Flanked by acres of greenery and right on the beach, the Louis Family Resort showcases the best of Corfu’s scenery.
The Louis Family Resort is in a great spot for families. It’s set in spacious gardens, which means you’ve got room to stretch out. On top of that, you’re only ever steps from a small shingle beach.
Outside there are 3 pools. In terms of where to eat and drink, you’ve got a buffet place and an Asian à la carte. This hotel is part of our Thomson Family Resorts range, too, so there’s plenty on offer for children.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Locally produced alcoholic and soft drinks, tea, coffee and filtered water 10.00-24.00.
Snacks between meals 10.00-23.00, picnics - on request the day before and ice-cream for kids 10.00-18.00.
Offering breakfast and dinner, with an open terrace during the evening for some al fresco dining. Theme nights are also on the agenda several times a week. Lunch is offered by the pool so you don't have to risk losing your sunlounger whilst getting a bite to eat.
Designed for 3 to 11 year olds, Thomson Kids’ Club offers 2 hours of activities, 5 or 6 days a week. And that includes at least 3 evenings. It’s split into sections, with Tots for 3 to 5 year olds, Team for 6 to 8s, and Tribe for 9 to 11s. Best of all, most kids’ clubs activities are completely free. And outside of peak season, there are parent and toddler sessions 3 days a week, too. For your peace of mind, all Thomson Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times.
We travelled from Glasgow at 6.30am 17/10 in the rain arrived in Corfu to a lovely 20+degree heat, happy days ,transfer was very quick to Louis Kerkya Hotel we were greeted in the foyer with a cold drink bliss check in was very smooth our room had a sea view and was very spacious .
We arrived at lunch time and the food was excellent throughout our whole stay and the choice was superb, the staff on reception, bars, dining room were excellent .and the Thomson team were excellent too. We had 2 trips out on the local buses to Corfu and beyond . I would highly recommend this hotel.More

An amazing week!
We have returned from having the most amazing week at the Kerkyra Golf / Louis Family hotel. Last year we had our honeymoon in Mexico, and had a horrible time, so thought we would have a second albeit smaller honeymoon.
We booked a last minute deal, and paid an excellent price.
Upon arrival we were instantly impressed by the friendliness of the staff who greeted us. The lobby was bright, fresh and clean. The cleaners so an amazing job and work literally non stop.
Check in was done quickly, and efficiency within around 5 minutes of arrival, this was in spite of the hotel having numerous coaches arriving at the same time.
We quickly made it to our room, which was spacious and equppied with the usual tea and coffee. We decided to pay the extra 3.50 euro per day for the safe, but worth every penny for piece of mind.
ExpLoring the resort we were impressed with how everything was set up, the 2 pools, snack areas and restaurants and the sun loungers which were always available
The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the beach or lack of, although if we had researched we would have seen they are better on the west side of Corfu. However we were still delighted and this did not dampen our time.
Food was always plentiful and good quality. There was a different theme each night, which stopped the food being too repetitive. It was nice that we could try local produce, and this is always available. As other reviewers have commented I can verify the pizza is amazing!!!
We found the bed slightly hard, but everyone has their own preference, so again not a major issue.
The entertainment was brilliant, and the team work so hard to ensure everyone enjoys themselves. Abi from the entertainment team has a beautiful singing voice, although all of them are brilliant in their own way.
We has 2 excursions whilst there, one to Kassiopi with Theo, which was an enjoyable day. The second to Albania. This was my favourite one, and really highlighted a beautiful country, although still suffering with the problems of their past.
Going to Corfu town is easy and just a 10 minute bus trip away. It is a beautiful town, with some great shops and ice cream!!!!
We hated our first honeymoon. We just wished we had come here originally
Fabulous Family Fun
we have returned today from a 7 night stay at the Louis Family Resort in Corfu
I had read some reviews on here and had an open mind as some were excellent and some were not.
On arrival in Corfu it was a lovely 26⢠a far cry from the cool UK weather we left behind!!!
I have travelled with my husband and 2 children (9 & 6) along with friends and their 2 children (9 & 8)
The transfer from the airport was a speedy 10 minutes and despite the whole bus staying at the resort we were checked in very quickly, I had upgraded our room via emailing the hotel prior to arrival and opted for a family room with sliding doors and a sea view at a cost of â¬140 and u can honestly say it was well worth it. The room was spacious with a large double bed and two sofa beds behind the sliding door. The bathroom was spotless and the view was breathtaking.
Onto the food.......all inclusive does get repetitive after a few days and altho the food was very fresh with different theme nights this unfortunately was still the case. Breakfast was served 7-10 each day and there was a huge selection of fresh fruit, cheeses and cold meats along with your traditional breakfast items us Brits enjoy!!!!! Lunch was 12:30-15:30 and again had your staple buffet delights of veg, rice and chips along with a fresh salad cart and local hot dishes served each day. There is a poolside snack bar that does a late breakfast (breads and pastries) along with amazing baguettes and pizzas at lunch. Evening meal was very similar to lunch but you had theme nights including Italian, Corfian and Mexican. During your stay you can book into Mura which is the Japanese restaurant that is also part of the all inclusive package and this is well worth it, it breaks up the monotonous defo of the main buffet restaurant and gives you a nice dining experience, you get sushi (not fish) followed by a soup and an Asian themed buffet which each dish was freshly prepared and delicious. Ice cream is available 10-6 and kids thought this was brilliant!!!
Onto the drinks.........all measures were generous and despite some reviews stating that spirits were watered down after suffering after a heavy night including tequilas I can testify this is not the case!!!! The wine is available on tap and again despite negative comments was a lovely dry white and available self service into jugs, brilliant!!!!! Beer is also available self service on tap along with hot drinks and carbonated soft drinks, don't be fooled with the soft drinks, despite the labels stating Pepsi etc it wasn't at all!!!!!!!!
Kids club - this was great all the reps did a great job and my two went to a number of sessions including the evening ones that ran from 19:00-21:00 and were free, there was a pyjama party 19:00-22:00 for â¬10 each and they had w blast along with the chocolate party for â¬5 each, kids made great friends which allowed us to eat in peace and have a holiday of our own.
Cleanliness of the hotel was second to none and I would recommend it to anyone.
We visited corfu town via a taxi at â¬10 each way and did some shopping as well as having s meal out at s lovely taverna. This set us back â¬70 for a family of 4 including wine so very reasonable.
Looking at other hotels for the future.........excellent holiday More
My partner and I spent a week at the Louis Kerkerya Golf Hotel at the end of September. From the moment I walked into the reception area I knew I had booked a good hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. Towels changed daily. We stopped in room 434 and had a beautiful sea view. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The bar service was very good. All the Thomson team were friendly and helpful. The hotel staff was always present. There are two pools. I would recommend getting a spot at the smaller pool near the snack bar as the bigger pool seemed to be more for the families. As we were a couple it was nice and quiet for us. The evening entertainment was good too. I would most definitely book this hotel again.
