The Avanti Village is geared up nicely for families, ticking off a huge pool, a lazy river, and a close-to-the-beach location.
It only takes five minutes to walk from this hotel to the honey-hued sands of Pachyammos Beach. A further 15 will land you on the water’s edge, in Paphos’ bar and restaurant-lined harbour.
The property has the look of a typical Mediterranean village – think low-rise, terracotta-tiled buildings and a clock tower. The grounds are also peppered with chunky palm trees and leafy shrubs.

The family apartment was very dated, old fashioned and basic. Feels like 2 star, very disappointed the moment we walked in. Kids love the pools. Food mediocre at best. Breakfast buffet like a rat race, everyone scavenging for a table! Bushes overgrown. One lovely receptionist and another miserable and unhelpful. Good kids club. Evening entertainment was a joke with the same 4-5 staff members doing different things every night.Lovely cleaners. Inadequate pathway lighting at night but very quiet environment so we slept very well.More
Wedding Party (from 12th - 19th September 2017) Party of 15
Location - fantastic, very close (walking distance) to lots of great bars and restaurants. On-site amenities - Pool was superb, never packed, always lots to do. The staff were great, very friendly especially Kiko) Food - Breakfast were part of our package, always a good variety of food, very well cooked. Lunches and snacks equally as good. Cleaning staff were really nice and friendly. Cleaned the rooms more than I thought they would for a week's stay - clean towels every day.More

We stayed at the village from the 3rd -13th September. Lovely big rooms, clean and a nice little terrace. We also had a lovely cleaner who added a nice touch by making us decorations with the towels. The decor was basic but the kitchen area had everything we needed. The bed or beds (2 large singles pushed together) vey comfortable, much better than the bed/sofa in the living area. The pool area was great, nice big pool with swim up bar. The staff also great. Very friendly and helpful. They put on daily water gym, water polo, volleyball etc. We would definitely stay here again. Good value and activities programme
Avanti village is a set of apartments very close by to the Avanti hotel. The apartments are basic but do the job. There are herbs and lemon trees growing on the grounds to aid your cooking! Some of the rooms are tucked away a little so its hard to find them especially in the dark with the winding paths. The rooms could do with a few more touches to enhance them e.g brighter lighting, hooks behind the door in bathroom etc but overall very good. There is a shop for groceries nearby but is expensive so best to bring your own provisions. The best thing about this hotel is how they try and cater for everyone and families. They have a good 'animation' activities programme so you can try doing a yoga class or aquafit each day, or learn archery etc. They have evening entertainment too which is a nice effort. The gym is a decent size and has basic equipment for a workout. The staff are really pleasant and helpful - a big thumbs up to the animation team especially for the daily yoga!More
Great holiday in the sun!
Lovely self catering complex. Fabulous pool area, loads of beds. We were a party of 8 and never had a problem getting beds anytime of the day. The apartments were spacious and exceptionally clear, the cleaners worked so hard. If your after high end evening entertainment this won't be for you but we were definitely not bothered by this. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Although a busy, popular complex it was very quiet at night which we liked. The surrounding area is full of restaurants but it isn't pretty or quaint which disappointed us a little. The walk along the promenade to paphos harbour was nice and took 20-30 mins. The beaches in this area were not good at all so we were pool based every day which again was disappointing. On the whole it was a great complex with guaranteed sunshine and we came home completely relaxed! More
