You'll find the same restful ambience throughout the rest of the hotel. You'll find a charming restaurant looking out over the grounds which serves buffet breakfasts and dinner. And a laid-back lounge bar with plenty of sofas where you can relax with a drink. There's even a Playstation corner which is a bit hit with the kids. Step outside and all is quiet on the pool front. Landscaped gardens greet you – swishing with big shady trees. Taking pride of place out here is the generous-sized pool, which is sunk into a smart sun terrace. There's also a bar where you can order snacks and icy drinks. And if you're traveling with little ones, there's a separate children's pool and playground.

We visited the halkidiki palace hotel in august 2007. The hotel itself was immaculate as were the hotel rooms the staff were brilliant always pleasant and there to offer help. We went bed and breakfast but on one occasion we decided to stay at the hotel... more on this review
