Hotel Louis Imperial Beach

The Louis Imperial is a good choice for beach and pool lovers – it’s got a great swimming pool and it sidles up next to a Blue Flag stretch of sand.

This hotel is surrounded by gardens, which slope down to a Blue Flag beach. Location-wise, Paphos is a 20-minute walk along a scenic beachside path, plus there’s a clutch of bars and restaurants even closer.

Interiors are sleek and contemporary – the bedrooms were all revamped in 2013 – while outside you’ve got a good-sized pool and plenty of space for sports.

Cyprus Rocks

Sorry a little late in doing this review, spent 11 days at the Imperial in mid September. This hotel does provide some quality touches, from booking in at reception with drinks provided whilst carrying out this boring task, to be able to eat all day if you needed to, to cold towels by the pool. And no wrist bans for the all inclusive? We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking pool and sea view much the better side of the hotel. The rooms are light, airy and spacious kept very clean with a stocked fridge every day of water and soft drinks. Never really found the lifts a problem as I have previously read a little quick at times closing but always working. The food was good with a variety of choice as you would expect from a 4 star a little repetitive the 2nd week but always a good quality. There was inside and outside dining what ever you preferred always a table found for you. The so called dress code was mainly adhered to but most people looked very smart there is nothing wrong with a pair of dress shorts in the evening heat. The entertainment was just about ok Boy George worth a watch we found the bingo good fun if you like bingo 5 euros a strip with cash prizes, David the entertainment boss and bingo caller very funny, a little camp but never offensive. The drinks are not the best with flat lager (keo) and off tasting mixers not to my taste at the pool bar. Bottled beer ok in indoor bar and shorts and mixers provided a lot better. The beach is very small and stony but the grassy areas are good with plenty of sun loungers The pool is very good and quite in September after the school holidays Its a nice 20min coastal walk to Paphos we found a really friendly sports bar called Michaels 5mins at front of hotel road if you like your football. We met some lovely people big shout out to Karen hope to see you in MK shopping one day!! My only moan would be the free lobby WFI was next to useless I don't know whether the paid for service was any better as I didn't need it that bad. The hotel overall was very good with excellent efficient staff that do look after your every needs We would come back again and I thank everybody that made our holiday experience memorableMore

Brilliant Hotel

We stayed at the Louis Imperial 11th Oct for 7 nights. This hotel is superb, the rooms are clean, the food was great could always find something to eat, the restaurant is nice and spacious especially with the nice outdoor space. Swimming pool and gardens kept nice and clean and the waiter service was brilliant very pleasant staff always happy to get you a drink. The animation team worked hard and the entertainment was just enough, really enjoyed the evening entertainment. It was nice to always be able to get a sunbed without having to get up early and reserve one. The hotel has very pleasant and helpful staff we would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it.More

Sisters Wedding & Holiday

I stayed at the Louis Imperial from 10th - 17th Sept 2014. The hotel is outstanding, extremely clean, modern, spacey, well air conned. The swimming pool and the hotel grounds are kept very clean and the beach is just a few steps away. The hotel staff were brilliant too, really could not fault anyone or anything. The food is amazing, so much choice & variety (and I'm a pretty fussy eater and I never struggled once to find something I liked). I didn't have much to do with the reps, however the welcome meeting was great and very informative. I did the Wave Dancer trip which the hotel / reps organised which was such an amazing day, def recommend that. The hotel is situated very centrally to most places either a short walk, taxi ride or bus ride away. and just next to the hotel is a convenience store which sell pretty much everything. The evening entertainment was great, with a great variety of things going on, but bloody hell the drinks from the bar are strong to say the least, they def don't skimp on alcohol that's for sure - however we are on holiday so who cares haha all staff so welcoming and helpful too, never leave you without a drink. Right the holiday itself was perfect but the reason for this trip was for my sisters wedding (Charlotte & Jamie Stanley). WOW what a day. From the very beginning at around 11am when we headed down to the hairdressers (onsite) to the moment we all fell into bed drunk and exhausted more than 12 hours later there was not one thing that could of been done better or anything i could complain about. My sisters words were she felt like a ''princess'' for the day and what more could you ask for on your wedding day. Julie the hairdressers did an absolutely wonderful job (bride & 2 bridesmaids all with very different hair types etc), and Julie you were right about that hair spray - not a hair out of place even days later - seriously thank you so much you are such a lovely lady. Next was the make up artist ( really sorry i cant remember her name) but again she did a wonderful job on all 3 of us....we all 3 have very different skin types and our makeup was completely flawless - and again lasted all day - thank you. Nicole and Caroline (i think, apologies im useless with names) did an absolutely wonder job with all the preparations and organising, everything was exactly how my sister had explained. We were given a kind of schedule (as to what time everything would be happening) - that was spot on, literally to the second. The wedding service was perfect. The photographer - well wow we have the most amazing photo's and he turns them around for you to view so quickly - def recommend him. We then had a magician come in while the bride and groom were taken away to have their sunset pics done. The Magician (Joe) is actually the magician / host on the wave dancer. He was a very personal touch to the day - the kids (and adults haha) loved his magic tricks - kept us entertained really well for about 90 mins. We then went to have our sit down meal which was sectioned off separately to the rest of the guests (again tables were dressed beautifully). Couldn't fault the service we had during this time, glasses were filled within seconds of finishing them / taking a sip. Overall this was just one fantastic time - thank you to everyone who was part of the holiday / wedding. You all did such a wonderful job. Planning on returning next year - see you all then. The only one thing i would suggest and seriously its only something small and its me as i'm a phone geek - just wish there was WiFi in more places other than in the lobby area. By the pool or in the bedrooms would be ideal - like I say this isn't a complaint just a comment from a phone mad person haha. Thank again everyoneMore

Holidays

Just spent 14 nights at the Louis Imperial Beach Hotel, Paphos, Cyprus. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice,Cleaned every day and clean sheets on the beds, coffee and tea making facilities TV balcony which over looked the entrance and road, The restaurant was nice plenty of room to have your meals to sit inside or outside, the food nice not a great selection, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, there was a large outdoor swimming pool and a small indoor pool which I used to cool off, plenty of sun beds around the main pool and some on the grassed area, the hotel beach was partly rocks and sand with a small swimming area, if you walked along from the hotel beach about 200 yards there was a public beach once you got past the seaweed it was ok to swim, two points which we thought was a bit naughty for a all inclusive hotel you had to pay for the beach towels and the safe, you got your money back for the towels but not for safe, ( ps If we had to mark it out of [10] we would give it [ 7 ].
