This place is only 5 minutes' walk from Paphos' beach and 20 from the restaurants at the harbour. There's a great pool, too, which comes with a waterfall and lazy river.
The Avanti Village’s main draw is its pool scene. In the heart of the gardens is an enormous lagoon-style pool with a waterfall and swim-up bar. There’s also a miniature lazy river, which the little ones can float down on inflatables. Add regular pool games and it’s the ideal place to spend the day with the children.
In terms of location, the complex is just five minutes’ walk from Paphos Beach and 20 from the main harbour. Plus, local buses will run you into town and to a nearby waterpark.
As for accommodation, the village-style apartments are clustered around flagstoned paths and pretty gardens. They’re spacious and open onto balconies or terraces.
On the food front, breakfast features everything from cereals and yogurts to fry-ups. Dinner, meanwhile, comes courtesy of the nearby Avanti Hotel. There’s plenty of choice, including children’s selections and lots of ice-creams and desserts.

Great All Rounder
Great place for couples, families or group of friends, (if you want to avoid large numbers of kids you should know not to go during school holidays). The management of this complex are very approachable if you want a balcony ping them an email, and they will endeavour to meet your needs. The place has a massive swimming pool area great for kids and adults, there is also a indoor swimming pool (great if you want to do some serious swimming its cooler and no one seems to use it). We had no problem getting sunbeds in September (free pool towels available for the sunbeds which can be changed everyday), free WiFi around the pool. The apartments are in blocks of four, two up two down, plenty of space, typical holiday furniture but very comfy beds. There is a supermarket on site not the cheapest but handy. Plenty of places on the complex to eat and drink including pool bar, only ate at the Ocean Basket on the complex which I fully recommend (always busy, a great sign). If you stay here you can use all the facilities at the Avanti Hotel ( fully equipped gym and squash court, tennis courts were being refurbished when we were there). It will take you 20 to 25 mins to walk to the harbour, buses run every 10 t0 15 mins the 611, 612 or 631 all rides cost 1.50euro for one stop or 10 stops, (if you want to go to the tomb of the kings you step off the 611 at the harbour bus station onto a 615), a bus day pass is available for 5euro or weekly for 15 euro. Good places to eat 15 to 18euro, for a set three course meal, 'Les Amis' or 'Gabours.'More
Fabulous holiday - highly recommended
The Avanti Holiday village certainly met (and even exceeded) our expectations. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. The facilities were great and just what we were after. We are a family of 4 (with two boys aged 12 and 14). The apartment was clean and well equipped - yes there were a few ants but if you didn't leave food around this wasn't a problem (we just kept most of our open food in the fridge)! Could have done with some washing up liquid and a cloth though -we had to buy some from the local shop. The buffet breakfast was fabulous - even for two fussy boys. We all found plenty of variety and everyone was happy. We had lunch a couple of times in this area too - reasonably priced, very tasty and plenty of it! Pool area had plenty of beds, but with every resort if you want a bed in a particular area then you needed to get up early to "reserve" with your towels. But if you weren't worried where you sat, then there was still spares later on in the morning. It was very, very hot when we were there (over 40 degrees on some days) so shade was well sought after! Sun loungers were comfy too which was an added bonus. WiFi was available at the pool area - but not in the rooms. We used the supermarkets regularly - not over priced as you might expect, but offering good value and a good selection too. We took the bus or taxi into the harbour area most nights to eat. Bus is 1 euro 50 each - and we found if we loitered at the bus stop then taxis would approach and offer a ride to the Harbour. We negotiated 5 euros once, but normally paid around 6 euros for the four of us which worked out the same price as the bus. We hired a car for a couple of days from the shop just opposite the entrance to the village - very reasonable and run by an English lady. We also spent a day at the Aphrodite water park - great fun, a little expensive but we had a full day out and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Overall a great holiday - would definitely recommend the resort. Plenty for the kids to join in with (volleyball, water polo, table tennis, aqua aerobics etc) and a lively atmosphere without being overly noisy. The animation team were great with the kids and it was nice to have something that they could join in with. So, in summary - highly recommended - lovely area of Paphos and easy to get around on the local buses.More

I created a Trip advisor account just to write this review. My sister had visited this resort last year and recommended it to me and after reading a couple of reviews, I decided to spend my week here. It was perfect and great value for money. You cannot fault the service and location and although I have seen some people comment on the fact that they did not receive a room with a view I feel that this is unfair. At no point does the resort/hotel try to sell themselves as a complex with a beach front location and if you wish for this then research your location. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach and loads of bars and restaurants. It is a fifteen to twenty minute walk to the harbour which is lovely with more bars and restaurants. Local attractions all easily accessible. Avanti village itself is absolutely fantastic. The service from the moment you arrive is excellent, you are greeted by the lovely reception staff who are willing to help with any problem you may have during your stay and seem happy to do so. Rooms cleaned continuously throughout the week and bins emptied every day, fresh pool towels and room towels, great breakfast with lots of variety, lovely big pool, great activities and animation team, and lovely spacious rooms with great beds! I would recommend this complex to anybody, whether it be young couples, older couples, families...it really is just perfect! I attended with my partner, both in our twenties, and we loved it. Thanks so much to all of the staff at Avanti, we will definitely be returning!!! More
Avanti Village Apartments Paphos
We have just returned from nine nights at the Avanti Village and could not fault this complex.Excellent pool area.We enjoyed the area around the lazy river, most people in this area were families with young children, we are a couple in our late fifties but it did not bother us.Also, can receive the hotel's free WiFi in this area.Apartments were spacious for two,bed very comfortable, apartment clean and maid came in most days.We did not cook in the apartment but facilities seemed okay if you wished to cook.Had breakfast at the taverna once and there was plenty of choice and decent quality.Great location if you don't want to be in the centre of town.Plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity of the complex.Recommend Gabor's French restaurant, ate there twice, very good, also the Fiesta Bar,good pub type grub and great atmosphere. Also, ate at the Indian which is in the parade shops five minutes walk after turning left out of the Fiesta plaza ,very good. The stroll into town along the beach front was pleasant especially when hot as there was a cool breeze,it took about 20mins and there is a good bar to have a drink and watch the sun go down. Didn't use the entertainment so can't comment on that. All in all would recommend this complex to family and friends.Very good value for money.More

It was a fantastic place. From the receptionist to the cleaning staff to the bar staff they were so pleasant. The aqua aerobics inthe pool was great in the morning and the waterpolo waa really good fun inthe afternoon. The surroundings were brilliant all clean and tidy. The restaurants around the area and inthe village where very good and good value . The beach was a five minute walk from the apartment which was excellent for snorkeling. All in all the Avanti village and hotel made it a perfect holiday. Thank you and see you next year for longer than a weekMore
