Atlantica Oasis

This place gets the balance between adult-focused and child-friendly just right.

There’s a yin and yang to this place. There’s a quiet adults pool and a pirate one for children. Then there’s an adults-only bar, and a Thomson Kids’ Club in July and August. And the outdoor cinema that appeals to all.

Location-wise, shops and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away, and the old town is about a 10-minute drive. You can be on the beach in just a couple of minutes.

Comments toadd to my last review

I have stayed many many times at this hotel and each time have found the cleaning of the rooms to be excellent. Since staying there last October I have read some of the reviews and found them, based on my own experience,s to be totally unbelievable. The rooms are cleaned, thoroughly every day and the bed linen changed every three days. The only times the rooms are not cleaned is on Sundays and when the "Do not disturb" sign is illuminated by the side of the door, Some people also mentioned having the same tasteless food every night - this is not possible as the menu is run on a fortnightly basis. Of course there are bound to be some repetitive items, i.e. vegetables and part of the salad bar. I know from bitter experience that every time I have stayed at this hotel I have put weight on. One father said that he had to take his son to McDonalds three times a day as there was nothing his son liked at each meal. It makes me wonder what he ate at home. I could go on but I felt I had to say something about the comments that were made towards the end of the 2014 season and for myself I cannot wait to be get out there at the beginning of June to celebrate 20 years since I first stayed at the Atlantica and have found that every year since then the standard just gets higher and higher.More

Beautiful hotel

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for relaxing break. It was really nice. On arrival we got food and drink, and also checked in with ease. The pools are awesome, especially the large pool that you could spend the day swimming round. The hotel has a policy of no sunbeds won taken before 8am, this doesn't work, although we got a sun lounger no problem (might be a problem during busier periods) the food at the buffet restaurant was nice with a lot of variety, simply for a good relaxing holiday the hotel has everything you need. The only issue we had was with the bar at the hotel, overpriced and actually as far to say disgusting cocktails, but I suppose they are used to serving all inclusive drinks. There are local shops 2 minutes from the hotel. Also If you walk left at the bottom of the road there is a Mcdonalds, walk right there is a KFC. There are some beautiful bars within a minutes walk from the hotel and some really nice restaurants aswel. My advice would be the try the Haagen Dazs shop as the ice creams are amazing!! The beach across the road is really nice, it has black sand but who cares what the colour is, I am not one to worry about little things like this. The beach is also protected from the waves by the rocks that have been places in the water (quite a bit out) so it is like being in a massive salt swimming pool.At the beach the boat house restaurant is nice with cocktails and fresh beer. For me the shopping could be better, some really nice shops but I was expecting more as all the signs you see look class. The marina is a must, it has recently been upgraded and the views are quite amazing. This is my 4th time in Cyprus and my Fav hotel so far. More

Fantastic holiday!!!

We stayed at the atlantica for two weeks July 2014. Brillant holiday! Both the hotel run + Thomson kids clubs were great for both are 5 + 12 yr olds always loads for them to do. The hotel was always clean + food was great. Both my husband, myself + children were always happy with it. We only went half board but would have been much easier to have been all in! I cant say anything bad about the hotel, pool, food, staff etc were fantastic! Only down side there were a few un-friendly customers (Russian) some people actually had a problem with them trying to steal stuff from around the bar area at night, again the staff were very helpful. I would just be carefull of them, as they were'nt the only russians that kept "eyeing" up your stuff! But i'm sure you get that everywhere. Will defo vist again maybe 2016 x xMore

Im a bit late to the party as my family and i visited here a good while ago, but we enjoyed it so much. the hotel was absolutley amazing, the food was great, rooms were spotless, staff were happy and helpful and were of brilliant service. the kids pool is brilliant for young'ns and the gym was excellent too. great location, we could just walk for ages and not even realise how far we were as there were lots of shops and beaches to see.
