The Avanti Village is geared up nicely for families, ticking off a huge pool, a lazy river, and a close-to-the-beach location.
It only takes five minutes to walk from this hotel to the honey-hued sands of Pachyammos Beach. A further 15 will land you on the water’s edge, in Paphos’ bar and restaurant-lined harbour.
The property has the look of a typical Mediterranean village – think low-rise, terracotta-tiled buildings and a clock tower. The grounds are also peppered with chunky palm trees and leafy shrubs.

Avanti village stay family friendly
We arrived on the 8th of May and stayed there for 7 nights. The hotel is centrally located and the reception area is of a 4 star standard in appearance. The staff were approachable and helpful. we were greeted with a glass of complimentary orange cordial which was nice. The rooms are clean and basic and I would give the room a three star rating. The rooms are cleaned every day apart from Thursday and Monday. The studios are in blocks all in alphabetical order. However the poor sign posting can confuse you for the first three days. There is no sign posting to the pool, eating areas and the quick cut to the Poseidon Ave, this could be improved. The breakfast is varied in terms of a cooked breakfast, but lacks in freshly chopped fruit (this shouldn't deter you). Its great for kids and has a children's pool. Bar snacks/lunches are reasonably priced and you can order the following; Feta cheese salads kebabs pizza all of the above start from 6 euros roughly and can be shared. The animation team are great in motivating people to enjoy their holiday and they provide a kids disco in the evening. drinks are expensive and a small bottle of water by the pool is 1 euro as opposed to 50 euros. If you are self catering I would advise a trip to Lidl on your first day of your holiday, you can get the 611 bus to the harbour and then the 615 bus to coral bay, alternatively get a taxi for roughly 10 euros single trip. The meal in the Avanti hotel is lovely and we took advantage of the 30% off voucher we received on our first day. I would recommend a flexi voucher for families, but also great to venture out as a family. The More
Returned back last night after a week here and I was sad to leave. Lovely hotel that met my room requests of a upper floor over looking the field and it was super. Rooms big and spacious, I'd have liked a extra kitchen unit to prep and store bits but we managed as only had breakfast and some sandwiches there. Pool area was lovely and they were plenty warm enough to swim in. Only problem was the giant Ants but I would think they where everywhere on the island. Pool towel exchange was great as was the maid service. We enjoyed some of the fresh help your self oranges from the trees around the complex. I used the laundry room half way through our stay which is well equip. Only downside would be the evening entertainment the shows were on too late in my opinion for a family hotel which is why I think they were poorly attended. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Great hospitality, excellent family vacation
We stayed in Avanti village in May 2017 with an 8 years old and a 1.4 toddler. I chose the hotel because I found the facilities good for these ages - the pool area, playgrounds, kids club etc. We all enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast was very good with large variety. The location was also good - lots of places to eat around. The hospitality was outstanding - the hotel staff helped us with car renting, taxis, and pretty much everything we needed. Our car was mugged and a bag with the hotel key was stolen. The staff were very helpful, provided us another key and did not charge the key-loss fee even though we had no problem paying it. I highly recommend the Avanti village, especially if you are travelling with kids, and I will definitely be back on my next visit to Cyprus.More

Fun in the sun
This is our 3rd visit here in the space of 4yrs. Still love it as much as the 1st time we visited. Good mix of couples and families young and old. Pool area is well kept with plenty of sunbeds and free towels - just a shame about the tw*t who decided to steal parasols on a daily basis when your back was turned ð . There are daily activities - yoga, water aerobics, volleyball etc - if you have the energy to leave your sunbed. We opted in for board and breakfast. Great selection of food even for fussy eaters. We haven't eaten at the hotel so unable to comment. The pool bar sells a wide selection of drinks, snacks and ice-cream. Apartments are bright and spacious with everything you need. The maids did a great job. Main bed is very large and comfortable. I wouldn't suggest attempting to sleep on the second bed/sofa, its very hard and uncomfortable for anything more than an hours siesta. The bathrooms are large with a bath and power shower over but could do with a small refurb now. Our shower sprayed water everywhere so we had towels all over the floor. The balcony is spacious with a small table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine from. Would be nice if we could have had a sun bed on there too. The complex is a 25 min stroll to the beautiful harbour either along the main road or along the coastal path which has some great restaurants - be prepared to pay for the view though. Plenty of pubs and eateries just outside Avanti as well as on site. We recommend Little Eatery. They also do takeaway too. Looking forward to coming back soon!More
