Avanti Village

This place is only 5 minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.

The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.

On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.

Lovely, large apartements, lots to do.

Spent a week here in October and loved it. Weather was superb. It's very clean, the apartments have two rooms and excellent self catering facilities. It's also very modern. The TV picks up BBC and ITV, and WIFI works in the apartments and was better than I've had in 5 star hotels in Greece. On-site facilities were good if a little expensive, but stright outside there are loads of bars and restaurants and Pathos town is in easy walking distance (and the buses are excellent). One thing to note is that being self catering this does attract families, and hence the swimming pool is quite shallow (1.2m deepest). Perfect for kids, but I would have prefered a deeper pool. Overall this was a great place to stay, great location, great price, just great :) I Would definately go back!More

Excellent resort

Stayed in apartment mid October 2014. The apartment was huge and so clean. Upstairs apartment at far end of 'village'. Excellent quiet location. Balcony very large and lovely view of gardens. Lounge has sofa to convert to double bed and we used to lie and watch tv, which was great. Bed was the most comfortable ever known in holiday location. Housekeeping staff excellent. Would really recommend this location and would definitely return. Pool area excellent. Great experience overall. Did not want to come home - also a first as we are usually ready to go after other holidays. Use the local bus service - excellent value, particularly the day ticket (5 euros up to 11pm).More

Fantastic Holiday

We stayed at Avanti Village for the last week in October (half term). We've stayed here before, same week last year and it was even better this time. We asked for an upstairs room near the pool and we got exactly that. The whole complex is spotlessly clean, the rooms are very well equipped and spacious. The gardens and fruit trees everywhere are lovely. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. One day we returned to our room and the maid had made a crocodile out of the fresh towels, the kids were thrilled and didn't want to use them! We stayed half board, breakfast at the Village and evening meal at the Hotel next door. Wifi is now available throughout the village (much to the delight of our teenage daughter!) and we had no trouble with it at all. We noticed that all guests appeared to be quiet respectful, if we were on our balcony at night there was no noise, people walking past all the time quietly, not like some other all inclusive places we have stayed where it tends to get roudy and drunk at night! We unfortunately had a lot of thunder, lightning and rain during the week but when the sun was out it was great! Definitely will return, definitely highly recommended.More

October Break, Young Couple

Stayed here in October 2014 shortly after my 20th birthday, my girlfriend and I wanted something quiet, relaxing and good weather for the time of year. The apartments are very modern, all the kitchen facilities you need, TV, bedroom, double bed and a bathroom with a decent shower and a bath. Good value for money, there was a market on site, a restraunt/kitchen area to either sit and eat or take away, food here was brilliant, full english breakfast in the morning and at lunch they sold burgers, chips, hot dogs, pizzas, all fresh big portions. all in all a decent week away well worth the money and highly recomended.More
