We stayed in October 2014, and it was really great. It was a shame that there was quite noisy building work next door but we just tuned it out and didn't let it spoil our break.
Room - We had a nice room facing the sea overlooking the pool and the sunset was just wonderful from this angle. It was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfy. No free Wi-Fi in the rooms.
Food - The buffet was excellent, loads of choice and very tasty. We also ate twice at the Japanese (included in AI).
Drinks - The rose and red wine were nice (the best I've had at a AI hotel), not keen on the dry white. The cocktails were nice too, best served in the lobby bar.
Entertainment - We are not the kind of people who like the evening entertainment anywhere, but we watched the caberet which was funny. We did more of the day time games, archery, pool gymnastics, shuffle board, boules and darts. The entertainment team are so friendly and we had loads of fun playing the games.
Pool - Nice and clean, decent enough area to swim in. Shallow and deep areas.
Sea and beach - Fairly small but nice, quite rocky but you can swim out a fair way if you wish.
Also there is nice garden areas where the sun beads are located and you can get some near trees you can swap between sun and shade, really nice.
Overall we had lovely food, great fun and a good relaxing time.More

All inclusive fun
Just back from 7 days staying at the Louis Imperial on an all inclusive basis. The hotel was great, clean room super view across the sea, great facilities (tennis courts, gym, indoor pool, activities all day and spa service on request) and a wide range of options in two restaurants. The walk to the harbour takes about 25 minutes but is worth it to view the UNESCO site. We found that compared to some of the other hotels the grounds were spacious and when using the sun beds you were noton top of each other unlike some hotels closer to the harbour.
The staff could not do enough for you and the only downside was the building works next door but the sun and blue sky made up for it.
We had a great time and the icing on the holiday was the surprise birthday cake from the hotel to wish me many happy returns, a lovely thought thanks.More

2 weeks in Paphos
Wanting to take a late break we returned to Cyprus, this time the Louis Imperial Beach hotel. We were impressed by the hotel itself, our room, the staff who were brilliant, all contributing to a realy restful and enjoyable break. The food was great, in both restaurants, so much so that towards the end of the holiday we were having to take it easy!!
The all inclusive worked well, with the possible exception of the alcohol which, being local lacked some quality. However, that is not unusual in all inclusive.
All in all a graet break and we will go back.More

Returned on Sunday from 2 weeks at the Imperial Beach. Had a brilliant time. Food is excellent, hotel is lovely, staff could not be more helpful. Agree with the other reviewers only drawback was the building work going on next door, although didn't let it spoil my holiday. The hotel management and Thomson reps did their best to try & resolve the problem. Would definitely consider returning to this hotel.More
