This place is only five minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.
The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.
On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.

I have gave this an excellent review because it simply is wonderful. I have just came back from a holiday there with my mum and it was perfect for what we went for. To simply CHILL after a stressful 2014! As soon as we got there we felt so welcome and at ease. The pool was quite cool but once in, absolutely lovely. Always enough sunbeds. You are always catered for, as soon as a cup or plate are empty theyre whizzed away within a matter of seconds and you are offered more which is great. The entertainers Jen and AJ became really friendly with us which was nice as we were always invited to do daily activities by the pool including Archery/Bowls/Water Games which were really fun. The only section I will fault would be nightly entertainment as there wasn't a lot however towards the end of our holiday there was more going on so I would recommend going middle of may rather than beginning but suppose that's our fault for not checking! Thanks for an amazing holiday :) Breakfast - We had breakfast in the terrace outdoors every morning and the weather was always hot enough to eat there. There is food for everybody and really really fresh. Selection of cereal, hot food, pancakes, pastries, cheese's, fresh fruit. Also tea/coffee, water, fresh fruit juice. Dinner - There is a menu of an evening which is different every singe day of the week so we never got bored. The quality of the food is just amazing and soo many puddings to chose from or fruit! Location - Just a 5 minute walk from the beach and all the typical holiday shops./ supermarkets. We walked to paphos harbour/town every day which took about 30 minutes. When you are walking along the lovely beach the whole way there, the time it takes really isn't a problem. There is also an option to get the bus which takes 5 mins :) More

We visited in early May 2015 for a family wedding with half the party at the hotel and the other half at the village. We have really enjoyed the stay and the hotel is situated perfectly to the centre and harbour. The rooms at the hotel are 4 star class with the apartments at the village perfect for families. A very tidy and clean place and we couldn't fault anything. Great place for the price More
Lovely place, great for families
We have just returned from a family holiday to the Avanti Village. We visited Paphos for the first time, as my daughter was getting married at 'Alexander the Great' Hotel we wanted to be close to her but as we had younger children decided to stay in a more family based hotel rather than a couples hotel. We were only 10 minutes walk away from the Alexander Hotel and a further 10-15 minutes walk away from the harbour where there were more shops and restaurants. The bus was regular and only 1euro 50. The Avanti was perfect, clean, spacious rooms, excellent maid service, flat screen tv with english channels and as requested a room by the pool so we could keep an eye on our 12 year old. The Pool area was excellent, there was a grass area near by where our son played football with the other lads which kept him happy all day. We went half board, the breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, always cooked fresh, eat as much as you want. We went over to the Avanti Hotel for our evening meal which again was excellent, different choices every night on a 7 night menu. I loved the Avanti and would definately go back.More

A breathtaking Family holiday!
This was our first real 'family holiday' with our 4 year old girl, so we looked high and low when booking a holiday to ensure we made the right decision - I had been to Cyprus before personally and remembered falling in love with the island so we decided to go! After reading some of the reviews we decided this would be the place to stay, and wow did it live up to expectations, it actually exceeded them in every way! From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff was pleasant, courteous and delivered an exceptional level of service! The hotel itself was immaculately presented, and in a good location to visit most places in Cyprus. Paphos Zoo, The cat sanctuary in Tala and Coral Bay are musts! Our little girl enjoyed every moment, and is now trying to get us to move to Cyprus :) A holiday to remember, and we will definitely be returning - Thank you everyone at Avanti Village! Jean-LucMore

Great hotel for families and young children
The Avanti Village Hotel is well laid out and has a spacious feel. The pool area is fantastic with a large number of sun beds both close to and set back from the pool. It is very family/child friendly. An initial error at reception giving us a room with a double rather than twin beds and a few ants on the counter tops was quickly rectified and our eventual apartment was great. Spacious, very clean, lovely view and comfortable beds. Maid service was very good and the provision of daily pool towels worked really well. We were B&B but facilities in the rooms were very good for self catering, with full cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. Breakfast was plentiful with a great choice. However the time you go makes all the difference. A late breakfast means waiting for cups, glasses, cutlery and plates. The place also has a frenetic feel as it becomes overrun with young children and the waiting staff have to placate customers waiting for crockery etc. By contrast if you breakfast before 9 am, there is an air of calmness and plentiful supplies of everything. If you have a problem with birds, I would avoid breakfast as the birds are constantly flying around the tables looking for food (though staff are very quick to clear plates which helps). There are a few restaurants within the Village complex and close by, all of which are good. Bus service is excellent, costing â¬1.50 with stops close to the hotel. They're spotlessly clean, air conditioned and you can get to the harbour in about 10 mins. You can walk in about half an hour and the walk along the beach front is lovely. The Constantinou Hotel opposite serves great cocktails with wonderful sea views and fabulous sunsets.More
