This place is only five minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.
The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.
On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.
Open for dinner at the Avanti Hotel next door. There are children's meals and daily themed nights - Chinese, a carvery, barbecue, Cypriot and international meals. There's a children's menu and highchairs available too. Gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers when dining.
1-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 5, with a double or twin beds in the bedroom, 2 extra beds in the living room, also used as sofas, plus a camp-bed suitable for a child up to 12 years and a cot if required. Kitchenette has a fridge, oven, grill and 2 electric rings, plus the 32 inch LED satellite TV has a cartoon channel.
Avanti Village/ Avanti Hotel â Time Stood Still for a Wonderful Week
We spent a wonderful week at the Avanti Village Apartments in Paphos. The atmosphere was brilliant and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were especially impressed by Georgios Palas, the Director, and Zoe Nicolaidou, the Front Office Manager taking time out of their busy schedules to talk to us and make us feel welcome.
Apartments can accommodate up to 5 people comfortably and there is a great swimming pool where we spent a lot of time. There is a choice of B&B, half board and full board with a system of vouchers to have meals in the hotel on particular days. This was great for us. We stayed B&B and we were out some nights but had meals at the nearby Avanti Hotel other nights. The choice and quality of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was great.
There is a shop, restaurants and bars on site. The location is perfect as the hotel is a short walk from the seafront and the centre of Paphos.
We will definitely be back again â both the apartment village and the hotel are ideal for families, single travellers and couples. We would highly recommend it.More
Just come back from staying eleven nights at Avanti Village staying half board (19/9/15-30/9/15) and what a lovely place it was. There were activities during the day and entertainment in the evening, either at the village or the hotel.
The apartment was clean and tidy and very spacious with own balcony(only downside was the walk to it).The air conditioning was a relief(where the outside temperature reached 30 degrees Centigrade). The maids came in to clean everyday except Monday and Thursday, and did a good job.
Breakfast was served from 07.30-10.00 and there was a good choice of food, with cereal or fresh fruit or you could have the full English, it was up to you, with juice tea or coffee.
The evening meal was served from 19.00-21.30 and that was just as good. Every night was a themed night and there were different food choices on offer, so there were something for everyone. There was even a kids corner, so even they weren't left out!
There weren't many shops nearby, but if you go down to the harbour(8 euros in a taxi, which you can order from reception) there are shops and restaurants there where you can have a look around, relax with a cool drink or have lunch.
But if you are real shopaholic there is a shopping mall called Kings Mill Avenue, where there are different designer shops and a food court, if you need a break.
I would recommend this place to anyone and hope they have a nice relaxing holiday like i did.More
Perfect family accommodtion
We stayed for 7 days in September 2015. We had stayed last year as a couple and enjoyed it. Our daughter came with us this time. The accommodation was very good. Lots of space for 3 adults. The location is great - close to the beaches and a short walk to Paphos centre. The staff are very helpful. We were able to leave our suitcases and enjoy the sun right up to our time of departure. We were even offered the option of a shower. The weather is perfect in September/early October. Would recommend.More
