that is that I know how to use air con it was set cool with symbol similar to this * I did try it in other mode to try to change the temp but temp control was stuck on 25 it would not go up or down in any mode if it was on heat it would have blown hot air. The facts are all the buttons on the control worked apart from the temp control. In hindsight I should have persisted with my complaint. Another trivial matter which I was not going to mention was the fridge our drinks were not chilled enough so we altered the fridge which helped, but for 3 or 4 days they kept changing control so things were not as chilled we kept changing it back! I would recommend anyone using air con to get a demonstration of how it works from owner.More

Perfect place to stay right in the village
Stayed here for a week with my husband. Greeted by a lovely man called Dennis and shown to our studio. Stayed in room 15, very clean, pretty basic but don't need to cook on holiday Had kettle, sandwich toaster and a fridge, and little portable hob. Plenty of hangers and good drawer space. This is the first place I've ever stayed without a pool.....it was so peaceful. Beach is 5 mins away and village centre the same. The garden around the studio's are so well cared for. You will always see Dennis around taking great pride in his property and surroundings, nothing is too much trouble. Definitely stay again while in beautiful skala.More
Peaceful, good value studios
Stayed at Dionysios studios in August and found them to be in a great location just 5 minutes walk from all the tavernas, shops and beach. Despite being so close to all of this it is very peaceful here. The studios are kept very clean with towels and sheets changed every couple of days. Facilities include a fridge, kettle, mini grill, toaster, tv, air con and plenty of crockery and utensils. There is a small balcony where you can sit and relax with a small washing line. The owner Dennis is extremely friendly and helpful. He was always on hand looking after the pretty garden around the apartment block. He kindly arranged for us to have a studio available for us as we wanted a late checkout. We had a very relaxing, chilled out holiday here and these studios ticked all the right boxes for us. I would definitely return if I came back to Skala.More

Good budget accommodation in a quiet spot.
We booked a late deal here as it was from our local airport and excellently priced. The apartment is on the edge of town, so if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, it's just right. The room was reasonably sized - if a bit dated - and as the apartments are set way back from the sea there isn't really much of a view. It was very clean, has a small kitchen with all you need, and a bathroom that was just a bit too compact, we thought. You need to pay for a safe key (hadn't done that for a few years) and also for the aircon control. The manager is a really nice, friendly man, who went out of his way to do us a favour. There are little balconies and guests really seemed to be enjoying the place - with quite a few repeat visitors. So, in summary, it's very reasonable, fairly basic, budget accommodation in a quiet and peaceful spot.More
