Up in the hills, the charming little town of Zonza is a common starting point used by hikers heading for the famous pinnacles of the Aiguilles de Bavella or by walkers setting out for the Trou de la Bombe, a hole in the rock face caused by wind erosion.

However, it's the golden beaches that stretch along the coast between Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio that attract most visitors to this part of the island. Gently shelving, they're ideal for families with younger children as well as being simply beautiful!
