top holiday !
We spent one week all inclusive at this hotel early May. It was our first stay here, but it will not be the last. We were looking for a quiet place, with excellent food and good service. We got it all. If you want disco music or parties all the time this is not the hotel to go to. But we had an amazing stay, we were really impressed by the quality of the building, the excellence of the service and their continuous friendly approach of their guests. They would do anything to keep you happy. We arrived early, at 1 pm instead of midnight, but this posed no problem at all. In no time we checked in and were brought to our hotel room, which was, as requested, quiet. Our special requests for another pillow and a simple bedsheets were immediately taken care of. The lady responsible for cleaning the room and taking care of the linen was absolutely top ! Always a smile, always our room perfectly clean. The sunbeds pose no problem. No need to "reserve" them, there is plenty of sunbeds wherever you want to sit. There are many British people at this hotel, and we had some nice contacts with them. So happy to be able to talk English with English people ! They also make an effort to dressing up in the evening, which is a very nice thing. Men should wear long trousers, shorts are not allowed for dinner. We had the opportunity to have a gala night on Monday evening. This was super, the personnel had spared no effort to make everything nice and classy. The food : this was just marvellous. The buffet in the morning and evening was very well cared for. There was always enough food, though the quantities in the buffet were small, but the personnel always completed, so everything was fresh and warm. At lunch there was a smaller buffet for the all inclusive (and the others, who were charged when not in the all inclusive system) but there was certainly enough choice. I am very fond of pineapple, and to my surprise we had fresh pineapple every day (even several times a day !). The Italian restaurant (Al Fresco) was also very good, we tried it one evening. We are used to the excellence of our Italian restaurant at our home place, but at the Kalliston the quality was absolutely top. Everything is freshly prepared by the chef. Congrats to all of them. For our holidays we love the all inclusive formula because this means no fuss with paperwork so in the beginning we were a bit surprised that for each drink/meal you had to give your room number. It was sometimes a bit complicated for the personnel, but we had no issues at all. The day of departure you must leave your room at 11 am, but if you have a late flight like we had, you can reserve a complimentary room to shower and change. The reservation is 30 minutes, free of charge, but make it some time in advance, because it seems very popular. A vacation to remember, certainly. We do hope to go back ! Thanks to everybody : the gym/yoga team Tania and Andrew (liked his Birmingham accent), the housekeeping lady (did not catch her name unfortunately), the General Manager (he has a wonderful hotel and he is always checking if everybody is happy), the waitresses at the lobby bar... I am sure I forget a lot of people. Bravo !More
Wonderful Hotel and very special staff.
From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to have a great holiday. We choose a private pool room with sea view and for us it was well worth the price. The room although private pool room is not so private as people pass all the time. The sea view however makes up for this. The food ( all inclusive )was very good. We did very little other than relax at the hotel as this is what we wanted. I had a health scare on our 8th day and Eirini Pologiorgaki was really lovely even coming round to our room at almost midnight . A staff member also called me next morning. Because of the health problem we had to cut short our holiday by 4 days as I thought it was preferable to get home whilst I was ok. Once again Erini was so nice. We truly enjoyed this hotel and after being there just a few days we booked again for next May. If I had one minor criticism it would be the shower over the bath, it was really difficult for me to get in too with the fixed glass screen. The shower was excellent once in the bath. The staff were wonderful, and in my opinion this comes from the top. They are extremely well trained . professional and seem to really care. Thank you all the staff at Kalliston especially Eirini Pologiorgaki .More
Out of this world!! 5*****
Upon arrival you are greeted by a manager, she shook all our hands and our luggage was taken off us ready to be taken up to our rooms. We were greeted with champagne, snacks and a refreshing cold towel. We were given a package of information about the hotel and by the time we had finished our drinks, been given our room keys and taken to our rooms our luggage was already in there!! The service from the very start was absolutely exceptional. As there were 12 of us but some with different room types, Maria - one of the managers ensured that we were all either next to each other or nearby. My brother and his wife had already been at the hotel for a week with a swim up room so 2 other couples were put along side my brothers room. The other rooms were sea view and 2 of those were put together in the main section of the hotel. She went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our rooms. There are a variety of activities on during the week which were so much fun. From aquafit to French boules, you name it and it was there. As there were quite a few of us here we played all of the team games and the sport and fitness staff were great at setting it all up and getting involved playing as well. The food and drink was absolutely outstanding and I would highly recommend going all inclusive. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant where you're greeted as soon as you reach the door, one gentlemen in particular was incredible at remembering who you were every morning and new where you liked to sit. They ask you if you'd prefer to sit inside or outside under shade or in the sun and you're given the morning news to read. Lunch is served in the Greek restaurant where you can also sit inside or outside and it overlooks the beach, the atmosphere is beautiful. They serve amazing gyros meat at lunch with pitta bread and tzatiki which I highly recommend. There were different themes going on throughout the week for dinner, we had a sunset dinner, Greek dinner and black and white night for the gala dinner on the Monday evening. The gala dinner in particular was so much fun as the managers make speeches in the main lobby bar to thank everyone for the past week, the managers mention their staff names which gave us all the opportunity to clap them and thank them for their impeccable service during our stay. The managers then individually come round to all guests and have a chat for a few minutes, they really showed that they care about everyone there. The Monday gala night was a great final night for us. The food everyday was absolutely delicious, there is such a variety that there is something for everyone. On the all inclusive you also get to go to the Greek al a carte restaurant and Italian a la carte restaurant once each in the week for free. Both al a cartes were amazing, highly recommend having the ravioli for main course in the Italian restaurant. There are also further food options throughout the day, if you don't wish to go to breakfast in the morning they do a continental breakfast from 11 and they also have baguettes at the beach bar if you'd prefer that to the buffet lunch. Highly recommend having an a la carte meal down on the beach. You book it through the guest relations lady, you get to choose from a variety of set menus and the cheapest is 80 euros per person so it is slightly expensive but so worth it. If you're all inclusive you don't have to worry about buying any drinks on top of the food. The atmosphere and the personal waitress made the evening absolutely incredible. The food was amazing, we had the set menu with shrimps to start, risotto for seconds, veal for main and a strawberry soup with pistachio ice cream for dessert. As you have a personal waitress she also takes pictures of you at the meal as you wouldn't want to miss a photo opportunity sat under the beautiful white gazebo and the sun setting in the background. Afterwards we popped back to the room and we had rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed, this was included in the meal and was such a nice touch! During the day we also liked sitting at the Pool bar. Nikos is a great barman and he made us different variations of cocktails on request. The staff in particular that shone for us during the day at the beach bar throughout the week was Dimitris, Bernard & Alex. One evening there was a DJ down at the beach bar which gave everyone the chance to get up and dance, my family and myself had such an amazing night that we didn't want the bar to close so Dimitris kept it open 2 hours later just for us. Absolutely incredible evening and that was all thanks to Dimitris! However I would say that they should use the beach bar more often in the evenings and keep it open for later, it's a beautiful atmosphere but not utilised in the evenings as much as it could be. The main bar is nice for the evenings but I recommend sitting outside for a much better atmosphere. Overall the staff couldn't have been more attentive and caring. We had all our hands shaken by the managers as we got onto the coach to leave and even some hugs too. They even waved us off as we drove down the road! I'd give this hotel & the staff 10 stars if I could, best place my family and I have ever stayed. Even though the hotel is mainly for 'couples', they were always changing things around for us at dinner so that we could sit together in the main buffet restaurant and like I mentioned before they put a lot of rooms next to each other. Will most definitely love to return here!!! More

Amazing service !
We have just returned from a weeks holiday to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary and we were absolutely overwhelmed with the level of service the staff provide at this hotel, from the moment you arrive to leaving on the coach they can't do enough to help and they are all so lovely and friendly. The hotel and facilities are lovely but what really made it special was the staff. Thank you!! More
