With a centre-of-town location, an indoor pool, and the full programme of snow activities, this place delivers on all fronts.
Set next to the Kemijoki River, this place is just a few minutes’ walk from Rovaniemi’s bars and restaurants. Santa Park is close by, too, and you’re in a good spot for snow sports like skiing and snowmobiling.
The hotel is straight from the modern school of design – bedrooms are decorated either in contemporary grey and cerise shades, or traditional browns and creams.

After touching down in Lapland's capital, you'll be kitted out with all your snow clothes. Then, Santa's elves will take you to your accommodation and you'll have the rest of the day to explore. Head to the city centre to browse the shops and grab a bite to eat, or just relax at your hotel.
Get an action-packed overview of what Rovaniemi has to offer. Try your hand at snowmobiling and enjoy short husky and reindeer sleigh rides in our taster sessions. Plus, one of Santa's elves will share a traditional Lappish tale as you warm up by the fire with a hot berry juice.
Today is yours to spend how you like. Take it easy at your hotel, get to know more of the city, or relive your favourite taster from the previous day by booking a longer snowmobile or husky excursion. You can also sign up for a reindeer safari or visit Lapland's Arctic Wildlife Park.
Rovaniemi's Santa Park is where Santa and his elves spend their days making toys and getting ready for Christmas. The huge underground grotto is made up of fairy-lit walkways, colourful workshops and festive shopping stalls, so there's a lot to explore.

Hotel of two parts
This is an old and dated hotel. The better quality rooms are just about acceptable but how are you supposed to order room service when there is no phone? The standard rooms reached via a tunnel are only one star and unacceptable. I have seen budget hostels with better quality furniture and fittings. Like the hotel staff are of varying quality too. On reception the young staff are delightful and helpful but the more mature lady clearly sees guests as an inconvenience to her admin duties. Breakfasts are quite good with plenty of choice which was regularly replenished during our stay. Rooms can be serviced very late in the day which considering the exciting experiences on offer means you can get back late afternoon needing a rest and a shower and no dry towels or made up bed. Again the more mature lady on the desk would not contact housekeeping simply said we had to wait, The location of the hotel is brilliant for transport links, the town centre and arctic experiences. This hotel is trading on its fading glory and needs some real quality management to be put in place and serious updating. There are much better hotels nearby.More
Good hotel with great location
We have stay a night at this hotel during visiting Rovaniemi. The hotel looks a little bit old, but is very well maintained. The room was comfortable and clean. From the hotel to the McDonald's restaurant and shopping street just 5 to 10 minutes walking distance and from hotel to Arktikum Science Meseum just 15 minutes walking distance. That's very convenient. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. We also having the buffet dinner during stay, the food was excellent. Breakfast was great with various of choices. Good job to team "Rantasipi Pohjanhovi"More

good hotel & excellent service
we spent a week there during a tourist group vacation. Rovaniemi is very well situated having within a small radius a lot of wonderful attractions. As I figure the hotel was chosen since it's one of the better ones in the city. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and neat. All the places are very well heated and last but not least the food is delicious. We ate a number of times out but none of the restaurants and other places equaled the meals at the hotel. A minor fall down was the swimming pool, warmed to a temperature of 17 celsius degrees which is quite cold and do not permit to enjoy it.More
We are currently staying at cumulus resort Pojanhovi. We have booked a family room. Our room is located in the adjacent building. The room is quite spacious and clean, but it would need some refurbishment. Big bathroom as well. Room service is very reliable. The Pool could be warmer. We had breakfast and dinner at the Hotel. The meals, especillay the dinner is far above our expectations. They serve a varitey of great food every evening. The Service is prompt and very friendly. The breakfast is also very good, you can find almost everything you want. We are very satisfied with our stay here. More
Normal hotel, Good location
Normal hotel, conveniently located. The rooms have the necessary minimum of things. Warm, even hot (it was February). Rooms and lobby are clean. A delicious variety of food in the restaurant. A good sauna and swimming pool, where you can then sit next to the fireplace. Courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Basically, we only slept in the hotel and rest a little in the evening, and we were all satisfied.More
