You get the best of both worlds at the Mika Apartments – they’re set on a sleepy hillside, but lively Hersonissos is just 10 minutes’ drive away.
It’s a tale of two halves at these apartments. They might have a low-key village postcode, but it’s only a short taxi ride into Hersonissos if you want to pick up the pace in the town’s bars and clubs.
The décor here goes classic Greek, thanks to cool white rooms, blue woodwork, and mosaic-edged pools. Speaking of the pools, there are two of them, along with a couple of spots to have a drink in.
a group of us came on holidays to these villas. they were clean and basic, just what we expected as what we paid for. the bar and staff was amazing, memories we will all never forget!! a BIG hill down to town, easy to walk down, a hard to get back up at the end of the night ;)More
Perfect for Us
I stay in the Mika Villas with 16 of my friends from 19th July - August 2nd , all I have to say it was almost perfect. We were greeted with a warm embrace and treated so well for the whole holiday which often doesn't happen when travelling in large groups of young people ! The hotel staff would never complain to order us food / taxis . Special thanks to barman George , really made our stay enjoyable , also a huge thanks to our Thompson rep Nicole , she was so helpful a credit to the hotel and Thompson ! All in all I would reccommend to young Irish visitors , lastly thanks to Marios the security guard , strict but fun ! THANK YOU MIKA FOR A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY!More
Awful. Stay away
stayed here in June. Only stayed for one night as couldn't stand it. Lost our money on the booking. As refused to reimburse us But holidays are for enjoying!!! The room was something from the 1950's. The shower was grubby and the water just dribbled out. The cooker top had no knobs on it. So another makeshift one was placed on top and was wobbly. The view outside our bedroom was of a half built building and it was a communial balcony and when you sat down you could only see a wall no view. We were woken up in the early hours of the morning by a dog barking continuously and then a cockerel which can't be helped. The bar was hardly manned during the day and it did not appear to have any snacks available and no atmosphere. Stay awayMore

Don't believe all the bad reviews, it's not the bad!
i stayed here first week in June with my friend, were both 28. Yes this area is known for having a younger crowd but we had no problems. The room itself ok could have a little work done on it but Crete has so much to offer why would you be staying in your room all the time anyway!! The rooms are Clean and most importantly you feel safe. I would be fussy enough when it comes to where i stay as i work in the hotel industry but the only thing negative i have to say is that the Studio rooms are a little dated and basic but people in the one bedrooms had no complaints at all!! The small pool is great so chilling out by and the staff you cannot fault!! Very friendly and polite. The people in Crete and lovely and make you feel very welcome and they speak Irish to you alot!! Linchios Restaurant is just around the corner and Sean as he likes to be called is very friendly and entertaining. Everyone wants to get to know you. Nostos is an irish bar up the hill in Piskopiano i highly recommend it! they make everyone feel very welcome. i also recommend you walk down the town to the Astra Villa's food is also fav and Manos down in hersonsis itself are fab!! Quad bikes are great fun just be careful as you would be at home.. go enjoy the Mika Villas!More
