With 5 outdoor pools, 5 restaurants and 2 private coves, the numbers really add up at this whitewashed hotel.
At this bumper hotel, whitewashed buildings step down through bougainvillea-filled gardens towards 2 private coves. On the way, there’s a selection box of swimming pools.
This place doesn’t stint on anything. For a start, it’s got 5 restaurants. Then there’s the huge checklist of bars. And activity-wise, the hotel lays on everything from archery to canoeing.

Didn't want to come home
We have just returned from our 1st trip to this hotel and we will be returning again. We were only a small group of myself, my wife and 7 year old daughter. We always expect to go out away from the hotel for day trips even when we are all inclusive but at this hotel there was no need. The selection of pools, places to eat, sports, activities and entertainment both thought the day and into the night was great. The animation team was exceptional, they were very helpful, great fun and they all spoke a variety of different languages to accommodate a range of nationalities. all the hotel staff were very friendly and always smiling and always made time for the guests. I would like to make special note of Daniela who worked tirelessly at the main pool bar, we spent sometime everyday at the main pool and Daniela was really friendly and helpful to everyone not just our group, she even kept her composure with some rude guests. My wife and daughter are usually picky diners but they enjoyed every meal as did I. we tried all 4 a la carte restaurants as well as the main buffets and snack bars. there was never a shortage of different things to try and the choice of drinks was good also. The hotel beach was excellent it was very clean with beautiful clear calm waters which were ideal for kids and adults to play, swim and snorkel. There were also a good range of water sports and activities most of which were free but some had a small cost but they were still great value. The hotel itself was always clean and tidy with a relaxed atmosphere in some areas but lively and energetic in others. I only have 1 minor grumble...All the bar staff, waiters and waitresses seemed to be working flat out 7 days a week with very little cover for breaks etc. Although the staff didn't complain this must be quite difficult and tiring. This maybe something the hotel could address in the future. All in all this was an excellent holiday. we had planned to go to Cuba next year but I thing we may change our plans and come back to Nana Beach.More
2nd visit, just as good as the first. July 2017.
This was our 2nd family visit to this hotel in consecutive years. On this occasion we were 2 grand parents, 2 parents, 14yr old, 11 yr old and also a 27 yr old niece, we booked the trip ourselves using sky scanner for flights and the hotel website for our rooms. If you have read my previous review you will know that last year we had a tremendous experience and really rate this hotel, well this year I am really pleased to say the hotel once again lived up to all of our expectations, we were placed in rooms close to us, the hotel picked up that we were 2 nd timers and we were invited to join the repeaters club where we got some additional benefits. The food is still and continues to be varied and of a high quality, the staff are friendly, knowledgable and always happy to help, the facilities are clean and well appointed and there is plenty to do. The rooms are spacious, clean with all the facilities you would expect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and we will no doubt be back in the future.More
The best hotel I have ever stayed at with beautiful surroundings. We had a seafront bungalow which is opposite the sea/bathing platforms. The grounds are large and beautifully clean/maintained. Nothing to complain about-food lovely, beach clean, rooms cleaned well etc Would definitely recommend. The lady in the beach bar (Konstantina?) should be commended for her constant smiling and good service. Well done Nana beach.More
Absolutely loved this hotel. So much so on the coach to the airport home we rebooked for next year. We had a room in block 300 for 2 adults and 1 child very close to the main pool. Great location. The room was small and dated compared to other places i have been but it was comfy and fit for purpose (sleeping & showering). The hotel was kept immaculate the whole time we was there. The food fresh & hot. Lots to choose from. We did feel the kids buffet wasn't really what children would choose but our little girl never went hungry she was limited to choice as she is a fussy eater but always had something to eat even if not a full meal. Eg chips & water melon was sometimes her dinner. We was fortunate to get places at 3 of the alacarte restaurants and the food was delish. Our favourite was the greek one as the waiters there were much friendlier and made our experience a really good one. The food was also lovely !!! We ate mainly at the second buffet restaurant over looking the beach as we loved the view, ambiance and the fact men can wear their shorts here. Lovely to watch the sun set whilst eating. Although there are lots of pools to chose from we stayed at the main pool as the depth suited my daughter best and she did go to the splash kids pool a couple of times. The pools lovely and kept very well. There is a sunbed reserving problem at this pool. Its not over crowded which is lovely but means there are few sunbeds here. People were reserving beds as early as 5am. I feel this slightly lets the hotel down and one of my only main moans. I have been to many all inclusive hotels where sunbed reserving pre 9am is forbidden and your belongings are placed in a room to collect if you break this rule. Nobody wants to have to set their alarm on holiday so they can ensure a spot around their favourite pool. Considering we went in high season in the school summer holidays there was little queuing at this hotel, it never felt crowded and was immaculately clean at all times. This made our experience pleasurable. The beach is lovely (mind your feet though the sand is very very hot) we found ourselves laughing at people doing the hot sand dance and others laughing at us when it was our turn to walk the hot sand. A major plus for me at the beach is the sunbeds and parasols are free for guests as the hotel owns them as are the pedalos this saved us a fortune in comparison to most places we have holidayed. Another of my favourite things about the beach is the lady that works at the beach bar (also all inclusive) she is a gem !!! Always so upbeat and happy and serves everyone with a smile. The entertainment was good. I found it bearable compared to other places i have been. And the illumination show was excellent !!! Our favourite. The entertainment team are great. Always smiling. My little girl loved Aaron and Miriam. They also dressed up as pokemon characters one day which made her holiday !!! The receptionists were also very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 2:30am after a journey where we was the only family in a coach full of teenagers ready to party in Malia. They blared music and drank vodka for the duration of the journey so when we arrived at the hotel we was less than pleased and my 6 year old so tired. The receptionist whizzed us to our room he was so good and gave us everything we needed and although they usually take money for dafe keys etc because we was so tired he allowed us to pay on departure. We were more than impressed with this hotel and can not wait to go back next July. More
Luxury appearance with a cheap soul.
The hotel is nice, the hall and common spaces are luxury, the green areas are eye-catching and well mantained, the staff is wearing an impeccable white uniform, the houses and small streets in the center of the resort are really fascinating, especially in the evening and all the staff (with a couple of exceptions) was warm and very kind. The bad: The interior of the rooms (furniture and bathrooms) was definitely not at 5* standard. The buffet restaurants' food offer needs urgently to be revised: repetitive, cheap selection like pork, beans, and poor fish etc.. Too heavy and with no taste. The so called "à la carte restaurants" are cozy but the food quality is medium (in any case better than the buffet) and the waiting time can turn a nice evening into a disaster: we had waited one hour before getting food in the Italian and fish restaurant. The all inclusive offer is cheap: automatic dispenser of filtered water, some soft drinks, very basic wine and beer, tons of fried and junk food, no fruit or yoghurt, or healthy. The cleanliness of the pools and common toilets needs to be improved, above all in the afternoon and in the evenings. The pools bars are open from 11 to 18 while the pools are opened from 9 to 19: it means no refreshment (not even water) available when the bars are closed, above all in the kids pools and at the beach, from where authomatic dispensers are far. The queues for eating are frustrating and after 21.30 the choice of food is limited and the tables are being prepared for the breakfast. There is definitley no food for toddler and infants, avoid if you have babies. The beach (an artifical sea basin opened also to non-hotel's guests) is horrible: sunbeds very old, no cleaning service, and overcrowded. Lockers in rooms and wifi are extra charged. The majority of the disconforts that we have experienced are due to the serious lack of staff in the hotel: all the people seems to work with dedication and good will but they are definitely overloaded: this means delays and inconveniences for the clients. Specially in the evening when the staff seems constantly busy in preparing the breakfast and collecting garbage. In conclusion, there is plenty room for improvements.More
