This pool is host to many activities such as water aerobics. Not only that, but it's in prime position for access to the swim-up Dolphin Bar, great for those afternoon cocktails without even getting out of the pool. With sunbeds and parasols. Towels are available with a deposit.
Plenty of delicious dishes to treat your taste buds to in this Italian à la carte restaurant. You'll get 1 free visit per stay and reservations need to be made in the main buffet restaurant. Dress code applies, with full length trousers for gentleman.
Just got back from 11 fabulous days at the Nana Beach. The hotel is beautifully laid out and did feel more like a small village in Greece rather than a hotel with lovely walkways between the rooms and lots of really nice planting and trees.
The food was really nice, with a choice of restaurants including a la carte. You will always find something you like to eat at any meal time.
The overall setting is good too, there is something for everyone - no need to reserve sunbeds because there are so many you'll always find somewhere to sit. The choice of location is good too - the beach area and sunbeds available on the beach or on platforms by the rocks next to the sea. Lots of beds by a variety of pools so if you want the main pool with the 'Animation Team Activity' then you can have it, if you want a kids pool with slides and other fun things, you have that too, if you want a quiet pool with relaxation there's a pool for that too - great choice.
Oddly the only reason not a five star rating was a few little niggles with the room - I am being very picky in some respects but when everything else is so nice it makes you look for perfection everywhere else.
Had to pay 2 euros a day for the safe which always annoys me when it is in the room anyway. I understand that some people may lose a key so costs have to be covered but surely you can charge the people that lose the key?
Our room had a window that faced the bed, it was a clear window i.e. not frosted and made us draw the blind for the whole stay to avoid being seen from outside the room. The blind on that window was not a blackout blind so for a couple of nights we tried to sleep with a light directly opposite the window shining directly into the room through the blind. It was actually brighter in the room at night than during the day. After that I worked out that I could just about climb up and hang one or two beach towels on the blind and this helped block most of the light out.
The bed was not that supportive and was noisy when you moved on it - I'm also sporting a nice multi coloured bruise on my shin from the sharp corner of the bed because the space was quite narrow.
Final negative comment is about Reception service - this seemed at odds with friendly service elsewhere. To arrive and be met with a demand, and it was a demand, that we sit down to fill in a form as the first impression was a little bit strange. Other reception interactions were a little but 'sharp' and not as friendly as the other areas.
My partner had her birthday while in the hotel and we received fantastic surprise champagne and cake and singing of happy birthday in the a la carte restaurant, which was very very nice and not expected or requested, thank you!
Overall this is a fantastic hotel and I would recommend it to anyone.More

Stayed at Nana Beach in
August this yr. what a great place staff fab, so much for the kids we have a four yr old. Food was amazing will definitely go back :)
The restaurant's were great a lot of choice. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The ladies In the shop were lovely x
Everything about Nana Beach is just perfect. We had paid extra for a sea view and were really pleased to find that we had an idyllic terrace just a few feet from the sea. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The resort is really beautiful with bougainvillaea, hibiscus (I think) and birds of paradise everywhere. You can really have the holiday that you want here with part of the resort peaceful and relaxing while some areas are buzzing and noisy. There are adult only pools and pools especially for children. The beach is very nice with plenty of sun beds, good sand, toilets, beach bars and water sports. Beach volley ball, snorkelling and various excercise classes are available and I was impressed with the quality of the aquafit class I attended. Beach towels are supplied and can be exchanged for clean ones whenever you wish so there's no need to fill your suitcase with heavy beach towels.
The buffet serves a huge variety of food and all the staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. I liked the fact that they found us a table every time we entered the restaurant so we weren't left wandering around or fighting for somewhere to sit. The a la carte restaurants were impressive and served plenty of good quality food in very pleasant surroundings.
We walked into Hersonissos and Stallis but found them quite tacky with lots of bars, cheap gift shops and restaurants (think The Red Lion, Rovers Return and Irish bars) but there's really no reason to leave Nana Beach. We did enjoy the trip to the palace of Knossos and Heraklion. Our Thomson guide made the whole trip very interesting.
We don't normally enjoy evening entertainment at hotels but we watched lots here and saw some really good quality acts. We liked the Panarama bar and were impressed by the cocktails. There is a wide range of snacks and drinks available and even late at night you can help yourself to a Greek salad, chips, pasta etc. This was regularly topped up and the hot food was hot!
It is hard to find anything that could be improve upon (maybe tea/coffee making facilities in the room?) This is the best resort we have been to and would definitely like to return.More
many times we have gone all inclusive but this is the best to date.accomadation spotless and comfy.food 1st class with plenty of choice.entertainment great . all in all we had a great time.the only dissappointment was the a la cart ,good to have table service but we found the menu limited .it would have been nice to have a bigger choice.not a lot different as we had on the buffet.well worth going a great place..we will be back.More
Cannot fault this hotel
I have recently returned from a week long stay at the Nana Beach resort and all i can say is one week is not enough!! Travelled with my boyfriend and we were concerned there wouldnt be a lot to do as the hotel is mainly marketed as a family resort. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, with 2 buffet restaurants, 3 a la carte restaurants and a few snack bars as well we were spoiled for choice and the quality was outstanding. I have stayed in quite a few all inclusive hotels and this has by far outshone the rest. Not to mention that wine was served by the bottle and cocktails served in proper cocktail glasses. One of my favourite things about the hotel were the sunbed terraces on the rocks which allowed you to get straight into the sea without touching any sand! a big bonus for me. The sea was very clear and perfect for snorkeling, a favourite for my boyfriend. Of course there is a sandy beach as well, and 5 pools i think.....there really was something for everyone. The food and entertainment in the hotel was so good you really didnt have to leave, although both Hersonissos and Stallis were within walking distance. we took a day trip to the former leper colony of spinalonga and would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Crete. It was expensive to book through Thomson (our travel agent) but we got it at a third of the price by walking into Stallis and purchasing it from an independent tour company.
The only thing i would change about the holiday is we had two single beds pushed together. A double would have been better.
All in all a fantastic resort and I cannot wait to return. I never wanted to come home. It was like paradise.More
