Avanti Village

This place is only five minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.

The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.

On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.

Fantastic Holiday Destination

This is our 2nd visit to the Avanti Village, Paphos, Cyprus. What a fantastic village, friendly, welcoming and beautiful. The village apartments are spacious, immaculately clean and all staff are so friendly. The village itself is located in beautiful grounds and the pools are fabulous. Great place for couples and families alike. Easy access all around the village too. Located near to restaurants to suit all tastes. A family run business, we found our stay just perfect. Looking forward to our next visit already.More

Lovely pool area

V good breakfast selection. V family friendly hotel. The lovely pool is the main feature, its slightly heated no sharp intake of breath when you first get in. i am 5ft 1 so many pools too deep, but this is ideal, just up to my chest! the rooms are clean and well equipped with large balconies. we had booked half board as no b&b available, that is the only complaint i have.On the first night Saturday went to the avanti hotel, across the carpark, for our evening meal, and the food was so poor we never went back and have eaten out all week. On that Saturday it was bbq night, the food did not resemble this, and two of the meats we tried,we all agreed tasted off, sour, the pork slice and lamb. So we decided that even though we had pre paid it was no worth taking the risk, and have eaten at the many excellent restaurants close by.More

Family resort

approx 240 apartments in blocks of 4 set in lush gardens 2 on ground floor 2 upstairs , large rooms each with large bedroom, open plan lounge kitchen dinner and large balcony,Bathroom is access from main bedroom sofa,s in lounge double up as 2 single beds , Full air conditioned included, clean towels every day, rooms are very clean as is the whole complex. Tried the food at the taverna by the pool not the best I have ever had, did not go back , but its surrounded by some great places to eat, the seafood restaurant is 10 out of 10 for quality and value for money. The Vista bar also does good food and shows the sport, Both these are in the Plaza of the complex, The site is a 5 min taxi ride into Phaphos harbour, would go back again great value for moneyMore

Wonderful safe resort for families!

The Resort was really great. We travelled with our son, daughter-in-law & 2 young grandchildren. The 2 adjoining spacious self catering apartments - each one would sleep 4 people - were kept very clean & tidy. The staff were extremely happy to help with any issue & we had none! You can choose to eat out (plenty of choice) or if you prefer "do your own catering". The pool & amenities were excellent. There is a lovely boardwalk along the seaside from the resort to the harbour which we did every day. A fantastic mix of people - couples on their own or families with grandparents like us tagging along to give parents a little respite! A thoroughly enjoyable holiday which I would recommend to anyone.More

Clean, friendly and well sited

From the moment we arrived late at night til the time we left we were made welcome. We arrived late Saturday night and were greeted with a glass of Juice. The check in was organised and quick. We had asked for a quiet apartment and we were allocated one at the far end of the 'village'. We were given a map of the site and made our own way to the apartment however our luggage was brought to us by 'golf' buggy. this was a bonus after a long day. The apartment was clean and well laid out. The decor was smart and good condition. The beds were comfy and good pillows - not a single lump in them. Fresh towels and bins emptied daily. Towels provided for the pool. Room serviced most days. The air conditioning worked really well, unlike some places we have been to. The site itself was well maintained, very clean and nicely laid out. There was no problem with noise. Breakfast and lunch were provided in the 'village' although we were out and about most days and only had breakfast which had a very good selection from full 'english', continental, or just crepes (they were gorgeous) It was all freshly done. The evening meal was at the sister Hotel a short walk away. Each night was a different theme and the food was excellent. The amount of choice meant there was definitely something for every person's taste. The 'villagers' could also use the amenities at the Hotel. Although we went half board,I would be quite happy self catering with the equipment provided in the kitchenette. The site is close to shops and eating establishments and the beach itself is only about 5 minutes walking distance You can walk to Paphos in 30-40 minutes but why bother when there are buses every 15 minutes and the fares are 1.50 euros each way or you can buy a day ticket for 5 euros. We are hoping to fit in another holiday later in the year and would love to come back to the Avanti village, if it is available.More
