Villa Athina

Villa Athina is located in the sleepy little hamlet of Chalikeri close to Fiskardo, atop a hill of eucalyptus trees and olive groves. Just a short drive away is the harbour in Fiskardo, where pastel-coloured Venetian buildings watch over the local fishermen preparing their nets for the next catch. The only town not to have been devastated by the earthquake in 1953, Fiskardo has retained much of its original architecture. It is now a bustling fishing village with an 'L' shaped waterfront, lined with shaded tavernas.

Although newly built, Villa Athina has a certain rustic charm. The stone walls have a rosy pink tinge, the floors are tiled, the ceilings are wooden beamed, and furniture, although traditional in style, has a contemporary twist; all creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. To the front of the villa is a private pool and a partly-shaded terrace, with access via double doors, from both the bedrooms and living room. The perfect place to recline in the marble and wrought-iron patio furniture, whilst appreciating the truly magnificent seaviews and sunsets which this property enjoys.
