Hotel Nana Beach

With 5 outdoor pools, 5 restaurants and 2 private coves, the numbers really add up at this whitewashed hotel.

At this bumper hotel, whitewashed buildings step down through bougainvillea-filled gardens towards 2 private coves. On the way, there’s a selection box of swimming pools.

This place doesn’t stint on anything. For a start, it’s got 5 restaurants. Then there’s the huge checklist of bars. And activity-wise, the hotel lays on everything from archery to canoeing.

Lovely hotel let down by poor management

Visited in May and subject to a complaint with First Choice who are being downright deceitful . First with 2 small grandchildren in our party we always check for saltwater pools, Checked First Choice hotel description all ok so booked, WRONG ! main and kids pools are saltwater! First Choice say saltwater pools are noted in general T & C's in back of brochure - how deceitful!!. Kids pools had rusty screws sticking up from tiles where the depth notices had been broken - poor maintenance and only 1 out of 3 fixed whilst we were there despite reporting several times. Queues in restaurants and waiting times for replenishment of food tureens totally unacceptable and this was early season . Too many steep steps without handrails. One big plus is staff are excellentMore

Wonderful holiday

We had a 10 night stay at Nana Beach end of May. We have stayed at a lot all inclusive hotels, including the Caribbean. This has to be one of the best. We had wonderful sea view rooms. Travelling with three children it's the first time we've been given inter-connecting rooms without having to ask. The quality of the food was excellent. Lots of choice. A special mention to the staff in the Italian a la carte. Wonderful friendly service. My children enjoyed the kids club. It's the best they've ever been to. Always something arranged for them. Thanks especially to Victor and Aaron. Can you tell them that Oakley, Florence and Romilly miss them!!!! We would find it hard to fault the hotel and all it has to offer. We can see why so many go back!! Oh and give the scuba diving a try. They're a great set up. Hope to see you all again!More

Amazing Stay

We stayed at "Nana Beach" in May. We travelled as family of 4. Children are aged 1 and 7. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and hope to return in the future. Staff were very friendly. Food was fresh and plentiful and particularly enjoyed the mexican night. We were slightly unhappy with the Al a Carte Restaurants due to the poor service and the food not really being the speciality it was advertised as eg italian. The cocktails and drinks were really nice and were not watered down as we have found on previous all inclusive holidays. The kids club was enjoyed by my 7 year old son, although we felt that there could of been more sports activities available. Evening entertainment was poor, but did not spoil our holiday due to enjoying drinks in the bars, which were very child friendly. The snorkelling was the best i have ever experienced and the view from the rocks at the side of the hotel were simply breath taking. The photos do no do this hotel justice, its definitely a little slice of heaven. Improving the Al A Carte restaurants and evening entertainment would only better this hotel in my opinion. If your looking at this hotel please do not hesitate to book, you will not regret it. Thank you Nana Beach for a great weeks holiday !!! .More

Another Great Visit

Third time and always improving, nice to see refreshed air con and new Greek restaurant. The staff are excellent, everyone passes the time of day and will bend over backwards to help. A particular note of thanks to Emanoiul for being 'just great', a busy man who runs his bar extraordinarily well, is great with adults and kids, in any language. A true ambassador for the resort. The refreshed, new build, Greek restaurant is very good, the same great service bit even better food. I would pay good money to eat here regularly. The facilities are fantastic and very clean. I have 2 minor issues. Firstly the food in the main restaurant was of a lower standard to normal, not great quality meat. Secondly it might be an idea to erect a permanent partition/wall in the main dining room to allow adults to sit away from the cacophony made by families. No real criticisms but maybe an idea to make the resort just perfect. Otherwise thank you for another great holiday. More

Beautiful place

Just come home from 11nights at Nana beach. It's a really beautiful complex!! Really enjoyed my holiday. Food is lovely, always something nice to eat. Drinks are pretty poor, you have to pay €2 for fresh orange juice!! They do squash like drinks that they pass as fruit juice, it's not nice. The spirts are weak! And cheap, the beer and wine are good. Now as I said the complex is very beautiful, like a pretty village full of little homes and beautiful flowers. I booked two rooms when I booked this holiday with first choice. My parents were going to be in one and my partner my 4 year old son and myself in another but they put us all in one room! It lasted 48 hours before I asked to move. The room was lovely, had 2 bathrooms and balconies but one front door. It meant that my mom and dad had to walk past my bed to get to theirs. We moved to two other rooms eventually. My new room had a bath which was nice, but it was filthy and full of ants so I just used the shower. My room wasn't cleaned very well in the whole of my stay. I know it's a massive complex and the cleaners have loads of rooms to do so I don't blame them. The staff In the hotel work so hard, the animation team, the restaurant staff, everyone!! The beach is nice and you can hire Pedalos as part of the all inclusive program. The shop on the complex is expensive compared to town. Air beds are €3 more in the shop and the lazy big women who sits and the till is so rude!! The entertainment was really good, always something going on. If that's not your thing there are quiet parts of the hotel. You can ask for bottles of wine and sit on your balcony if you like. Loads for kids, discos, competitions, soft play. The kids club looked really good!! We went in a few times. Overall it is a lovely hotel, great for families (just take some detol wipes)More
