This place is only 5 minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.
The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.
On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.
Open for dinner at the Avanti Hotel next door. There are children's meals and daily themed nights - Chinese, a carvery, barbecue, Cypriot and international meals. There's a children's menu and highchairs available too. Gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers when dining.
1-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 5, with a double or twin beds in the bedroom, 2 extra beds in the living room, also used as sofas, plus a camp-bed suitable for a child up to 12 years and a cot if required. Kitchenette has a fridge, oven, grill and 2 electric rings, plus the satellite TV has a cartoon channel.
Although Borat was not there calling everyone in for water volleyball the replacement entertainer provided a good balance of entertainment vs. being eft alone.
A massive swimming pool, plenty of sun-beds so no need to put your towels out at the crack of dawn - in fact they even provided the towels for you!
Peaceful, plenty to do, and can even go over to the main sister hotel and the evening entertainment.
Breakfast looked good - maybe next time - if you committed to 3 mornings or more it was 4 euros per breakfast for adults - fruit, meats, cooked, juices, bread, etc.
Warm welcome with free drinks and nibbles - very friendly and helpful staff.
Friendly for those less able and good for young family with volleyball court and separate pool with volleyball net over it. Also a 'beach-style' end to the main pool.
Plenty of local restaurants.
Why not try the local regular bus service to get around - even to/from airport (612, Paphos harbour terminus - Paphos airport) with timetable on the Internet.
We love it.
Hard to find anything to moan about.More

Great for couples out of season
My husband booked this hotel through Thomson, having checked it out on various search engines - -including Trip advisor.
When we arrived we were welcomed by the receptionist and given our key. We were unable to operate the air-con but this was remedied quickly.
We had the best nights sleep every night - beds were excellent!
The apartment was very spacious and clean.
The only thing I would advise is that the bathroom comes off the bedroom - which if more than two are sharing, it could encroach on the privacy.
The swimming pool was lovely and plenty of sunbeds. I would say it could be cramped in high season. BUT remember the beach is just across the road.
The shop was okay but it did not stock much in the way of meat, or nice ready meals.
Prices were only fractionally high than other local shops.
Onsite tavern was good, clean and staff super.
One outstanding thing of the hotel was the aqua keep fit. The instructor was of an outstanding level (I attend DW sports Gym and have attended many classes) He is an asset to the Hotel.
Although the hotel was full, it was not cramped - as the rooms were mostly occupied by couples and not families - as in high season.
The WIFI was a great tough.
As was a safe. - chargeable....
We did eat in the Avanti hotel BUT it was not great. Okay. There was a choice each evening. But it all seemed very much the same and some was rather warmish rather than hot. The deserts were rather sad. The gateaux's were different colours but tasted similar.
They did have a different theme each evening but with Cypriot food/dishes adapted. A shame really as if they had it set out separately with authentic dishes , along side lovely Cypriot dishes, it would be better.
All my comments I have made here have been made to the hotel group and the director has contacted me regarding my comments, wishing to look into them. A very positive action.
Do not think I was unhappy staying at the Avanti, quite the opposite. It was fantastic and would stay there again, tomorrow if funds allowed!More
The perfect place for a family holiday!
We came here as a group of almost 50 to stay in the run up to our wedding. If you are coming to Paphos as a large group, then this is the place to stay.
The apartments are great, clean, with plenty of room. Trying to find rooms can be a bit confusing at first, but fine when you get the hang of it.
The pool area is absolutely fantastic. It is massive. We were always in large groups and there was always plenty of sunbeds available together for us. The pool bar is a great sunspot for socialising with a drink.
The snack bar is also good, with a good range for breakfast and snacks. The fact you can also use the hotel restaurant is also great.
The surrounding are has lots to offer, with the brilliant Fiesta Bar only a 5 minute stroll away.
The staff also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Avanti Village to anyone. More
Lovely holiday village
My friends and I stayed at the village for two weeks starting 1st October. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped and clean. There is a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, two hot plates and a hair drier. The only complaint I have, as the third adult, sleeping in the lounge area, is that there is no storage whatsoever in that room, no wardrobe or drawers, so everything had to be fetched from the bedroom. Possibly the accommodation is better for a family with children. We had a first floor apartment, which had more privacy than the ground floor and I understand that the many cats in the village are inclined to wander into the ground floor apartments if the patio door is left open. The cats themselves are lovely and friendly. We had breakfast in the village and evening meal in the nearby Avanti hotel. Both were very good. Buses into the harbour run very frequently and cost 1.5 euros. However a 5 euro day ticket can be purchased on the bus, with which multiple bus journeys can be made in any one day. I would recommend a visit to the market and to Coral Bay, which has two bays, both nice. Our weather was beautiful, hot and sunny. The village itself is attractively laid out and the pools are good. There are plenty of sun beds, some in the sun and some in the shade. I would recommend the Avanti Village.More

fantastic hotel and staff. very family orientated
What an amazing holiday. Where do I start.. apartments are very spacious and clean. No issues at all. We were in block c which is near to the pool. Our cleaner was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The pool scenes are amazing. We were amazed at the size of the pool. Around the pool was very clean with a park which is secure for the smaller kids.. there was music being played at the pool and various activities throughout the day including pool, table tennis, water aerobics and archery.the entertainment team especially Patrick and the kids club leader were amazing. Evening entertainment varied and was a good selection. The harbour is a 20 minute walk with amazing water sports and boat trips. Marie who was on the bar at night was amazing and so friendly and helpful. We are booking to come back next year if you book through the hotel you get a great price free upgrade to b and b and also 15% off drinksMore
