This place is only 5 minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.
The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables.
On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.
Open for dinner at the Avanti Hotel next door. There are children's meals and daily themed nights - Chinese, a carvery, barbecue, Cypriot and international meals. There's a children's menu and highchairs available too. Gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers when dining.
1-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 5, with a double or twin beds in the bedroom, 2 extra beds in the living room, also used as sofas, plus a camp-bed suitable for a child up to 12 years and a cot if required. Kitchenette has a fridge, oven, grill and 2 electric rings, plus the satellite TV has a cartoon channel.
We recently returned from the Avanti Village, which I have to say was perfect for our needs. We hadn't had a holiday abroad for some time and really needed a break. As a couple, it can be sometimes hard to find a resort that has a little bit of life, as well as not being over run, but the Avanti Village was perfect. You have your own apartment which is well appointed and cleaned every day. The pool is large, so never got over crowded, which is a real plus. I advise booking the breakfast option, its a great buffet with everything you may want, and the staff are very friendly as well as helpful. If you like your sea food, then at the bottom of the complex is a restaurant called Ocean Basket, where they serve fantastic sea food at very reasonable prices, really worth a visit. Thank you to the staff at the Avanti Village, it was just what we needed.More

Returned from 10 days at the Avanti Village on 11th oct and all in all it was an amazing holiday. Went with my niece who is 18 and we both can't thank them enough for a lovely holiday. Booking in was swift and the lady on reception was ver helpful. Our apartment was spacious and clean and the balcony was equally spacious, lovey to have a morning cuppa or last drink of the night. The apartments were well equipped and the cleaner was very efficient, even left us an elephant made from towels one day. Had no problem with sun loungers or umbrellas even though they were fully booked. Apartments don't have an iron but they have an ironing room to the rear of reception which you can use, which once again the receptionist helped us with, in fact all the staff we encountered we're friendly and helpful, a credit to the village.
Weak spot was entertainment and the team did say that since the introduction of wi fi in the apartments people had seemed to prefer using this and staying in the apartments.
We contacted the village prior to arrival as my niece has a wheat allergy and every day at breakfast she was supplied with gluten free bread. The breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold and there was plenty of choice. We chose to have lunch in the apartment, there are a couple of supermarkets close by and a large one in the harbour where we did our main shop. In the evening we ate out, a couple of recommendations would be the Fiesta in the village plaza and Riminni's a short walk away who did an amazing fillet steak.
Day time activities were limited however we chose to do aqua aerobics every day, never done before and it was great fun, challenge you ladies to give it a go, first time ever I've returned from holiday not having gained a pound.
We chose to take a taxi back to the airport to beat the rush, cost 26 euros, was organised by the receptionist and well worth it. Also kept our room on as we had a late flight.
What can I say? Well done the Avanti Village! Hope to see you again.More
Just back from our second visit to the Avanti Village. Spacious apartments with everything you need in a self-catering apartment. The maid visited every day, with towels and sheets changed regularly. Wifi in the apartment this year was a welcome addition. The village is well laid out and well maintained. Plenty of beds around the pool. As returning guests we had fruit and wine waiting for us in the room. We also got a discount on our bar bill. Shows they care about returning guests. A lovely touch. Hope to return again soon.More
Avanti village relaxing, friendly and welcoming
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Avanti Village. The apartment was spacious, very clean, plenty of room, and a balcony to sit out on and relax. There was a fridge, air conditioning at no extra cost, a safe you could hire for your valuables.
There were numerous places to eat both in the complex and only a short walk away for others. I was surprised at the variety and types of food available.
This was our first visit to Cyprus, and we would definitely stay here again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only disappointment was that the Wifi was not available in your rooms, although I think this is being rectified.. Taxis and buses were always available which made travelling to other parts of the town easy.
We also visited bars and restaurants at the sea front, and historic sites in the old town.
The weather was lovely and sunny as well so all in all a brilliant holiday .
Avanti village is well worth a stay. Happy holidays.More

Great value for money! Paradise for family.
Avanti village is a paradise for families, especially with young children: the apartment is big and clean, the place is green and nice. It feels like a village and not like a hotel, but it has the accommodation of an hotel (cleaning of the room almost every day, gym at the pool, evening show for the children at the lobby...) The pool is big and there are water mattress and balls that you can use freely. Next to the pool there are a nice playground for children and a kids club. We didn't order meals in advance but we discovered that the breakfast next to the pool is not expensive at all and next to the village there is a square with nice restaurants of all kind. If you rent a car it is recommended to go to the public beach that is 5 minutes from the village and to the port. It is possible to get to the port by walk but it takes around half an hour. We and the children had great time at Avanti village and will definitely recommend the place. We think it is good value for money!More
