The Avanti Village is geared up nicely for families, ticking off a huge pool, a lazy river, and a close-to-the-beach location.
It only takes five minutes to walk from this hotel to the honey-hued sands of Pachyammos Beach. A further 15 will land you on the water’s edge, in Paphos’ bar and restaurant-lined harbour.
The property has the look of a typical Mediterranean village – think low-rise, terracotta-tiled buildings and a clock tower. The grounds are also peppered with chunky palm trees and leafy shrubs.

What can I say that others haven't already said? We stayed here for a week last August/September surprising my brother and his wife who had already been at Avanti Hotel(next door) for a week before our arrival. This was our third time in the Paphos area over 2 years but a first at these apartments. The apartment we had was about half way down the complex next to a gravel pathway that leads from the complex to some lovely local restaurants (Rib Shack etc) so very quiet indeed. Apartment was spacious and clean. Free Wi-Fi in the room which worked very well. I can't comment on most of the services at the Avanti Village as we spent most of our time round the pool at the Hotel (about 5 minutes walk away) as there were less kids there (nothing against kids, just didn't have any in our party so felt better where there was more adult company. Welcome drink on arrival (just orange squash I think but very welcome after a long trip). We arrived in the evening and found it a bit tricky finding our apartment but we were provided with a map of the grounds which helped immensely. A little bit out of the town centre but we used buses to travel into town when required and even took the bus out to Chlorakas where our favourite beach bar (Sea You) was located and spent a great evening there. Hotel is ideally located if you are not too keen being right in the centre of town and having loads of noise in the evening...never heard any noise after dark. Always plenty of sunbeds on offer at both the Village and at the Hotel no matter what time of day. The Hotel actually had some sunbeds in some great quiet spots away from the pool and on the grass. Swim up pool was a first for me and very enjoyable...drinks added to a tab to pay at a later date (and if you are a returner to either of these places, they automatically give you a 15% discount on drinks bought at the bar and paid for at end of trip) Animation team were fantastic and managed to get my very shy and reserved hubby to participate in the daily archery competition. However, I would say that if you weren't keen to participate, the animation team would not force the issue and would stay for a quick chat even if you made it clear you were not interested in joining in the games. Sunbed towels were also provided in the room (a first for us, usually have to bring or buy our own) and these could be changed daily if required at a point near the indoor pool in both the Hotel and the Village. Only used the on-site shop once but seemed to have a good selection of items for self caterers, however, there are other nearby mini markets within walking distance. Would recommend the Rib Shack for a meal and also, a genuine local restaurant (a few minutes walk away heading into town on the right hand side-the name escapes me just now) which gave us a fantastic three course meal for just under 15euros with a free shot at the end of the meal. I loved this place (we are planning on booking a fortnight there later in the year) and so far, is the best of all places I have stayed in Cyprus (with exception of a stay in a luxury villa on one occasion-haha). Please do not book to go here....I want it still to be available when I plan to go, lol. Joking aside, the Avanti provides way more than other complexes in it's class - free sunbed towels and free Wi-Fi. Staff were all amazing..no complaints at all. JUST BOOK IT NOW!More
Excellent Holiday Village
Myself and my husband stayed at the Avanti Village in October 2016, we were supposed to be with other friends and their family but unfortunately they had to cancel due to a family emergency. Although it ended up being just the two of us, we thoroughly enjoyed it, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the housekeeping was excellent too. The only 1 thing I would comment on was that we had to walk to the Hotel to get our evening meal (nothing major), Apart from that 1 thing, the whole experience was great and I would totally recommend anyone who is thinking of staying at this facilityMore
Fantastic family resort - our second visit.
This was our second visit to Avanti Village and we wanted to come back to the resort for many reasons. Rooms are clean and well looked after, we like that there is plenty of space for a family of four to be in the room and not be on top of each other. The facilities are perfect for a family who may want to have breakfast or lunch in the room and then eat out on a night. Swimming pool - my girls loved it here and they wanted to come back to Avanti Village as they had such good fun last time. It is clean and we found plenty of sunbeds. We did visit off season in October so can't comment for high season. Bar - good although a little pricey. However I ordered the tuna salad from the bar (not the restaurant) and it is the biggest salad ever! Lovely fresh produce. Animation team - a huge improvement from last year - although they had worked well the previous time. The Avanti group have made a great choice in employing a full team to look after both hotels. They worked very hard and made each day such good fun. Think it is the only time we have really got involved in the activities. I liked the fact that the show was held at the Avanti hotel, it made it much more professional and we loved all of the shows they did. Great improvement! Location - great location - close to a good beach - just walk across the road and down the little walk way and then we chose to go right. We found a small area of the beach which was near a jetty that was good. The beaches are not great around this part of Cyprus, you would need to go to Coral Bay to get a big long beach. However this little beach was clean and the water was lovely and warm You can get a bus into Paphos which takes about 10 minutes. We did this most nights to go to the restaurants in the harbour, but there are some very good restaurants either within the complex - Fiesta and the fish restaurant or you can walk just 5 minutes and find lots of restaurants. We would definitely come back to Avanti Village again.More
late summer sun!
fantastic location for people who want a dip in the sea and also in the evening, just a short taxi ride to local entertainment. We went towards the end of September so the plan was not too crowded. The food could of had a more varied choice.More
