Hotel Avanti

The Hotel Avanti gives you easy access to the beach and Paphos' town centre. There's a lot going on back at the property, too, with a big pool and an impressive list of sports, activities and entertainment.

One of the Hotel Avanti’s major draws is its location. The property is a short walk from the beach, and you’ll find shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Better still, you’re within easy reach of Paphos’ harbour and pretty old town – it’ll take you around 20 minutes on foot.

The swimming pool also deserves some credit. It’s a big, curvy number that snakes its way around a terrace that’s dotted with loungers, parasols and palms. There’s a swim-up bar, as well, so you can sip coffee and cocktails without moving from the water. Smaller guests aren’t forgotten, either – they get their own pint-sized pool.

In terms of what else is going on, days are pretty lively, with games, sports and competitions laid on. It’s a similar vibe come sundown – the restaurant hosts regular themed nights, with Greek, Mediterranean and Cypriot cuisine. Plus, karaoke, live music and dancing are all on the agenda. Guests may also use the facilities of Avanti Village.

Fantastic holiday!

Just booked our summer holiday at the hotel for June 2015. We are a young couple (23 and 25) and love what the hotel has to offer and this will be our second visit. The hotel and staff are great and the pool is fantastic , plenty of sun beds and the added bonus of a swim up pool bar ! The animation team provide great activities throughout the day including archery, water aerobics and water polo. I loved how this hotel is family run and this is made very personal with a welcome cocktail evening. If you visit the hotel you must check out the Avanti village where there is another great pool and activities which we also used a couple of times in our stay. The Avanti village also has some great restaurants in, we loved 'Little Italy' and the 'Captain Pub' and will definitely be visiting both in June :). We are really looking forward to another 2 weeks at the Avanti. Bring on June !! More

AJccfc,

More 3 stars than 4 stars....

Hotel facilities are very dated and not modern compared to the other 4 star hotels in the area. Would honestly not class it as 4 stars but 3 stars. More suited to the older generation than the younger ones (we are 27). When we went, over 80% of the people staying at the hotel were at retirement age. Evening entertainment is also not very good. The pool area however is lovely, can't fault it.More

Just booked our next holiday at the Avanti

Looking forward to our third holiday staying at the Avanti. Holidayed September 2013 & 2014 once again found the family run Avanti excellent. Location, rooms, reception, pool area, service & staff first class. All areas of hotel are kept spotless .Recommend pre-booking a late checkout room if you have night flight home.More

Only time we've ever gone back to the same hotel!

We stayed here during May half term and had a lovely time. Loved the pool bar (especially the swim up area!). We thought the location was great; near enough to walk to the harbour (it is a longish walk, about 25 minutes) but with restaurants and bars much nearer if you didn't fancy the distance. We liked the hotel better than the sister resort as it was quieter, but we did eat at the Avanti Village a few times and thought it was very good. Breakfast was good and plentiful and it was lovely to sit outside and eat. The bar area is nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We are going back next year as we just don't think there is anything to improve on, especially as the rates are reasonable. I agree with other comments that this hotel is really clean and the pool area and grounds are well kept too. We even managed to get sunbeds every day, although as always there was plenty of towels down at 7am happening; not the hotels fault though. We love Paphos as we had our honeymoon here; it's much busier than it was, but for a relaxing family holiday in the sun is hard to beat.More

Value for money

Very nice seasonal staff and big well kept pool area! Breakfast was good, with a lot of choices and nice inside and outdoor tables to sit at. Also spa and hairdressing services as well as gym was handy and good enough. I recommend especially for every body who wants to stay a little longer than only 1 week!More
