All inclusive holidays to Crete – your top 5
White beaches, fun–packed waterparks and ancient history
Choose an All inclusive holiday to Crete and you'll have all your big costs covered upfront. The Blue Flag beaches, romantic ruins and amped–up nights out won't break the bank, either...
Why you should visit Crete
With our All inclusive holidays to Crete, your flights, meals and hotel are paid for. So you can forget about racking up the expenses and get on board with sandy beaches, big–name sights and ramped up nights. Here are our top 5 Crete experiences...
- Beach, beach and more beach
There are fantastic beaches at Agioi Apostoli and Gerani – great for classic bucket–and–spade fun. Over in Malia, the beach is lively day and night, with banana boats, beach volleyball and, later on, dancing on the sand. For a really quiet stretch to relax on, pack a picnic and head for Maleme Beach.
- Retail therapy
There's a wide choice of shopping destinations on the island. Mousouron Street in Chania is the place to go for local specialities like thyme honey, olive oil and bottles of raki. Heraklion deals in chic boutiques – at the very top of the scale, seek out its seriously upmarket jewellery shops on Agias Parakevis.
- Watersports and waterslides
Crete is big on waterparks, but the king of the white–knuckle waterslide has to be Watercity in the Anapolis Hills. Meanwhile, at the beaches of Kokkini Hani and Malia, you'll find pedalos, snorkelling, PADI scuba–diving schools and jet–skis on offer.
- Malia nights out
When it comes to nights out, Malia is a pretty big deal. The decks here have hosted names like Judge Jules, N–Dubz and Lisa Maffia. In fact, Malia is fast becoming one of the biggest party players on the Med. Its main strip is chock–a–block with clubs, bars and pubs that hold their own against Ibiza and Ayia Napa. And here, the clubs won't charge you to get in.
- Rethymnon old town
Whitewashed houses on winding streets, colourful shutters, stone steps and arched doorways... the old town in Rethymnon serves up a chilled–out slice of traditional Crete. Check out the Fortezza, the world's biggest Venetian castle, or the fairy–lit Venetian harbour.
