The Hotel Avanti gives you easy access to the beach and Paphos' town centre. There's a lot going on back at the property, too, with a big pool and an impressive list of sports, activities and entertainment.
One of the Hotel Avanti’s major draws is its location. The property is a short walk from the beach, and you’ll find shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Better still, you’re within easy reach of Paphos’ harbour and pretty old town – it’ll take you around 20 minutes on foot.
The swimming pool also deserves some credit. It’s a big, curvy number that snakes its way around a terrace that’s dotted with loungers, parasols and palms. There’s a swim-up bar, as well, so you can sip coffee and cocktails without moving from the water. Smaller guests aren’t forgotten, either – they get their own pint-sized pool.
In terms of what else is going on, days are pretty lively, with games, sports and competitions laid on. It’s a similar vibe come sundown – the restaurant hosts regular themed nights, with Greek, Mediterranean and Cypriot cuisine. Plus, karaoke, live music and dancing are all on the agenda. Guests may also use the facilities of Avanti Village.
Indulge in the buffet on offer, or pick a tasty dish from the à la carte menu. Themed evenings mean there is something different on offer every day, with a variety of Greek, international, Cypriot, Chinese, Mediterranean and Italian dishes. There's also a special menu just for children.
We have been to the Avanti ten times over the last 15 years and it never disappoints. From the first minute of arrival to the last on departure you are made to feel welcome and the friendly staff can never do enough to make your stay brilliant. Each time we come back we get greeted like family - just like it should be. The facilities are good, the layout spot on and when we go in June it is always peaceful (important to my disabled wife). I was never the sort of person to keep going back to one place but the Avanti changed my mind, it probably would do the same for you too - why not find out ?More
First visit to Cyprus
Just home from one week in this excellent family run hotel which is spotless. The staff are all very friendly and can't do enough to ensure your needs are met. The food is second to none and the variety is amazing even the fussiest diner couldn't find fault. I will definitely be returning next April and if I wasn't booked elsewhere in September would be back then too. If like me you like to be pampered a visit to the beauty salon is a must where the girls go to great lengths to make you feel special and are very professional. Overall the best holiday I have had, loved the country the people and wouldn't stay anywhere other than the Avanti.More

All of the staff and facilities were exceptional. I would highly recommend. The location is perfect for popping into the harbour and the beach is close by. I will definitely return to the avanti againMore
Lovely hotel, met at reception with drinks. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hotel, rooms and pool area spotlessly clean.
Breakfast buffet had very good choices and the freshly cooked omelettes were great.
Nice walk along coast into Paphos although bus goes regularly from just outside hotel.
Overall a very good stay.More
Great hotel and great location
Stayed here mid-August 2014. Not too far from airport and very close to the beach. Went b&b so didn't sample the evening meals, but found a lot of brilliantly restaurants nearby which the kids loved. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. All staff are very friendly and helpful and the wifi in rooms is a bonus. The swimming pool is huge and again the kids loved it.
Would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely return!More
