The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.
This hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the sand in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the shoreline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.
Inside, the hotel is really stylish. We’re talking coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.
Start your day with a buffet breakfast at Thalassa, and if you are going on an excursion, you can request to have an early breakfast. Lunch is an extensive buffet of snacks, salads, home-made burgers, pizzas and sandwiches, with a special menu for children. Come evening, there's another delicious buffet spread, with themed nights and an extensive wine menu for you to choose from. To top off the dishes on offer, you'll be able to enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea from the terrace. Gentlemen must wear long trousers in the restaurant for evening meals.
Superior twin room with sea view sleeps up to 3 with twin beds and more space, air-conditioning May to October and heating November to April and towel change every 2 days. Minibar is at an extra charge.

Sitting on flight home so thought we would take this chance whilst having our final prosecco to write a review.
In short we (my friend and I - both early 30s - well she has just said technically she is mid 30s but I am definitely early, on the nose in fact - anyway I digress..) would definitely recommend going to this hotel.
On the coach (package with Thompson) we stopped off at some of the other hotels we had looked at prior to booking this one and we were glad we hadn't elected those (in fairness we are basing this on looks from the outside and perceived location) - one in particular was the Atlantica bay hotel.
When we arrived at the Miramare we didn't even have to take our suitcases into the hotel - there was a porter who came out and did this for everyone. We were then greeted by a number of the hotel management and with a glass of champagne (fizzy wine!) - it was excellent, the best welcome we've had on these types of holidays. When we got to our room our bags were there waiting for us and there was a bowl of fresh fruit, a large bottle of water and a bottle of red wine - all complimentary. We arrived in the afternoon and some people we met there had arrived in the early hours of the morning and additionally in their room they had a selection of cold meats etc.
The hotel itself is incredibly clean and tidy and looks in very good condition. We had a standard twin room and this was a decent size. We didn't have a sea view so were overlooking the car park but this didn't really matter as we were hardly in the room. All the sea view rooms are over the bar area so I guess there is potential that if you are early to bed then it might be a tad noisy with a sea view room but that wouldn't be the case beyond midnight. All the plugs in the rooms were UK sockets.
The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and there are plenty of them. They are very relaxed about meals, so whilst we were half board we were able to choose each day if we wanted lunch or dinner and didn't have to give any prior warning - just turn up for the meal we wanted. The food is a good variety and of a decent quality.
The pool areas are excellent - both pools are a decent size and the adults only pool is enforced by staff so on the odd occasion a child ventured across (the adults around the pool pick up on this quickly with their glares!) they are asked to go to the other pool. There weren't many kids there to be honest (thankfully!) And the ones that were tended to be quite young and very cute! There is an additional small pool for really little ones and a small play area. There is also an indoor pool which looked very nice but we didn't have a need for this with the beautiful weather we had.
There is some entertainment during the day such as boules, table tennis and quizzes - the latter was good as Maria the entertainment girl would come around with a question sheet and then come back 20 mins or so later with the answers (these weren't read out loud or anything , just given to you on a sheet of paper so it didn't disrupt those around you).
The hotel is situated right on the Beach - the hotel essentially have a private section of it and have their own sunbeds there so you don't have to pay for them (more to spend on cocktails, yay!) There is also a jetty going out to the sea so you can go down the steps (or dive) and have a gorgeous swim - the water is actually relatively clear.
We never had a problem getting a sunbed and we certainly weren't there at the crack of dawn putting our towels down - our usual time for resuming our position on a sunbed (the main feature of our holiday!) was about 10.30.
We didn't use the gym but it's relatively well equipped but we would highly recommend the spa - we had two massages each and they were amazing.
Evening entertain is on for about an hour and a half and they have things like Latin dancing, a magician (who was incredible) and live singing. There are two different bar areas with the koi bar being adults only - this is very nice and had nice sofas for a relaxed evening. The cocktails were excellent and a good variety.
The hotel is used as a base for the Geman Navy so don't be alarmed if you see people in uniform - but they are all very nice and provide some decent eye candy ;-)
There is free WiFi access through the hotel - including by the pools and on the beach - it was also a decent quality so no issues with it dropping in and out in our experience.
Other things that might be relevant, they charge for use of the safe (which is a bit annoying - 3 euros per day), free pool towels, local supermarket within a few minutes walk - they say you can't have your own drinks and and snacks by the pool but we would get diet coke, crisps etc from the local shop and have it and no one seemed to say anything. We didn't really venture out too much in the evening as we made quite a lot of friends within the hotel so tended to stay in the hotel bars with them. We did go to the new Marina one evening however and we would recommend that - very nice champagne cocktails at the yacht club overlooking some very nice boats! We also had a lovely meal (can't remember the name of the restaurant but it was opposite the yacht club). You can get the local busses easily enough but we personally opted for taxi - about 8 euros to the marina. At the hotel bars there is happy hour between 6 and 7 where is it 2 for 1. As mentioned we were half board and having worked out it out earlier today once had had paid our bill for all that we put on our room, we think it worked out cheaper than being all inclusive.
The pool bars do "snacks" - but they are less snacks and more proper meals of a very good quality.
If anyone is still reading this then brownie points to you (or if you're a radio one fan perhaps we can get you some Scott mills points!)
For your sake, and my thumbs I shall stop writing now but overall highly recommend. I would definitely go back bar from liking going to new places each time, but with this hotel would certainly consider it. Very nice interiors to the hotel, very clean, excellent hotel staff, excellent pool areas and right on the beach, literally. We went for just a week sadly but wish we had done 10 days. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday with a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting with a good mix of chill out and entertainment then this place is for you. Have a fabulous time! YES, we would return here
Having just returned from a weeks holiday at the miramare beach, we can honestly say it is probably the only one of the many hotels we have stayed in over the last few years that we would return to. As others have mentioned from the off guests are treated as family with an individual greeting from the manager along with the champagne and cool towels.
The rooms are spacious with good facilities and spotless as is the rest of the hotel, pool areas and gardens. The restaurants and bars are well laid out either around the pool area or leading out towards the beach, there is plenty of choice of food at the buffet with themed evenings several times a week. There are different forms of entertainment each evening but plenty of local bars if a change of scenery needed. The hotel sits right on the beach which although not very big has plenty of sun loungers ( there is a lovely beach with a nice beach and the water shallow for at least a hundred metres a short bus ride away at St. Raphael ). The staff are what make the hotel really special, they all make an effort to help and be friendly especially Maria who doubles as restaurant front of house and activities organiser. We would definitely recommend.More

An amazing hotel with excellent staff!
This was our first trip to Cyprus with our 11 month old daughter. This hotel and all it's staff did not disappoint. There is not one bad thing I can say regarding all at the Miramare! Exceptional! Not sure why this hotel is not 5 star. I would like to know what else they need to do to get that extra star? We will definitely return to Cyprus and choose the Miramare again. Well done to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable and kept a smile on our daughters face throughout our stay.More

Having read many of the excellent reviews about this hotel, my wife and I expected something exceptional, unfortunately we were disappointed. We thought the food selection and quality was poor, certainly not a candidate for a Michelin star as one reviewer suggested. We have stayed in other Thomson hotels in various countries with lower star ratings, where the food was far better. The hotel setting is lovely with excellent sea views and one of the best complexes we have stayed in, however the location is poor. It is located at the end of a side street off the main road which is very busy and has few facilities. The main attractions of Limassol are at either end of this road, requiring a bus ride, taxi or long walk to reach. We thought the evening entertainment was very poor, certainly not upto the standard we have experienced in other Thomson hotels. The entertainment area was very small with limited seating and the music played by the DJ was awful. He certainly didn't understand the concept of 'playing to your audience'. The majority of guests were in the 50+ age range and he almost continually played what I describe as 'tub thumping music' with a bit of rap thrown in. On the plus side, the hotel is well furnished, the staff friendly and helpful. It is very clean, staff are cleaning and tidying the public areas all the time. There are more than enough sun loungers and brollies for all the guests and 3 pools that accommodate children, families and adults only. The welcome was what you would expect from this standard of hotel. We were greeted at the door, given cold wet towels to wipe our faces and a drink and given a quick introduction to the hotel facilities while our luggage was taken off the coach and transported to our room. There were other nice little touches that you do not normally get in hotels abroad, that added to the experience but having said that, I'm sorry that we will not be going back to the Miramare.More
The Best Treatment Ever
What a fabulous hotel! They can't be far off a 5* rating. from the initial greeting at 11 o'clock with a refreshing moist towel & a glass of champers by Andreas, the cold buffet left in our room(should I be eating cheese that late!). The fabulous food, the professional staff(especially the lovely Maria, who didn't stop all day).Tassos, who gave me ice most days for my bad knee, Christina, who invited us in to the fabulous Red Room, & where we ate every evening. The whole place was spotless, the invite to the barbecue was a nice surprise, & was excellent, not just because it was complimentary, but to meet the General Manager as well, & thank him personally for the fabulous treatment. I wish all hotels were as well run as this one(apart from one dodgy lift that stopped a few times). This will be the first hotel that I will visit more than once, & probably several times. Many thanks!More
