Flanked by acres of greenery and right on the beach, the Louis Family Resort showcases the best of Corfu’s scenery.
The Louis Family Resort is in a great spot for families. It’s set in spacious gardens, which means you’ve got room to stretch out. On top of that, you’re only ever steps from a small shingle beach.
Outside there are 3 pools. In terms of where to eat and drink, you’ve got a buffet place and an Asian restaurant. From May 2016 this hotel will become part of the Family Life collection and will be known as Family Life Kerkyra.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks, tea, coffee and filtered water 10.00-24.00.
Snacks between meals 10.00-24.00, picnics - on request by 6pm the day before and ice-cream for kids 10.00-18.00.
Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an open terrace during the evening for some al fresco dining. Theme nights are also on the agenda 7 times a week. A light lunch is offered by the pool so you don't have to risk losing your sunlounger whilst getting a bite to eat.
Designed for three to 11-year-olds, our Kids’ Clubs offer two hours of activities, six days a week. We’ve split the Clubs into specific age groups, too, so that all activities are tailored to suit your little ones. And all the sessions have a theme, so there’s lots of fun and games in store. You’ll find nearly all the Kids’ Club sessions are free, with evening activities available at a small charge. For your peace of mind, all of our Kids’ Club staff are trained to UK standards and undergo relevant checks.

We were looking for a relaxing week away at the end of September where our 2yr old daughter could play in a shallow pool. We weren't disappointed.
Pools: all three pools are fantastic, I enjoyed the two larger pools, and my daughter loved the toddler pool and the shallow part of the main pool. The sea was warmer than the main pool, but once you're in it's very pleasant, and you can stay in all day. ****
Beach: poor. Don't expect a great sandy beach. *
Views: We had a room facing the sea with a great view of the Corfu coast and hills, and across to Albania. The pool area has views across to Corfu port and the massive cruise ships. ***
Food/drink: OK. Good variety every day, something for everyone. My fussy toddler was cratered for with simple food, plus she tried a few new things, mostly desserts! The drink options were what you expect. The usual spirits, cocktails and easy-drinking, unremarkable draft lager. ***
Staff: Hotel staff were faultless. Kids club staff were great over all, some better than others individually but a superb team. *****More

Great for families
We have recently returned from a weekâs stay booked through Thomson. This hotel is marketed by Thomson as a âfamily resortâ, which as a couple, would not usually appeal, but as we were looking for a late availability offer to get away from the British weather, we decided to take a chance. The hotel is off a dual carriageway, with a long drive. Nowhere to walk, but you could catch a local bus into Corfu Town and also the other direction to Gouvia. We were allocated a âfamily room with sliding doorsâ, which was fine for just the two of us, but although it was sea-facing, we found it rather dark. Most of the sea/pool view rooms were in the shade all day. The hotel is popular with people joining and departing the cruise ships with the new port just a short journey away. In the restaurant there is an area kept for adults only, which was greatly appreciated. The food standard was good and there is also the option of an Asian restaurant which was opened three or four times a week. This needed to be pre-booked. The main pool area was quite noisy for most of the day, with activities arranged for the children and their parents. There was another pool where there was also a bar and snack bar. The âgardensâ were really grassy areas but with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and lovely views out to sea. There was not a great deal of evening entertainment for adults. The facilities and entertainment for families was first class, with a large number of Thomson repâs working very hard. We had a nice relaxing break, and although we would probably not return, I would happily recommend this for families with small children. A nice hotel, kept very clean, with excellent staff.More

We have just returned from another visit to the Kerkyra Golf Hotel. September 14th to 21st.
Welcome Cold Towels and Drinks were available in Reception, âCheck inâ was quick and easy.
The Hotel was in âPristineâ condition, I asked the General Manager, if a painting session had taken place and he advised no painting had taken place. Towards the end of what appears to have been a very successful and very busy season, everywhere was âSpot Lessâ.
We received the usual Excellent Service, Friendship, Food, Drink and the perfect holiday this Hotel is noted for.
We had Clear Skys with temperatures of 36/40 degrees Monday to Saturday, a little Cloud on Sunday, which was followed by a storm at 21-00hrs which put a stop to the outside entertainment. I must say the Management and Staff were right on the ball, immediately putting out additional chairs to accommodate Guests who were forced inside by the rain.
Prior to leaving, we made our arrangements for another return visit, June 6th to 20th 2016. Something to look forward to through the Winter Months ahead.
With the reduction of Flights at this time of the Year, Corfu Airport was much easier to pass through than was in June, both Arrivals and Departures.More
