This place gets the balance between adult-focused and child-friendly just right.
There’s a yin and yang to this place. There’s a quiet adults pool and a pirate one for children. Then there’s an adults-only bar, and a hotel-run kids’ club from May 2016. And the outdoor cinema that appeals to all.
Location-wise, shops and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away, and the old town is about a 10-minute drive. You can be on the beach in just a couple of minutes.
Free bottle of sparkling wine and cake for birthdays and anniversaries

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a very long time. Fantastic value, great rooms and very attentive friendly staff, who by the way work so hard! Pool and lounging area is always clean. Would go back in a heart beat. Everything you could possibly need is provided. It was my boyfriends birthday while we were there, when we went back to our room they had left a bottle of bubbly and a selection of fruit for him. I thought that was a very personal and lovely touch. We had a lovely 4 days! More
Just arrived back on the 24/04/16. Room 2276
We have never felt the need to do a review on a holiday, however this hotel and staff deserve one.
Stayed in a family suite so had a large balcony although the other rooms were complaining of small balconies which they were, however you will have a very boring time sat there all day. Rooms were large and very clean, lots of wardrobe space. beds comfy and large.
From start to finish we could not fault anything, great for kids and adults alike.
pool area great very large with enough sunbeds to go round.
All you can eat and drink from morning till night, restaurant food was excellent and well presented, lovely fresh salads and enough choices to suit all. Staff really good, yes you may have to queue a bit but this was well worth the wait, maybe 5 minutes thats all, it was managed really well, drinks brought to your table, which was a nice bonus.
Night time entertainment was good, depends what you want, adult only bar made a nice change with lots of nice people there to share your time with, all in holiday mood, if you have children dont worry, a large ballroom with entertainment for them and they have plenty of space to run around.
Surrounding area not up to much but you can get the bus.
al a carte very good, one visit per stay, nice change.
Overall a fantastic holiday. If you have booked this hotel you will be pleasantly surprised so dont worry, if your looking to book I would recommend here without a doubt ,More
Great Food and Hotel
The hotel and the food was fantastic, we really couldn't fault it. It would have been even better if there were a selection of restaurants to choose from. The staff were really friendly and helpful, very clean and great pools for the kids. All round nice hotel, and would go again.
Only one negative, the immediate location outside of the hotel, was a bit grubby & little to do - no beach. That said you could jump on a bus and in 10mins be at a beautiful beach or in Cyprus Old Town.More
Fabulous early season break
This was a last minute booking for just myself and one of my friends... Having considered many options this appeared to be the best in terms of country, resort, tour operator and price and having read the other reviews on here i can certainly agree that this place is worth the 4.5 star rating it currently has.
We had a twin room overlooking the entertainment stage and the adults only swimming pool.
The room was basic, it wasn't huge but adequate. There was a very small sofa bed in the room which could have accommodated a child but unsure if would have been suitable for an adult.
The balcony was small but had just enough room for two chairs and a small table.
The TV did have a couple of English channels and also two good sports channels although neither of these were English.
Bathroom was sufficient. Shower wasn't great.
Plenty of storage space although the wardrobe doors in our room were broken. Fortunately as two blokes travelling we never used the wardrobe!
Downside - tea/coffee facilities and safe were both chargeable extras and there is a day where there is no room cleaning service each week.
Facilities wise the hotel was great.
There was a fully equipped gym, sauna, jacuzzi and I believe a spa offering treatments.
There was an indoor pool which seemed a hit with kids as was very warm. There is a great kids area in the main outdoor pool with a pirate ship, slides, fountains etc but the water was cold.
The main feature is the huge lagoon shaped pool with a very shallow main area but a 2m plus deep swimming circle around a palm tree planted island. There were fountains and waterfalls and it was a lovely place to lay in the sun; however the water was freezing and this is my single biggest criticism of the hotel.
The hotel was by no means full from what I could tell but it was very busy still. There were days where you could not get a sun bed at all and even when you did there were very few still empty by 10am. So there were plenty of people around the pool all the time from opening time to closing time but I don't think there was ever more than about 8-10 people actually in the pool due to its temperature. (Except when they did the water aerobics)
The bar staff were great at both the pool bar, the main zeta bar and the entertainment area bar. The drinks were good, local beers were Keo or Carlsberg which suited us. The cocktails list was also very good for all inclusive and did even include a couple champagne ones.
The quality of food in the main restaurant was arguably the best all inclusive buffet I have experienced anywhere in the world.
The staff clearly have a hard job in there and it seems unfair to be critical but the truth is the girl who seats you is miserable all the time every day. The guys who take the drinks orders are slow to get to you and often by the time you get the drink you had eaten, and the guys who clear the tables were quite slow so you could have several dirty empty plates on your table as you are moving through the dishes or courses.
I loved this place, the price we paid for our week here made it a fantastic value for money hotel and I would have no hesitation in going back HOWEVER: we paid £286 for our week here, the corresponding week in 2017 is £670 and that is a price I would not pay for this hotel.
Overall a brilliant last minute break - I just wish they would heat the pool.More
