Flanked by acres of greenery and right on the beach, the Louis Family Resort showcases the best of Corfu’s scenery.
The Family Life Kerkyra is in a great spot for families. This hotel was formerly known as the Louis Family Resort. It’s set in spacious gardens, which means you’ve got room to stretch out. On top of that, you’re only ever steps from a small shingle beach.
Outside there are 3 pools. In terms of where to eat and drink, you’ve got a buffet place and an Asian restaurant.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks, tea, coffee and filtered water 10.00-24.00.
Snacks between meals 10.00-24.00, picnics - on request by 6pm the day before and ice-cream for kids 10.00-18.00.
Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, with an open terrace during the evening for some al fresco dining. Theme nights are also on the agenda 7 times a week. A light lunch is offered by the pool so you don't have to risk losing your sunlounger whilst getting a bite to eat.
Designed for three to 11-year-olds, our Kids’ Clubs offer two hours of activities, six days a week. We’ve split the Clubs into specific age groups, too, so that all activities are tailored to suit your little ones. And all the sessions have a theme, so there’s lots of fun and games in store. You’ll find nearly all the Kids’ Club sessions are free, with evening activities available at a small charge. For your peace of mind, all of our Kids’ Club staff are trained to UK standards and undergo relevant checks.
These family rooms have space for four, you’ll find 1 child and 1 extra bed in the twin bedroom. There’s also a balcony or terrace for extra space outside and views of the sea. And there's free Wi-Fi, too.

Stayed here for a week before setting sail on our Adriatic cruise.
A warm welcome and easy check in with a nice room, adequate washing facilities and comfy bed.
We travelled here with other family members, all adult.
Staff friendly especially Georgios on reception.
The weather was bad on a couple of days and because there were children staying we were all lumped together for entertainment which was very noisy in the evening. There was no quiet space so we returned to our room with family. If we had travelled alone I think we may have been a little bored.
Bingo was an absolute joke as we could not hear the calling of numbers.
Good choice of food in restaurant and you would not go hungry. Waiting staff efficient and friendly.
Clearly it was nearing the end of season so entertainment team not very dynamic, except for Clara who was fabulous, friendly, and visible. Had a great laugh playing Boules.
All in all a nice hotel with a lovely swimming pool for adults but would benefit from a few more considerations for adults.More
The hotel is lovely, the staff are fantastic and the food is brilliant. My only grumble is the location of the hotel. The setting and grounds are beautiful, but once out of the grounds you are in a commercial/industrial zone on the outskirts of Corfu town. It's about 40 minute walk into town or 10 mins on the bus. I like to visit establishments out with the hotel, but here there are none. I had a great holiday, really relaxing, watching the cruise ships coming & going, it is a brilliant family hotel but not for me.More
Excellent family hotel
We stayed from the 23rd to the 30th of October, which was the last week of the season.
The day we left the hotel was closing for the winter.
Despite this the hotel and staff were excellent.
The hotel is located a 5 minute drive out of Corfu Town, located and a small beach. There is not much of a beach, but the water is clear and shallow, ideal for kids.
The hotel is a 4 star which is just about right. Everything you need.
There is one buffet restaurant which serves a wide variety of food and has specialty nights. There is also an Asian aka Carter restaurant which is included in the all inclusive package. There is a bar in the large reception area and two pool bars. All the bars were very well supplie and served some of the tastiest cocktails.
All the staff were very friendly and most helpful.
When we stayed this was a Thomson family hotel and the Thomson staff provided excellent kids clubs etc. Entertainment was ok, couple of professional acts during the week and a couple of the usual rep shows. The hotel does provide free wifi, but it was a bit hit and miss. Seemed like everyone in the hotel was always trying to get on line at the same time and the poor wifi could not cope.
Overall, nice comfortable hotel serving excellent food, with excellent staff.
I would recomend this hotel to family's and if I go back to Corfu, would have no hesitation in returning to the Louis hotel.More

This was our second visit to this hotel in Corfu. We were there from 16-30 October, the first week we experienced some heavy rain and people were moaning about the amount of standing water/wet grass etc, but when it rained it really rained, but this soon dried up and during this time all the staff did everything they could to get people back safe inside where it was dry. The second week the weather was more accommodating but it was October so we knew the risk regarding the weather.
Now to review the hotel, again on this visit we could not fault a thing, we had great rooms (416 and 415), they were always kept spotless everyday, the beds were comfy with all the usual provided, air con, safe (fee payable) tea, coffee, water, mini fridge, extra
Pillows, blankets etc if needed. WiFi not available in the room.
Food, again always plenty of choice, a different theme every night, something for everyone even if a special dietary need is necessary they were always willing to accommodate your needs, just ask or let them know. Also if you get chance book into 'Mura' the Japanese/Asian restaurant the food was fantastic.
Drinks, were all inclusive with a good selection to choose from and Christo and the rest of the bar staff worked very hard every day, they were constantly on the go.
Entertainment, the team work very hard, there was always something happening to keep the kids entertained as well as the adults too. From games, competitions, entertainment team shows plus local entertainment from outside the hotel, our favourite was the Greek
Night, Nikos who plays the bazzuki is very talented. There was also the Thomson ententertainment team, brilliant team nothing too much trouble. There was daily activities for the adults and water sports available at a charge.
To summarise, this hotel is in an ideal location, the beach may be small, but the sea is very clear to swim in and see the fish. The overall way this hotel is run, the friendliness of the staff, the food etc could not be faulted.
I would like to say a big thank you to Sakis and all the staff for making this hotel the best family hotel worldwide which has now been recognised and awarded for 2015, congratulations well deserved. From the lovely George (who still has not retired) and the other reception staff, the bar staff, the restaurant staff, cleaners, groundsmen these people have to be some of the friendliest, hardworking staff a hotel could employee.
Hope to see you all again soonMore

Perfect holiday for anyone!
This hotel was of excellent standard. All the staff very friendly and willing to please you at all times. Airport transfer was very easy and only about 10 minutes in the coach. Check in was very quick and easy and family room was brilliant. Very spacious and clean, sea view was the definite 'wow' factor, would recommend sea view room to everyone. We travelled as friends and the family room satisfied our needs beyond our expectations as so big, fresh sheets regularly, a big bottle of water daily and towels replaced every couple of days. The food in the hotel was of a high standard with lots of choice, we could always find something that we liked without it being a repeat of previous days. I thought the children's food area was a great idea - not only for the children but fussy adults too!!!! We did visit the other restaurant on our last evening, not to my taste so a little disappointed but can't fault it and would recommend this also. Thomson reps were fantastic and kept everyone entertained all the time. It was the last week of the season so very chilly in the evenings but we made the effort each night to visit the amphitheatre and support the entertainment provided. Each night was something different and we were glad we went, we enjoyed each evening! The hotel entertainments team were also great, we had to wait all day on Friday before our pick up to go home and they spent a long time chatting with us while the hotel was being packed down, it was a really nice end to our holiday! Corfu town is only a 10 minute bus journey costing 1.20⬠each way and very easy to catch the bus! Our holiday was made extra special by being able to see the cruise ships sail past as we had friends docked one of the days and were able to watch them sail way in the evening!!
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone, families, friends, couples and even people travelling alone. We were made very welcome and I have to say this is one of the only hotels were everyone speaks to you - staff and guests! We had lots of laughs with everyone and will remember our holiday for a long time. Thank you Louis hotels and Thomson xxMore
