Atlantica Miramare Beach

The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.

This hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the sand in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the shoreline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.

Inside, the hotel is really stylish. We’re talking coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.

A holiday I will always remember

We stayed last year for ten nights in August. We booked half board and found this adequate for the both of us. We had a very warm welcome and were invited to the Thompson BBQ which we enjoyed very much. The staff were fabulous especially Maria who always had a smile on her face ! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We booked a room with a sea view which was well worth the extra money. The food was amazing and we loved eating in the Red Room. My husband said it was the best holiday we had ever had !! Unfortunately my husband passed away very suddenly a couple of days after we got back. But I'm glad we had this fantastic time together. I have booked to come back with my children and son's girlfriend next August so I can share the Miramare with them. Thank you for a wonderful holiday xMore

Upgraded so cant complain

Booked with Thomson to stay at the Atlantica Oasis few weeks before travel was informed that we were being moved to the Atlantica Miramare as the Atlantica Oasis was closing for the winter. Was disappointed at first because the rooms did not look as nice but was pleased when received the booking as had been upgraded from half board to all inclusive. Room We were allocated a deluxe room with side sea view. The room was large with a large comfortable bed and seating area. We were very pleased with the room and an internet check showed it would have cost a couple of hundred pounds extra. However if I had paid full price for the room I would have been disappointed with the bathroom. Whilst clean and functional lacked the wow factor of the rest of the room. Every evening the cleaning staff would knock on the door to ask if the room was ok. This was not necessary and I ended up putting the do not disturb sign on the door as they did not wait after knocking and it would clash with the time I would be getting ready to go out. Food As a vegetarian the food was sometimes labeled veggie but not always. Meat options were laid out next door to veggie options and I prefer the food to be separate. The choice was limited. We only ate in the hotel a couple of times as prefer to eat out when on holiday anyway. The dining room was a bit like a canteen. However the weather was warm enough to eat out side and it was lovely to have breakfast outside in the mornings. Other facilities The bar area was very pleasant indeed. A good choice of cocktails where we made the most of the all inclusive upgrade. There were plenty of places to relax looking out to sea. The outdoor pools were not heated so too cold for the time of year. The indoor pool was heated and never very busy. Outside the Hotel The bus stop nearest the hotel on the opposite side of the road goes to Larnaka and Nicosia. You can also catch the number 30 bus which goes into the old town. One day we walked into the old town along the beach from the hotel. Another day we caught the bus to the tourist area and walked back along the beach and board walks. The main strip through Limassol is pretty run down. A lot of places are closed for the winter. Finally For a winter break we had a great holiday and enjoyed the luxury of the hotel. Its sea front location puts it ahead of the Atlantica Oasis in my opinion. I enjoyed going to sleep to the sound of the sea. Special mention must go to the staff who were all helpful and attentive especially bar staff. The move of hotel definitely worked to our advantageMore

Fantastic location, wonderful beach bar

This hotel certainly has a wow factor. I only seen the public rooms as I was staying in nearby apartments. However we used the beach bar and cocktail lounge so were there of a day and evening. The beach bar is a wonderful setting for a day time drink and the prices for such a prestige setting were reasonable. Two of our party ordered bar snacks and they were very well presented and tasty. When we returned one evening in a large group we tried a number of the cocktails on their menu and all were delicious. There was live music that night which created a very nice atmosphere in really lovely surroundingsMore

fantastic hotel, friendly staff, excellent food 5star

Just got back from a two week holiday at the Atlantic Miramare Beach Hotel and had the best 2week holiday ever. Booked the holiday with Thomson, s and got upgraded last minute to all inclusive due to the existing hotel being closed for winter (good start). This has got to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with a nice cold towel and a glass of champagne by the hotel manager whilst the rooms we're allocated, we had a lovely deluxe with Seaview and it was excellent, sun all day if you wanted it (325). All of the staff we're fantastic from the porter to the top management and made you feel at home from the moment we arrived to the day that we left. All the facilities at this hotel live upto our expectations and more, lovely swimming pools to adult only areas where you can relax and unwind. Food is exceptional and dining staff always on hand to fill your glasses with wine and water, Ramona the kitchen chef always there with a smile and recommendations. Red room dining is a must with a delightful menu to die for, take a tip dont eat it all or you will fit to burst. Food choice is exceptional and you will never fail to find some quality delights. Make sure you check out the Koi bar Alin the bar tender is fantastic and will make drinks for you all night every night and is a true gentle man. Overall you would struggle to find anything wrong with this hotel and the management should be very proud of the professional manner in which their staff deliver top quality performance. We will definitely return to this hotel.More

We booked this hotel for a last minute relaxing sunshine break and that's exactly what we got. On arrival we were greeted by the manager and handed a glass of bubbly and told to relax whilst our rooms were allocated. Our room was on the fourth floor with a inland view which was not fantastic but we had no complaint. The room was very large and modern with a queen size double bed, a large sofa and a very comfy arm chair. My only small concern was that the matress was quite hard but that's just our preference and not the fault of the hotel. We did though miss the ability to make a hot drink before bed as we were on a half board basis, we spoke to all inclusive guests who said they had tea and coffee making facilities. The Hotel itself is very nicely decorated and very very clean. There are three bars to choose from to enjoy a drink with comfortable seating areas in each. We chose November as we knew the hotel would be quieter and it was just that, plenty of sunbeds around the three pools and on the beach front, no screaming children rushing around and not having to que up to get a drink at the bars, The staff were all very attentive, friendly and very helpful and I could not praise them enough. The food was nice but the standard fayre you get in a all inclusive hotel we did miss the chance to try Cypriot specialities apart from on one night when they had a Cypriot night. However we did have a evening in the red room restaurant which was fantastic and enjoyed by everyone who attended. The entertainment we saw was good especially Paul the magician who was fantastic and you must see. Overall a very enjoyable peaceful break at a very nice hotel in a lovely location on the beach. If you want lively and chaotic then this hotel in November will not be for you. A big thank you to all at the Atlantica Miramare for our stay.More
