Climb the steep track behind the village of Nissaki and discover the peace, tranquillity and sea views of this quaint, traditional home, which is set in olive groves.
With its olive groves setting, sea views and secluded setting – up a steep track behind the village of Nissaki – The Old Stone House is all about peace and tranquillity. Inside, this traditional village house has an unusual layout with the modern kitchen set slightly apart from the main part of the house.
The entrance level has a comfortable living area with CD player and TV. Then there's one of the double bedrooms – with its sea-facing balcony – a shower room and single room. Stairs lead down to a lower floor and a second double bedroom, in addition to another bathroom. And outside, there are steps down to a private pool, which has views through the olive trees to the sea below. It's a lovely spot for whiling away days with a good book. There's also a cool shaded terrace to the side of the house – perfect for enjoying an evening aperitif.
Out and about meanwhile, Nissaki is a pretty village on the northeastern coast road that winds around the lower slopes of Mount Pantokrator. With a relaxed pace of life, the village has three crescent shaped white shingle beaches with a selection of watersports should you fancy it. The village also has a small selection of shops and tavernas.

Nissaki, a tiny, traditional village on the wooded mountainside below Mount Pandokrator, is as concerned with its olive trees and the fishing catch as it is with visitors. About 23km north of Corfu Town and the airport and facing Albania, the compact resort has several small beaches and coves and attracts couples and families seeking a quiet, relaxing and typically Corfiot holiday.
