Hotel Louis Imperial Beach

The Louis Imperial is a good choice for beach and pool lovers – it’s got a great swimming pool and it sidles up next to a Blue Flag stretch of sand.

This hotel is surrounded by gardens, which slope down to a Blue Flag beach. Location-wise, Paphos is a 20-minute walk along a scenic beachside path, plus there’s a clutch of bars and restaurants even closer.

Interiors are sleek and contemporary – the bedrooms were all revamped in 2013 – while outside you’ve got a good-sized pool and plenty of space for sports.

perfect easter week break

flew to cyprus easter saturday and stayed at the Imperial Beach for a week. The location is set overlooking the beach, with a coastal path to the harbour which is approximately 20 minutes walk. The only negative i could find with the hotel was the room lay out. We had booked a family room and i was disappointed to find there was no division in the room to allow the kids a bit of privacy, but this is my only complaint. we found the food to be of a high standard, with a great variety which is often lacking on all inclusive packages. the pools, lobby area were great and the best attribute this hotel has, and which would make me go back, are all the staff. from the welcoming party on arrival, the reception team to the cleaners, the waiting staff and the best bar staff i have encountered for a long time. the staff here really made our holiday, nothing was too much trouble, customer service at its best.More

Great entertainment and sports activities.

Came here for a week with two teenage girls. They had a great time with all the activities the animation team provided. Great location to walk into Paphos. Lovely selection of food for breakfast and dinner where staff were always attentive. Fantastic weather and even used the hop on/off bus for a tour around the paphos area. Hope to return again next Easter. Thank you again.More

A really lovely hotel and holiday

We stayed here for a week from the 28th March. The hotel is in a brilliant setting, but the thing that makes it so lovely is the staff. All the staff across the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We travelled with out son, who loved all the entertainment staff who were great with him. The evening entertainment was great fun too, especially "Grease", and the wonderful patter during the evening bingo, thank you David. We couldn't recommend this hotel more highly and will certainly love to return in the future.More

A pleasant Spring Break

My husband and I spent a week at this hotel beginning March 15th 2014. On arrival we were welcomed very warmly by staff and offered a drink and snacks - very welcome indeed! Check in was very swift and room easy to find. However, we had booked a twin room, and were very disappointed to find we had been given a double room (very small bed) in error. I phoned reception to see whether we could be moved, but they said they could do nothing until the next day. They offered to send housekeeping up to make up the extra divan for that night, which we accepted, and true to their word the maid was in our room within five minutes to make up the extra bed. Management promised that we would be able to move rooms by one o'clock the next day and again on the dot of one o'clock all our bags were moved by the hotel staff to our new room. It was not a perfect start to our holiday, but I always feel that it is a sign of a good hotel that when a problem does arise it is dealt with very swiftly and professionally. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Always loads of hot water for showers, and a lovely welcome gift of wine and fruit in our room. Food in the buffet restaurant was ok - not great but ok for a week. My favourite was the breakfast - for me in particular the Cypriot breakfast which you put together yourself from the lovely yoghurt together with a varied selection of fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts, honey etc - delicious. I can't say the same for the English cooked breakfast which I tried only once. I could not understand why the hotel was using a sort of re-constituted bacon. I have neither heard of or seen this before, and although it looks ok from a distance, once on your plate it looks pretty unpalatable. If the reason for this is cost with maybe back bacon being too expensive then I am sure most guests would rather have well cooked streaky bacon instead. I know I would! With regards to the Asian restaurant, I have only high praise for all those who work there. I have a food allergy, and in general am used to having a limited menu choice when I eat out. Not here. The waitress said I should pick whatever I wanted and she would make sure it would not contain any of the foods I can't eat. Sure enough I wasn't left disappointed. There may have been a little too much for my appetite, but everything was cooked freshly and beautifully. Thank you very much! With regards to the entertainment for which I have read some of the criticisms.. Yes, the animation team are not equal to a high end West End show troupe , but they were really working and trying hard. As it was so early in the season, there were only four members in the team and it was still a learning experience for them. But they do have talent particularly the young female singer, and they were all extremely friendly and willing to help with any problems you might have. As for the outside entertainers brought in by the hotel I actually thought they were a lot more professional than entertainment we have "suffered" in the past at other resorts.. With regards to bar service - this was second to none! All the staff were extremely friendly and although they were busy there was always a smile or little joke. We were also amazed to have pool bar service. We have actually stayed in some five star hotels where you do not get this. The quality of the drinks was in general fine, although some of the wine served at mealtimes left a lot to be desired. The location of the hotel is pretty good. About 20-25 minute walk to the edge of town with another 15 mins to reach the port. This is a lovely walk particularly on the coastal path, although you can also do it in roughly the same time on the road. Would we go back? Yes but I am not sure that I would opt for the "All Inclusive" particularly if it was for a two week break as I think the food would be too monotonous.More
