Don't let the reviews about Elisabeth put you off! These apartments are beautiful! The location is fantastic, views are great, and the rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. In fact the whole place is spotless. Elisabeth is a nice lady who works very hard to keep these apartments at such a high standard. Yes, there are some rules but nothing too unusual. Perhaps if you have children who want to play in the pool you may be a bit restricted but we didn't have any problems. The bar area is nice and the bbq Elisabeth puts on for Saturday night was very good. We had a lovely time with the other guests and chatting with Elisabeth and her friends. We would definitely stay here again. We looked at a few other places in Skala and nothing else seemed to come close! Great holiday all round! More
BEAUTIFUL PLACE BUT STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE
Don't stay here if you have children, don't stay here is you want to relax , don't stay here if you don't want to regularly use the bar. These are some of the types of things that would upset Elisabeth. She is very clicky and unprofessional business person. Whilst respectful people understand that rules must exist and adhere to them, there is a limit and rules only apply to who Elizabeth does not click with. There were a lot of double standards during our stay. She was often rude to people and basically put you on edge. She starts off as though she is going to a kind helpful person, but this will change if you do not buy from her overinflated prices at the bar. She will not allow you your own water by the pool and will walk round pointing this out to you. I felt sorry for several family's during our stay, in particular a young daughter got told off for using an inflatable. The family were a lovely quiet family and she was rude to them and embarrassed them in front of other people. The rep was called and he was even squirming, but had to continue to be professional. Other families did not like to complain to the rep because of the possible repercussions and how their stay could be made worse. This review acts as a warning to others. Scala is a beautiful place and the apartments are extremely clean and well maintained and close to all amenities. It's just a shame they are being run by someone as rude and condescending.More
just returned from a fortnights holiday at the andreas studios and was impressed by the fantastic pool, and the cleanliness of the whole site. Elisabeth was a fantastic hostess, and nothing was too much trouble, she even sorted out our taxi transfer for us when thomsons obviously don't read their paperwork. If your going go to the Saturday night bbq - the food is delicious and it is a good way to get to know people. Elisabeth puts on a really good night and you get the chance to swim by moonlight.More

outstanding accommodation, but...
We stayed here last year, and confirm that the standard of accommodation, and the cleanliness, has not changed. In fact I suspect you would be hard pressed to find better quality studios/apartments on the island, for a similar price. The location, as mentioned previously, involves a steepish climb up from the shops and beach, but you are then rewarded with the great views that the rooms have to offer. However, we would not be returning unless we see the sign "under new ownership" appearing. Looking through the many reviews it is clear that Elisabeth divides opinion, between those who love her, and those who are unfortunate enough to cross her. Last year we fell between those views, but this year we slipped into the latter. Upon seeing us for the first time this year her greeting was not "welcome back" but "move those chairs, they should not be there!". As mentioned in my review last year, none of the 4 of us in our group are keen on BBQs, and we are not keen on late night drinking, so the 10.30pm bar get together is not one we join. As a result we were ignored on more than one occasion when we met Elisabeth, and our friendly greeting fell on stony ground. Ironically, the only time we were spoken to by her was when we were waiting for the transfer bus back to the airport, when she had to walk by us to check our apartments. We also were witness to a new couple, presumably unaware of the correct rules around the pool, who moved the umbrella (probably about 2-3 metres) and were shouted at from the other side of the pool. I am delighted that the majority find Elisabeth charming, and return each year, because the studios, and the incredibly hard working Fortini, deserve this. We will look elsewhere, in the hope of being made welcome!More
Andreas Appartments..The best you can get!
Have been coming here for 15 years and consider it home from home. Many guests return every year and Elisabeth knows all your needs from the meticulous dairy she keeps (extra pillows, towels and food/drinks you like). This year between 18th to 2nd July was no exception the bbq's were great fun and well attended. The pool was always happy, clean and a joy to use (didn't see any inflatables as previously inferred and certainly no intervention from Ryan the Rep.) I have experienced T.A. many times and believe other operators post bad reviews in an attempt to smear the good quality accommodations' where they are not doing too well. This review is honest and sincere, I am not part of any clique (or as some numpty said "click") fawning to the owner!More
