Too long to wait....
Think i might have to pay a visit earlier this year to my favourite holiday destination, July and September are just to far away!! Its a shame that there has been some negative comments on this blog as I truly don't understand where some people are coming from..comments such as 'dated' really?? have you been to Greece before?? do you know what star accommodation you are staying in? if you answer yes to both then you seriously need to think what you are writing how can you say that Andreas Studios is dated?? its beautiful stunning surroundings, immaculately clean has all the facilities that you need and oh so beautiful and quiet. Elizabeth is a fantastic host warm caring and generous. She will always go the extra mile for her guests. Guys if you want 5 star accommodation with no atmosphere and you are just a number then this place is not the one for you!! If you want 5 star accommodation for 3 star prices you are made to feel welcome dont feel like a number then this place is definitely for you!! If you like a nice relaxing quiet holiday where the owner takes pride in her surroundings and invites you into her own home the please don't be distracted and put off by the negative comments on this blog. See you very soon Andreas Studios and ApartmentsMore

Nice but dated
Just returned from a week at Andreas the setting is nice unfortunately the studio we stayed were dated the beds seemed like they had come from a youth hostel .We even had a bin liner taped to the door acting as a curtain don't get me wrong they're very clean it's quite the pool is excellent just needs an injection of cash and people would be banging the doors down to stay here. Would go back to skala again beautiful place .More

We stayed at these apartments for the first time this year and I really don't understand why everyone says the proprietor Elisabeth is very nice and welcoming. I think this is only the case if you spend lots of money at the bar and attend the weekly barbeque. The staff write down everything you get from the bar. The prices are hugely inflated, â¬2.50 for a can of local lemonade. The laminated rules are hilarious and will take ages to read as there are so many of them. I wouldn't advise taking children here, Elisabeth doesn't like them to play in the pool only swim lengths. No inflatables are allowed but if you are one of her above favourites (that spend lots at the bar) she will throw them a ball to use in the pool. Whilst we were there a child hurt themselves in the pool and she went beserk. She was very rude to the guests concerned and I felt sorry for the Thomson Rep who was there at the time as she was extremely loud, shouting at him trying to tell him how to do his job! We found out later that she even called the doctor to examine the child even though their parent had said they didn't want one! Don't get me wrong, these apartments are spotlessly clean and have a great view. (There is a very steep hill to climb to get there from the centre of Skala, known as cardiac hill, no good if you have mobility problems or a bad heart!) It is just spoilt by a very rude, aggressive woman who will only speak to you if your face fits. On our departure day Elisabeth even sent her cleaner down with a phone so she could say goodbye to one of her 'favourite' couples before the transfer coach came. Obviously the rest of us weren't worthy of a goodbye from her! Skala is a beautiful place and I will definitely return but I would never stay here again.More

Another Fab holiday with Elisabeth at Andreas
We have stayed in Skala five times now. Elisabeth goes out of her way to make our holidays extra special. The accommodation is spacious and immaculately clean, everyone is friendly and helpful. The apartments are well placed, 15 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes walk from the resort centre. Peaceful and with stunning views from all sides but just a short walk from bars and tavernas. We love to stay by the poolside during the day. The pool is kept spotlessly clean and a pleasure to take a dip in. Refreshments are available from the bar area, with meals and snacks freshly made to order, our 14 year old son loves Elisabeth's milk-shakes and her toasted sandwiches, there's something for all tastes including lovely salads. BBQ night is a must, traditional Greek cuisine, hearing about everyone's adventures, and a Mai Tai cocktail or two! We would like to thank Elisabeth, her family and staff for another lovely holiday and happily recommend Andreas Studios and Apartments to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. We're looking forward to our next stay with Elisabeth.More

We have just returned from a family holiday in Skala where we stayed at the Andreas Apartments. We had two studios, one for my husband and myself and one for our two sons. Both studios were a good size, well equipped, comfortable and immaculately clean. Our studio had fantastic views of the countryside and the sea (room122) and a good sized balcony which was big enough for all four of us to sit around the table comfortably. Our sons' studio had beautiful mountain views. The swimming pool, and indeed whole complex, is kept immaculately clean and extremely well looked after. There are ample sunbeds, umbreIlas and tables around the pool and I can honestly say that I have never enjoyed sunbathing and swimming on holiday so much. Elisabeth runs the complex brilliantly and she is extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. Do not be put off visiting these apartments by a few negative reviews about the rules she has in place. They are there to ensure that everyone enjoys their holiday in a safe and peaceful setting. We would definately return to these apartments.More
