Named after the owner's daughter, this oh-so pretty villa sits in a serene residential area, so you'll really feel like one of the locals here. And you'll soon be stepping in time to their slow pace. It has three restful bedrooms - one twin and two double rooms, one of which has a shower and a sink. All have built-in wardrobes and provide plenty of space, making the villa ideal for larger families or groups of friends.
When you want to put your feet up, the charming living area has a relaxed, country feel with ruby-red sink-into sofas, tiled flooring and a gorgeous stone feature fireplace. You can also tune into the satellite TV here or put your favourite CDs on and chill out. Step through the archway and you'll find the fully equipped kitchen, which may well inspire budding chefs to try some classic French recipes. It's also got all the mod cons, such as a washing machine, tumble dryer and coffee maker. In keeping with the open-plan layout, there's also an elegant dining area seating six.
With such a beautiful garden though, you may wish to enjoy all your meals al fresco out on the decked terrace overlooking the pool. It is the perfect spot for enjoying an aperitif after a hard day relaxing on one of the fabulous nearby beaches. One of the most stunning beaches on the island is the bay of Sant a Giulia which is just a ten minute drive away. If you wish to dine out in the evening then the old town of Porto Vecchio is within easy reach by car. The main square is lined with chic cafes and there is a wide variety of restaurants on old walls overlooking the marina. If you can tear yourself away, though – head for the drop-dead gorgeous beach of Santa Giulia, which is just a ten minute drive away. Or for an evening out, it's the same distance to Porto Vecchio where you can sit in the main square with a glass of red wine as the Mediterranean sun sets or enjoy a slap up meal at one of the local restaurants. This is as good as it gets.
Bonifacio also boasts some incredible chalk and limestone cliffs, with magnificent views along the coastline to the southernmost point of the island, a mere twelve kilometres from neighbouring Sardinia. The town itself is dominated by the 16th-century bastion, and behind this you'll find the old town, the heart of Bonifacio, with its seven hundred year old cathedral, narrow winding streets and fascinating history.
