ok hotel, sport oriented, friendly staff
we spent 3 nights at the hotel visiting with a group. it's not located in city center so one cannot get in and out on foot, certainly not on snowy February. by car it's about a 5 min drive anyway. rooms were ok, beds and mattresses good, fully equipped kitchenette. reception and pool staff were all very friendly and helpful. pool was nice, it's weird that they don't allow men in the pool wearing loose fitting knee high swim shorts, only tight swimmer type swim shorts. anyway they provide you with a clean (single use?) pair on request. WiFi ok but needs re entering the password each time. breakfast was ok, coffee on breakfast was bad. i believe the hotel is mostly suitable for guests focusing on ski, pool and fitness centerMore
We stayed here the night we arrived and the night before we left from Rovaniemi airport, which is about a 20 euro taxi ride away. The city centre is a 20-30 minute walk or a short bus ride. We were in a budget room, but it was large and well-equipped, with a fridge and TV and there was a shared kitchen at the end of the corridor. Access is free to the pool complex, which has a good-sized lane pool and many smaller ones and a very good sauna in the changing rooms. They are very strict, though, that you must shower with soap before putting on your swimming costume. There is a good 10 pin bowling alley, which is cheap for hotel guests to use, and a choice of a set-menu or a fast-food restaurant. The staff were very helpful, and we were very pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend.More
It was Alright
It was not brilliant but alright. More like a backpacker kind of style, very basic. The only thing that I am not satisfied was the room is cold even why the radiator is on and the blanket is like towel thin. And surprisingly, the pillow were flat. I could not say more about the pillows because I went to another place it were flat as well.More
Poor rooms but friendly staff!
Had to take this one as it was only decent one with free room... This is my second time here so no suprises; basic room with shower. If you are not expecting much this place is ok. Great place if you're into sports ;) Toilet & shower needs some upgrading and there was a sign in hallway that stated they are doing some renovations.... More
Great value for money
We visit Lapland over Christmas period and for value for money we couldn't of asked for more. I was really happy with the food and amenities offered. My boys loved the pool and my husband used the gym. My only complaint was it took a while to book us in. I would recommend to any family wanting to see santa on a budget. We stayed for 5nights and I was really happy. More
