The Hotel Avanti gives you easy access to the beach and Paphos' town centre. There's a lot going on back at the property, too, with a big pool and an impressive list of sports, activities and entertainment.
One of the Hotel Avanti’s major draws is its location. The property is a short walk from the beach, and you’ll find shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Better still, you’re within easy reach of Paphos’ harbour and pretty old town – it’ll take you around 20 minutes on foot.
The swimming pool also deserves some credit. It’s a big, curvy number that snakes its way around a terrace that’s dotted with loungers, parasols and palms. There’s a swim-up bar, as well, so you can sip coffee and cocktails without moving from the water. Smaller guests aren’t forgotten, either – they get their own pint-sized pool.
In terms of what else is going on, days are pretty lively, with games, sports and competitions laid on. It’s a similar vibe come sundown – the restaurant hosts regular themed nights, with Greek, Mediterranean and Cypriot cuisine. Plus, karaoke, live music and dancing are all on the agenda. Guests may also use the facilities of Avanti Village.

Only time we've ever gone back to the same hotel!
We stayed here during May half term and had a lovely time. Loved the pool bar (especially the swim up area!). We thought the location was great; near enough to walk to the harbour (it is a longish walk, about 25 minutes) but with restaurants and bars much nearer if you didn't fancy the distance. We liked the hotel better than the sister resort as it was quieter, but we did eat at the Avanti Village a few times and thought it was very good. Breakfast was good and plentiful and it was lovely to sit outside and eat. The bar area is nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We are going back next year as we just don't think there is anything to improve on, especially as the rates are reasonable. I agree with other comments that this hotel is really clean and the pool area and grounds are well kept too. We even managed to get sunbeds every day, although as always there was plenty of towels down at 7am happening; not the hotels fault though. We love Paphos as we had our honeymoon here; it's much busier than it was, but for a relaxing family holiday in the sun is hard to beat.More
Value for money
Very nice seasonal staff and big well kept pool area! Breakfast was good, with a lot of choices and nice inside and outdoor tables to sit at. Also spa and hairdressing services as well as gym was handy and good enough. I recommend especially for every body who wants to stay a little longer than only 1 week!More

This was our second stay at the avanti and it was even better than the first. We can't fault anything or anybody at the avanti the staff Are amazing especially Renatg the restaurant manager.A big thank you all for making our stay so memorable. We will be back in September. More
I stayed there in September with a friend and we had a fantastic relaxing time. The rooms were spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. The cleaners never seemed to stop. Plenty of choice for breakfast and all well cooked and hot as required. The pool was great and the best thing was there was never a shortage of loungers and plenty of places to put them- on the grass or round the pool. There was a shop selling basics including English newspapers and drinks although there was no fridge so the drinks weren't cold but that was easily. Solved by using the room fridge. We were on bed and breakfast basis but did have a meal there one night which was a buffet and excellent value. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby which we used. However by the time we returned we had missed most of the free evening entertainment but what we did see was excellent. There is free wifi throughout the hotel but sadly my iPhone chose to play up. However I then used the pay as you go internet but that worked out very expensive for me as one euro per ten minutes. Not the hotels fault though but I thought the charge quite steep! One thing I liked was the weighting machine to weigh your suitcase for the return journey. Very useful. The staff were really friendly and attentive especially the bar staff. The bar was great to relax in. A big inside bar/ reception and an outside area. The hotel is in a great location. We used nearby restaurants and bars. For lunch and dinner most of the time but did have lunch at the hotel a few times which was great. We also sampled various cocktails throughout the day by the Pool and watched all the organised pool games and other games eg archery and boules. We intended to join in one day but were too lazy just relaxing and reading our books. The owners have a welcome party every week and provide drinks and canapés and chat to the guests which was really nice. We did go over to the avanti holiday village one day but didn't like it as much. The rooms we had were very large with a fridge and aircon and scrupulously clean. We came home having had a wonderful relaxing time and feeling that we would certainly visit there again and hopefully soon!More
