Everything about the hotel was really good .food good ,rooms good ,
Staff very friendly and accomadating .we were all inclusive any kind of drink we wanted.
We didn't need the entertainment we sat in the bar at night and played cards or people watched.
Would return again .
Pathos it's self seemed a little tired but we still enjoyed the harbour bars and shops.
I found a little church at sunset point which was beautiful.More
A great week away.
We visited the Louis Imperial in October 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The hotel staff on our arrival were very helpful. Everything was clearly explained and there was plenty of food left out despite our late check in. The room was spacious and well designed and provided us with a stunning sunset over the sea in the evening. The hotel was generally clean and well maintained. The beach can be found just a short walk from the hotel's pool area however, it was small (and the water was shallow) and not particularly pleasant to swim in (But take snokels- there are lots of small fish).
The hotel's food was very good. There is a wide choice of food and themed nights several times a week.Despite this, we found the Japanese restaurant somewhat disappointing. There wasn't that greater contrast between flavours. (But it might just be that it wasn't to our tastes).
It was difficult to tell whether the entertainment was genuinely poor quality and cheesy or whether it was supposed to be that way. David was quite funny and flamboyant while the Adele tribute act was out of tune, loud and left you deaf by the end of the evening.
The hotel is quite close to the town centre (20 min walk) and there is a reasonable number of things to do in the nearby area including boat trips, historic sites, museums, restaurants and shops and markets. I also reccomend the red bus tours. They provide you with a good level of local information while providing you with a method of transport which travels all over the town. More
Excellent Family Orientated Holiday
An excellent family orientated hotel, which is immaculately clean with contemporary decor and facilities.
It has a carpeted hallway to the rooms which means that you are not disturbed by the sound of footsteps of other guests walking to their rooms. A definite plus when on holiday with a baby / toddler.
Service from all staff was outstanding. From the front desk and friendly welcome, the bar staff, maitre de in the restaurant and cleaning staff alike. They went out of their way to make sure you felt valued: 5* service in my opinion.
The rooms were smaller than we expected but very modern, clean and with great facilities. Cleaning service was available every day and the staff would come back if the room was occupied when they attended.
The huge open plan restaurant and buffet area always had something to offer - food was outstanding quality.
Also, there were plenty of highchairs available for families and we never had to wait to get one. The maitre de or staff would always meet you at the door and find you a table. Without request, it was noted by the hotel that it was my husband's birthday during our stay and they arranged a cake to be brought to the table following our evening meal (complete with sparkler and all staff singing happy birthday!!!).
The swimming pool was lovely and an indoor pool is available during Sep - Apr for all (Apr-Sep adults only). We really appreciated the fact that there was a separate area where people without children could relax - not that we used it.
The only negatives are that the standard family room has no partition or sliding doors to create a separate child sleeping area which meant that as soon as they went to bed so did we. Shame, as it would have been better to have an area we could close off to allow us to relax without having to switch all the lights off! Also, the balcony had no light - this could have provided us with a seating area at night away from our little one if there had been.
However, all in all an excellent hotel that I would highly recommend for both the facilities and the staff. We will definitely go back. More
