This place is only five minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.
The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.
On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.

A great holiday
We visited the Avanti Village first time last July with one of our three daughters. It was an excellent holiday. We were concerned that one 19 year old might find it rather dull even if she does love the sunshine but it was easy to do activities when you wanted without feeling pressurised to join in. We enjoyed the aquarobics and my daughter and husband played water volleyball every day and water polo most afternoons. The entertainment team were excellent. We are returning this year with all three daughters and have requested two rooms together. The hotel responded very quickly to our request and we are looking forward to another good holiday.More

Best holiday village that we have stayed in
Stayed at the Avanti Village with my wife and 7 year old daughter during the May half term, the weather was lovely and so was the accommodation. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the rooms were spacious and well kept with a new mattress on the double bed, the separate bedroom was a big plus.We went self catering but changed to bed and breakfast once we arrived we also paid to eat in the hotel for four of the nights, this was only a short walk away and the food was lovely you could use your vouchers on any of the nights during your stay so you could go to a restaurant one night and the hotel the next. The apartment was really well equipped but we did not use the facility as we like to eat out. The pool area was very clean with lots of sunbeds available so you could get up late and still find one , this is a big plus in any hotel, the swim up bar was really nice. We have stayed in numerous hotels in Phapos including a 5 star but did not feel as relaxed as we did at the Avanti. We have booked again for 10 days in May this year and cannot wait to go back.More

Nice location, spacious rooms
The hotel consists of small blocks of appartments, with footpaths between them, and a central area with swimming pool, reception, etc. It is a pleasant lay-out. The location suited us perfectly, nice and quiet, not in the town centre, but near enough to be able to walk into the centre (about 20-30 mins along very nice seafront path, or slightly shorter along the main road. There are also buses going into town). We didn't eat in the hotel restaurants at all, so cannot comment on those, but there are quite a few restaurants (one or two of them very good) on the nearby road, and a superb choice of places to eat in the town centre. The appartment was spacious with a double bedroom, a large sitting room area with a little kitchen, well stocked with crockery, but limited cupboard space for food (unless you move some of the crockery out of the cupboards). There is a nice little shop on the road towards the sea, well stocked with groceries, drinks, toiletries, etc. When we were there (May) it was quite cool and rainy, so we only used the swimming pool on a couple of days, but it was nice on those days. Fortunately there was enough to do looking around the Roman ruins, the churches, etc, that we weren't dependant on just sunbathing or swimming.More

Perfect for families...........we've been nine times !
After several very disappointing holidays we came to The Avanti Village. Fantastic in every way. Very clean, very safe for the children a perfect relaxing holiday and...ALL THE STAFF ARE LOVELY. We're going back again this year for the tenth time because we absolutely know we'll all enjoy ourselves again and have another great time. It is so relaxing during the day around the fabulous lagoon pool, no worries, just peace and enjoyment for all of us. Enough to keep the children amused and a time to chill. The grounds are lovely with lovely walkways. The apartments are kept spotless by the very friendly cleaners. The reception staff are so helpful and friendly when needed and ALL the staff in the pool bar and cafe couldn't be nicer. Exceptional value for money, absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The children don't want to go anywhere else and we're very happy to let them have their way !! Andrew V.More

Fab value for money stay
We stayed here for a week in September as a relatively cheap base for wedding venue hunting. I research hotels a lot before booking and am quite picky, but wasn't disappointed . The rooms are all apartments, with kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom & balcony. they are very spacious and ideal for families whilst being clean and pleasant. they're not luxurious (as I imagine the hotel rooms are a bit more) but are definitely nice enough and have what you need. The grounds are all really nice, with a very big pool so no sun bed fighting. Breakfast was a buffet and nice, and the evening meal was all fresh and should be enough choices for everyone. Also if you have a birthday while you're there(as 2 of our party did) they have all your date of birth from reception and bring a big cake and sing to you, it was very sweet. Evening meal is in the hotel but it's a short walk across a path from reception so no big deal, and felt nice to have that change of scenery. The location is great as there are a few bars and restaurants nearby, not really buzzing but enough to do. Then you can get a bus into central paphos quite cheaply each for a bit more choice in the day/night . The area does seem to be getting full of huge all inclusives which are all new and lovely, but might affect how full local bars and restaurants are - or maybe as it as late season that's why they were quiet. All in all a lovely holiday and plenty to do around Paphos in general if you're happy to get on the bus to the shopping centre, tomb of the kings, coral bay etcMore
