Can't fault it
Our first time in Cyprus. Travelled 6th July for 1 week. 2 adults and our children aged 19 and 16. Short transfer from the airport. From the moment we arrived, we felt as though all the staff were very attentive. Someone met us at the door and took our cases from us which were taken to our room for us. We were then greeted with a glass of bubbly while we checked in which was quick and smooth. The hotel is well kept and clean, the bedrooms are more spacious than I thought they would be and have tea and coffee making facilities. There is a small fridge in the room which is kept stocked with water, lemonade and cola, this can be upgraded to include alcohol if you want. Pool towels are available from the hotel, I'm assuming there may be a deposit for them but I didn't realise this was an option so had taken our own. The food is lovely, I'm a very fussy eater but I was extremely full after every meal. The staff in the hotel can't do enough for you, as soon as you sit down somewhere, a member of staff is there to see if you need anything. I don't think I got up to the bar once! There is an adults only pool which is calm and quiet, and a larger pool and a splash pool. There were plenty of sun loungers by the pool, some people did go early but it was not the school holidays so no need to rush. Although even in the school holidays, I can't imagine it being too bad as there were a lot of sun loungers all over the grounds, it just depends if you insist on being next to the pool or not. I can't comment on the entertainment team for the children as ours were older so we didn't get involved but the evening entertainment was good, a different act each night except one and bingo each night with cash prizes. I cannot fault the hotel or staff at all, we were made to feel very welcome throughout the whole week. It is a short walk to some bars and shops along the main road or you can take the prom which is lovely, especially at sunset. We walked to the harbour which would probably take the average person 20-30mins but I'm slow so took a little longer. You can get a bus or taxi if you prefer which are reasonable. We went into the town of Paphos one day but preferred to stay around the bars local to the hotel and the harbour area. There are various water sports right outside the hotel and lots of trips you can do. The hotel has a Spa onsite if you wish to have a massage, facial etc I really can't stress enough how lovely this hotel is and we will definitely be back!More
2 Week Holiday In The Sun
The hotel was fantastic! The location is perfect - 15 mins from Paphos airport and short bus trip to the center of Paphos, the bus stop is just around the corner from the hotel - 5 euros for all day travel around the region. The hotel is situated right on the beach front with it's own beach, however the Paphos region is not renowned for it's golden sandy beaches.....There are plenty of things to see and do, either by bus, car or organised trip dependent upon personal preferences. If your interested in history, then there is an abundance of places to visit from Castles to Greek Myth to vast Roman Archaeological sites. There are plenty of boat trips around the area, some of which are cheap enough to pick up from the harbour area. If you want nice sandy beaches, then be prepared to travel a few hours to the South Eastern part of the Island (Protarus/Ayia Napa). The hotel is lovely/inviting and is maintained to a high standard. The air con is nice and cool, it needed to be as temperatures soared north of 40 degrees C! The reception team were very nice and friendly and catered to all requirements. Beach towels were free to use and you could them every few days at the reception area. The bedrooms were reasonably equipped, with tea/coffee making facilities, a mini bar with soft drinks/water (which were free and topped up everyday - nice touch) and the room was spacious enough and cleaned thoroughly. There is a safe in the room, the only criticism being that it costs 3 euros per day, but wasn't big enough to house an average sized laptop? Each room, certainly on our side of the hotel was positioned for lovely sea views and had it's own balcony. Beware of the lifts - some had a mind of their own! Lift doors closing too soon, you would "call" a lift and it would go in the opposite direction! The restaurant was very nice and was also air conditioned (as long as the doors and windows were closed!). The staff were extremely friendly and were efficient in their work. Dirty plates and glasses were cleared away quickly and you never had to wait for a table. The food was excellent, of high quality and hot - the hotel employed themed food nights everyday, so the variation of food was wide ranging and catered for everyone's palate and appetite! The standard of food and variation was also available at dinner times. We did try the Japanese Restaurant, which was available by booking throughout the whole holiday, however we were somewhat disappointed mainly due to the close proximity of the outside entertainment as it was too noisy and the windows and doors were wide open so the air con was not efficient and was allowing amplification of the noise from outside. Another miss-hap was that dirty plates were not taken away before the next course came out. I'm sure these are little things that can be sorted out to make it a nice, unique experience. The bar service was extremely good, you were discouraged from going directly to the bar, as the waiters/waitresses would come and take your order and deliver drinks directly to your table and were extremely friendly and efficient (special mention to Andrea, Maria and Joanna). All the drinks were more than palatable, even cocktails such as Mojito's were available on all inclusive. There was limited entertainment in the main Fontana bar area and consisted of live musicians for three nights of the week - saxophonist, violinist and pianist who were all very good, but unfortunately were lost on most of the audience as they seemed to be engrossed on there mobile phones most of the day as usual...... There was outside entertainment at night towards the rear of the hotel, catering for both families and couples alike. We didn't attend on many occasions but what we did see seemed to appeal. There seemed to be plenty of activities going on during the day for both adults and children, but again we chose not to participate in exchange for some quiet time and relaxation. There was a gym, spa facilities and indoor pool, which we didn't use but looked like a well equipped area. There are two swimming pools either side of the hotel, one with water slides and inflatables allowed to cater for children and families and a separate pool on the other side predominantly for adults with no inflatables/toys allowed which is nice if you just want quiet and relaxation. Again, there was waiter/waitresses service for drinks around the pool - pretty much every 20 - 30 minutes (special mention to Harry!). Last, but certainly not least is the customer service. This was second to none. Christakis (the general manager) certainly puts the hotels team main focus on ensuring the customer is ok and to cater for any guest requirements. There were at least four people (including Chris) who would ask you (at least once a day) if everything was ok and if anything was required. They couldn't do enough for you and would spend time with everyone advising best places to visit, activities and anything else you needed to know. If anyone wants to learn about getting customer satisfaction right, then they need to visit the Louis Imperial Beach Hotel.More

First time to Pathos, and the Louis Imperial Beach was fantastic, best food we've had in an all inclusive hotel. The staff we're very helpful and friendly. Even Prosecco is part of the all inc, and was greeted with a cold glass of Prosecco and beer for my hubby. In our room there was flowers, fruit and a bottle of wine. The mini fridge was always topped up with soft drink. Would definitely go back.More
