Villa Dimitra stands above a forest of eucalyptus trees which carpets the hillside as it drops towards the sea. From this lofty position, the villa affords a spectacular seaview, best savoured from the balcony with a long cool drink, watching the sun begin to sink into the Ionian Sea.
The lemon coloured exterior and green shutters stand out against the backdrop of clear blue skies and surrounding woodland. The terracotta tiled floors and whitewashed walls create a cool calming retreat from the heat of the Ionian sun and the furniture is a mixture of traditional and contemporary styles.
To the front of the villa is the private pool and patio terrace with marble and wrought-iron dining furniture in which to relax. For the more energetic, to the rear of the property is a small road offering some pleasant walks, with the village of Alaties about 30 minutes away by foot. Guests can relax in the beachside taverna filled with welcoming locals, or simply retire to the peace and quiet of the villa to admire the stunning sunsets.
