And it's not five-star luxury and Michelin-starred cuisine that brings people here. The recipe for success at the Theo Hotel is simple. It's pretty, peaceful and as friendly as they come. Sat in olive groves and cushiony-green countryside, this modern hotel has beautiful views across the valley. But although it's peaceful, you're not far off the beaten track here. It's only a ten minute walk into Pagi village where there's a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. And the sandy shores of Aghios Georgios North take even less footwork. When relaxation is topping your tick list though, make a beeline for the swimming pool. Making the best of the panoramic views, it's a lovely spot for sun-worshipping and swimming. And it comes with all the important accessories like sun beds and parasols. Plus, there's a bar close by to keep you refreshed. Inside there's a large lounge bar where you can unwind with a cocktail or one of Theo's famous whiskies. The food at the Terrace Restaurant is a big hit, too. As well as home-cooked Greek dishes, you can also tuck into grilled steaks, fish and pizza. And don't miss the weekly Greek Night. With traditional musicians and dancers it's so popular it even brings some of the locals in.

It was our first visit to this hotel and Corfu. We only got back this morning and we are already booking for next year in this hotel. The owners make you feel so relaxed and welcome you into their home as if you were a family member. Staff and owners... more on this review
