Hotel Louis Imperial Beach

The Louis Imperial is a good choice for beach and pool lovers – it’s got a great swimming pool and it sidles up next to a Blue Flag stretch of sand.

This hotel is surrounded by gardens, which slope down to a Blue Flag beach. Location-wise, Paphos is a 20-minute walk along a scenic beachside path, plus there’s a clutch of bars and restaurants even closer.

Interiors are sleek and contemporary – the bedrooms were all revamped in 2013 – while outside you’ve got a good-sized pool and plenty of space for sports.

a visit with a difference!

We recently returned from this hotel after our 11th visit since 2006. Apart from 2 visits, we have always gone there in November when the average temperature is 25 and the clientele are of the older age group like us. After so many visits it is great to see many of the same people returning then like we do, many of whom are now friends. Catching up on peoples lives while relaxing in the sun, eating excellent food and having an occasional(!!) drink is a great pre-winter warmer. Don't worry if you know no-one because you soon will. The excellent, ever smiling, ever attentive staff will soon make you welcome and happy and if you join in with the good entertainment activities you'll soon find like-minded friends. There is an excellent choice of food, both in the general as well as the Asian restaurant.... you will certainly have weight to lose before Xmas! Dressing for dinner is also a shorts and flip flops here. New for the future are plans for another swimming pool with bar. Looking forward to that. So what was the difference this time? Just a little matter of my husband needing urgent medical care following a heart attack! This meant the need to extend our stay and as the hotel was about to close, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and new accommodation was arranged for us by them. From the Manager downwards, any help I required was given immediately....often before even I knew I needed it. Flowers, cards, visits to hospital by staff members, concern for his and my health.....I could not fault the care we were given by all. My previous reviews have said that a visit here is like a visit to family and we were certainly made to feel that this is just what we members. Thankyou is too small a word to express our gratitude. I still have the same room tip: It is worth the extra for a sea view room.......fabulous sunsets too. Only one thing worries me about the excellence of this hotel.....dont all go booking for November until my booking is in!!More

Yet another to notch holiday at the Imperial Beach

We have recently returned from the Imperial Beach after our 11th visit. The hotel remains outstanding on all counts. The hotel with gardens and pool and various bars and restaurants offers continued first class ambience. However the pleasantness friendliness and efficiency of the staff was the icing on the cake.More

Great Expectations

We visited late Nov.14, neither my wife or I had been to Cyprus before and had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised helped more than a little by this excellent hotel and their staff, nothing is to much trouble, the reception, bar and waiting staff were brilliant! The room was very comfortable, the food varied and tasty, the local alcohol very good on the all inclusive tariff. The building works currently ongoing next door were not a problem at all and the beach side walk into Paphos was very relaxing but if you're not feeling energetic the local buses were excellent and cheap!More

Stayed here in Sept 14. reception staff first class, nothing to much trouble, even the handy man is still there at 10pm for any repairs. food and rooms first class. There has been mixed reviews on here about room floors etc. I have never noticed this. (I have been there twice and already booked for next year). Food always plentiful, varied and hot, (apart from the ice cream that is). Animation team do a great job, you always know they are there and what is on, but they are never "in your face". Bar staff and waitresses always keep your glasses full, yes the local spirits are a little weak compared to UK type, but that is a minor thing. "when in Rome, etc". If you want UK beers and spirits, stay in UK. Ignore all the bad reviews on here, this hotel is definitely a 4*More
