This place gets the balance between adult-focused and child-friendly just right.
There’s a yin and yang to this place. There’s a quiet adults pool and a pirate one for children. Then there’s an adults-only bar, and a Thomson Kids’ Club in July and August 2015. And the outdoor cinema that appeals to all.
Location-wise, shops and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away, and the old town is about a 10-minute drive. You can be on the beach in just a couple of minutes.

Recommended highly, but a few improvements to be made
We stayed at the Atlantica Oasis for a week in July, my partner and I, and our 3 year old daughter. We had a brilliant holiday and were really pleased with the hotel, but there were a few bits which we were disappointed with. We arrived late, yet the staff we still in great spirits and insisted we had the cold drinks they had ready for us. My daughter was asleep, so they offered to help us as much as they could; took our cases for us, made our check in quick and easy, and then directed us back downstairs to collect some food to take up to the room. This was much appreciated after a long and late journey. Our room was always clean and tidy, plenty of space for the three of us, and a great size fridge to keep milk and water in for my daughter. The room overlooked the main pool, which was ideal as it meant it was peaceful at night time when we returned to put the little one to bed. The balcony was small, but it wasn't the end of the world! The pool area was amazing! We spent our time at the splash pool with the pirate ship, I chose to get up early each morning (8am) and reserve our sunbeds so we could relax while the little one played and keep her in site. I always saw spare sunbeds, and the staff were happy to help find you some if you came out later so sunbeds really are not an issue here. The pool was clean and really high quality. The aerobics ran in the main pool by the hotel was great fun. All I would say is, the kids pool area is not cleaned regularly enough, and personal preference, it was a shame there was no music on throughout the day to boost the atmosphere. The bar always had a queue but the staff were so polite and friendly, they managed it as quickly as they could, so I never had an issue with queuing. We were, however, really disapointed there were no hot snacks such as chips, hotdogs, burgers, for the kids to have throughout the day. Unlimited ice cream always goes down well though! The mocha cafe was one of my favourite parts of the hotel, fresh coffee frappes and delicious choice of cakes, sandwiches and salads to snack on. The staff were so friendly as well, the best I encountered at the hotel. I do not know how people can complain about the choice of food at this place, there is so much on offer every day and night. Breakfasts were great, all you could want was available. We did not go in for lunch much as it was a struggle to get the little one out of the pool. The evening was always great. My only complaint is that it can take a long time to get a drink, and these should be offered immediately on arrival to improve. The carvery meat was always perfect, and the selection of salads and fresh fish was beautiful. I enjoyed every meal I had at the hotel, we all did, and the little one always found something she wanted to eat. She especially enjoyed being able to reach the kids buffet, and how attentive the staff were to her. We tried the alacarte night and that made a lovely change. It was outdoors, and the staff were really personal and attentive, especially to our little girl which made her night. The food was nice, fresh, and they even went into the restaurant just to get my daughter some grated carrot as she asked for it! The table next to us were making a rather exaggerated deal about the flies- don't book into an outside alacarte if you do no want to bat away a few flies!! Too dramatic!! For us, the let down of the holiday was the lack of kids entertainment in the evenings. Half an hour kids disco, followed by bingo at which point the staff ask the kids to sit down and be quiet, just is not good enough for a family hotel. This hotel has some lovely adults only areas, and a cracking cocktail bar, which I enjoyed when the little one was napping. The adults only bar also has its own entertainment, so more should be on to entertain the kids in the evening. Three of the nights the entertainment was indoors- I don't want to be indoors on my holiday and neither did the kids! This really was a shame as it means we won't return to the hotel, at least until the little one is a bit older. We did, however, find a nice little pub down the road called the Shakespeare which has a small kids play area and we had a couple of lovely evenings in there with some delicious cocktails. We were told the local area did not have a lot to offer, but actually when we took a bus to the marina we saw a lot of restaurants and pubs with large kids playgrounds, that we wish we had been told about as we like to eat out but worry about finding places that are child friendly. The marina and old town is beautiful, we ate some amazing food there and spent a lovely day wondering around. Well worth the trip, but make sure you scream at the bus driver when you need to stop, as on the return journey he drove right past the hotel stop even though we pressed the button :( Overall, I recommend this hotel highly, and only wish they would expand the childrens evening entertainment to make us want to visit again. Great staff, rooms, amazing food and pool area.More

What can I positively add that already hasn't already been said about this hotel? This is one of the best All Inclusives I've been to. It is spotlessly clean, great air conditioned rooms, huge selection of food and drink, very friendly and helpful staff and a great location. After reading some of the reviews about the Atlanctica Oasis, I now wonder if we stayed at the same hotel they did! The choice of food was one of my concerns, but the restaurant serves several meat dishes, fish, pasta, local and salads dishes along with childrens buffet and vegetarian options. We were spoilt for choice many nights. The drink selection is great and varied and the staff are very generous when it comes to the amount of alcohol served in drinks!! All the staff we found were extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you! Location wise, it's 100 yards or so from the main road which once crossed gets you to the beach and although it's not the best of beaches (grey sand) there's some nice parts to it. We went to the Lighthouse family part one day (opposite Mcdonalds) and another time walked left to the blue parasols near the water sports centre. For sight seeing then its a short â¬1.50 bus ride to the old town/marina or â¬2.50 to the water park. The hotel is NOT on a main road as some have stated, but the side roads running along side the hotel can get busy but settles down by 10pm. The daytime entertainment is your typical water sports and aqua aerobics, with the evening entertainment being a mixture of acts brought in or the entertainment team itself. These were diva style, magic show, singing and general caberet. My only gripes were minor, and these were the block we were in had 85 rooms but one small four person lift. Sometimes it took a couple of minutes for the lift to arrive but usually that was down to peoples inability to use a lift properly. Most of the time it was quick. There's also not a great deal of English speaking channels on the TV. As with most hotels, there's a wait to be seated policy in the restaurant. Some people obviously thought this was beneath them and pushed passed people and sat where they wanted. Not the hotels fault but it happened several times. Also, some of the entertainment team ignore people if they don't have small children with them. All very minor, and they certainly didn't spoil my holiday but I'm just pointing out that the Atlantica Oasis isn't 100% perfect, but very close to it. All in all this is a great hotel with some nice touches, which were the ala carte and BBQ menus at the pool of an evening and the daily water melon trolley. Would return here if coming back to Limassol and would recommend to friends and family.More

Nice hotel-not enough sun beds or kids free zones!
Visited this hotel with 2 friends for a week, hotel was clean and tidy, staff all very friendly and food was consistently nice.Had very good meat on carvery daily. The pool itself was clean and nice, however typically had to be down before 8am to get sun beds, there was a sign saying no towels to be out down before 8am but this wasn't actually followed or enforced. There was an adult pool but quite small and the 'adult only' bar often had kids in.understand this is a family resort but as none of us had children we would have appreciated the adult only zone to be just that! On our last night we found a cockroach in our room on the 5th floor, reception sent house keeping up who seemed to panick and scream when trying to find it at 1am-wasn't handled well and when we reported it to Thompson the rep replied with 'bugs are bugs, what do you want me to do about it' which was not helpful as we were just trying to pre warn for the next guests, she also advised as it's so hot more cockroaches are coming in and they can fly-so don't leave doors open! Local area quite run down,we went in to the old town one day but not much to do there so if your happy not to leave hotel and have kids this hotel is perfect! More
Would go back tomorrow!
Me and my boyfriend (both 22) came to the Atlantica Oasis for 11 nights and would both happily say it's one of the best holidays we've had. From start to finish it was amazing! Food - the food was good, a lot of variety from if you want to have a roast, hot dog and chips or just a salad! There is a kids section which we sometimes found ourselves eating from a few times! There's also an a la carte. This I thought wasn't amazing, but was still nice to try. We also tried the bbq which was yummy :-) My boyfriend was worried about the dress code too as I know it states that in the evening men need to wear smart trousers.. This never seemed to happen and every man seemed to be wearing shorts so that wasn't an issue :-) Drinks - all the drinks are great.. Alcoholic or non-alcoholic there is plenty of choice. There's a menu with what tells you is all inclusive and what you have to pay for. You do have to sign for your drinks but that wasn't an issue whatsoever, I thought it actually worked quite well. Pool and sun beds - the pool was great, water games going on throughout the day - eg water polo and Pilates. Yes you have to get down to the pool for about half 7 to get a sun bed but I haven't ever been on a holiday where I haven't had to do that before! You just need to make sure you stay on your sun bed until 8 as any towels left unattended will get taken away. (Although this was very inconsistent)There is also an adult pool, which I heard is very peaceful! But we never spent our time there as we were quite happy in the normal pool. Location - a lot of reviews say that the location isn't great and there's nothing to do.. This is not the case at all. Down the road there is a few bars, restaurants, shops, band a McDonald's. You can get the bus to the old town/marina which we did one night and it was so lovely. I really do recommend doing this. We got the bus which is 1.50 each and had the best meal in one of the restaurants. There was also lots is stalls around too. Rooms - the rooms are great, we had quite a small room but why would we need a big room for just the 2 of us anyway! We were very happy with it. The balconies are very small but we didn't have much of a view anyway so that didn't bother us! For everyone saying there's no English channels obviously didn't see the music channel, the movie channel, the cartoons, and the animal channel! Trips - we went to the waterpark one day and it was so much fun! I'm not a fan of rides or anything like that, but this waterpark was really good! Lots of rides for littleuns and families. We also went to the zoo which wasn't what we were expecting but we still had a good time.. And even got to feed the giraffes which was the highlight! Would definitely recommend doing both of those trips :-) The only fault I have is lunch time and dinner time I found it took quite a while for us to get our order taken for our drinks. There were a few occasions where people who have been sat down for 2 seconds are getting asked what drinks they want and we'd be waiting for 10 minutes. But for that to be the only fault I think is pretty good!! Everyone is so so friendly, not just in the hotel but just in Cyprus generally. I've been to Cyprus multiple times and it is the one place where I feel so safe outside of the hotel. Do not hesitate to come to this hotel.. We had the best time and I'm sure you will too! Want to go back already!!! Hope everyone enjoys their holiday at the Atlantica Oasis :-) More

When we first arrived staff were very friendly and surrounding were very clean. We were offered snacks if we were hungry which was great considering it was a late arrival. Rooms were clean and modern which was great. Maid service was frequent and could not be faulted. There was a great load of choice when it came to food however I feel as if the quality of the food was not that good and also head chefs were standing round on there phones not actually helping anyone. Pool area was clean and also had lots of sun beds for everyone. The entertainment from the TMC was great. It was consisted and was always entertaining! Al a carte restaurant was lovely setting however I didn't care much for the bbq as there was flys on the food but I suppose that can't be helped. I recommend family's coming to this hotel as its a safe and friendly environment. I would say it's not the best for couples however was still a pleasure staying here! More
