Avanti Village

The Avanti Village is geared up nicely for families, ticking off a huge pool, a lazy river, and a close-to-the-beach location.

It only takes five minutes to walk from this hotel to the honey-hued sands of Pachyammos Beach. A further 15 will land you on the water’s edge, in Paphos’ bar and restaurant-lined harbour.

The property has the look of a typical Mediterranean village – think low-rise, terracotta-tiled buildings and a clock tower. The grounds are also peppered with chunky palm trees and leafy shrubs.

Avanti Holiday Village, Paphos, Cyprus

I have visited Avanti Holiday Village twice so far and have loved it both times! I went with friends both times but it is perfect for couples, families and groups of friends. The apartments were spacious, especially for the 4 of us the first time I visited. 2 air-con machines which were perfect and not too overpowering unless you want them to be! Lots of wardrobe space with different compartments which was perfect for us girls! Modern furniture in bathroom, bedroom and living room. Kitchen included fridge, sink, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and 2 hobs which was perfect for B&B when you want to cook your own dinner in the evenings. The balcony was spacious and had a lovely view across the other apartments which weren't too crammed together. Rooms were cleaned daily and beds changed every other day which was lovely. The pool was huge with plenty of sunbeds surrounding it, even a pool bar on the side where you can buy drinks in or out of the pool. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and definitely good value for money! Big servings of food at the village tavern which offer a variety of food both at breakfast and lunch. Breakfast included everything from a full English breakfast to cereal, Yoghurt and fruit which are constantly being topped up when they are running low. There are lots of mini-markets around the village which is helpful if you're self catered or B&B. Plenty of cold drinks available which came in handy throughout the heat! The staff were very friendly and always provided quick and helpful service throughout our stay. Animation teams provide activites throughout the day from aqua gym to water polo and even Zumba! It's a short walk from restaurants about 5 minutes away - Italian, Chinese, grill and sea based food restaurants. The night life was very lively even on a Monday night! Only a 10 minute taxi drive to Bar Street where there are plenty of clubs and bars with a variety of music and cocktails. Even a few karaoke bars too! The only downside to Paphos is that there aren't many sandy beaches, although I prefer to sunbathe by the pool I would've liked to visit more sandy beaches rather than pebble beaches that surround this complex. Over all I completely loved Avanti Holiday Village and will definitely be returning in the future again with friends or family.More

"Great Holiday"

Just returned from a relaxing 2 week holiday at the Avanti Village apartments. This was our first visit here and we had a lovely welcome from Andrea and Vaia on reception. We were very impressed with the whole layout of the site. A beautiful pool, with lots of sunbeds and the lovely landscaping and flowers around and among all the apartments. Our apartment was very spacious with a large balcony, positioned in a quiet location. It was spotlessly clean and was kept that way by Daniela during our stay. The buffet breakfast , taken outside restaurant near the pool, was plentiful and had something for everyone. We were welcomed each morning with a lovely smile and a "kalimera" from Elsa. All the staff were friendly and very hard working. In the evening there are additional bars and restaurants at the end of the site, including an Italian restaurant/takeaway - Little Eataly and a fish restaurant - Ocean Basket (not to be missed!!) The facilities of the sister Avanti Hotel - just a max 5min walk away can also be used, including breakfast in the coffee bar and dinner in the buffet restaurant. Also evening entertainment in both the Hotel and the Village. We very much enjoyed our first stay at Avanti Village and highly recommend it to both couples and families. A big thank you to Georgios, Socrates, Andrea, Vaia, Elsa and ALL the fantastic staff for a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Hope to see you again.More

Fantastic week's stay

I've just returned from a week staying at the Avanti Village on a self catering basis. On arrival the hotel was very clean and tidy, we were greeted at reception with a free soft drink and a delivery service with our cases. We checked in and purchased the safe key (€17.50 for the week). We went to our room which was on the ground floor, about midway between reception and the main road. Nice big pool, always sunbeds available. A reasonable walking distance to the harbour, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. I'd recommend eating at the Rib Shack, which is opposite the Avanti Hotel (next door). If you're thinking of visiting Paphos then definitely consider this hotel. Air con is free in the room and even on the two days with no maid service our towels were still changed and the bins emptied. Wifi is free and very good and the beds were very comfortable. We actually had a double bed too, which is a first, usually it's two singles pushed together!More

Wonderful! Will be back!

We visited the Avanti Village for a week in May. When arrived at reception we were greeted by a cool drink and friendly staff. A member of staff took our bags straight to our apartment whilst we continued to check in. The check in staff were fabulous and gave us lots of information needed. You also get free wifi for 5 devices which worked great in room and around the pool. When we reached our apartment we were over the moon. We had a upstairs apartment, I would recommend the upstairs apartments we felt they were more private but if you have kids you may want downstairs to avoid the steps. It looked like the Avanti Village had been painted and freshened up when we arrived. The apartment was larger than we expected, clean, bright and well presented. We found the whole of the Avanti Village clean and tidy and the staff were great. The pool was lovely, there is a entertainments team but don't worry they don't pester you. There is a mini market on the village premises which you can get some basic stuff but i would recommend going down to the harbour and visiting the supermarket opposite Debenhams (easy to find, go to the bus station and follow the road up and you will see Debenhams) its cheaper and lots more choice. The village is about a 25 min walk to the harbour, which is well worth visiting. You can get a taxi or a bus if you don't want to walk. We ate a the Fiesta and the Italian and the restaurant near the pool, all were really nice but there are a lot of choices in Paphos, don't just stay at the Village. On the whole we would recommend the Avanti Village to anyone. We loved it and i can be really picky, we will be going back to Paphos and the Avanti Village again. Thank you to all the staff who made this a wonderful holiday.More
