Avanti Village

This place is only 5 minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.

The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.

On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.

Another excellent stay at Avanti

Its been a week since we got back from 11 nights stay at the Avanti village and we are missing it already. This is our second visit to the village(have also stayed once at Avanti Hotel. Upon arrival we got a swift and friendly check in at reception and found our apartment quite quickly(it was opposite where we stayed the first time) . We had requested a upper floor apartment prior to arrival which our request was kindly met also on our first day of our holiday we recieved 2 small bottles of wine and a welcome back note from the manager. We had no problems at our apartment which was spacious and well maintained and the cleaners were very efficient and friendly. We liked the fact that you got good wifi if needed and BBc1 and Itv great if you got children or a husband like mine!!!! We loved the big pool and it was nice to chill at the pool bar.The pool is great for kids also with the waterfall, lazy river and volleyball net.Plenty of sunbeds so no need to reserve them like some people do!! The grounds were well maintained by the friendly caretakers I am sure we will return to the avanti in the near future.More

Jean & Jim's Lovely Week's Holiday

Returned home last night after a perfect week's holiday at the Avanti Village. Just the two of us on this holiday and it has been one of the best experiences we have had. The Avanti Village is very family orientated but didn't feel outnumbered as there were a lot of couples here too and having spoken to many of them they felt the same as us. The reception staff were quick and efficient and got us through the system very quick. We loved the size of the apartments and it was exactly as described on the website. The domestic staff were very helpful and pleasant and when we had a problem with the TV within 5 minutes of calling reception a maintenance man was at the door and our problem was sorted. Bar staff which were used quite a bit were very friendly. Although we went self catering we had the breakfast buffet on our last morning which we found to be very good value. We spent a lot of time around the pool and never had a problem getting a sun lounger. Fantastic pool. What we also liked is not having to take towels in our luggage as towels for use around the pool are in the apartment and can be changed daily. We found the whole Village very clean and well cared for. We couldn't find anything negative to say except a week was not enough.More

jean c,

Great base

We stayed for one week in a ground floor one bedroom apartment, which was clean and spacious. The kitchen facilities were good - much more than a kitchenette. The apartments are a little dated in style internally. We didn't use the pool really, opting to walk to the sea or the very nice 20 minute walk along the shore into the town instead. The onsite supermarket was well stocked, if a little pricey, and open till late at night which was handy for our late arrival! The staff on reception were very friendly and efficient. More

TillyPanama,

"Just what we needed"

We recently returned from the Avanti Village, which I have to say was perfect for our needs. We hadn't had a holiday abroad for some time and really needed a break. As a couple, it can be sometimes hard to find a resort that has a little bit of life, as well as not being over run, but the Avanti Village was perfect. You have your own apartment which is well appointed and cleaned every day. The pool is large, so never got over crowded, which is a real plus. I advise booking the breakfast option, its a great buffet with everything you may want, and the staff are very friendly as well as helpful. If you like your sea food, then at the bottom of the complex is a restaurant called Ocean Basket, where they serve fantastic sea food at very reasonable prices, really worth a visit. Thank you to the staff at the Avanti Village, it was just what we needed.More

Amazingly relaxing

Returned from 10 days at the Avanti Village on 11th oct and all in all it was an amazing holiday. Went with my niece who is 18 and we both can't thank them enough for a lovely holiday. Booking in was swift and the lady on reception was ver helpful. Our apartment was spacious and clean and the balcony was equally spacious, lovey to have a morning cuppa or last drink of the night. The apartments were well equipped and the cleaner was very efficient, even left us an elephant made from towels one day. Had no problem with sun loungers or umbrellas even though they were fully booked. Apartments don't have an iron but they have an ironing room to the rear of reception which you can use, which once again the receptionist helped us with, in fact all the staff we encountered we're friendly and helpful, a credit to the village. Weak spot was entertainment and the team did say that since the introduction of wi fi in the apartments people had seemed to prefer using this and staying in the apartments. We contacted the village prior to arrival as my niece has a wheat allergy and every day at breakfast she was supplied with gluten free bread. The breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold and there was plenty of choice. We chose to have lunch in the apartment, there are a couple of supermarkets close by and a large one in the harbour where we did our main shop. In the evening we ate out, a couple of recommendations would be the Fiesta in the village plaza and Riminni's a short walk away who did an amazing fillet steak. Day time activities were limited however we chose to do aqua aerobics every day, never done before and it was great fun, challenge you ladies to give it a go, first time ever I've returned from holiday not having gained a pound. We chose to take a taxi back to the airport to beat the rush, cost 26 euros, was organised by the receptionist and well worth it. Also kept our room on as we had a late flight. What can I say? Well done the Avanti Village! Hope to see you again.More
