Atlantica Miramare Beach

The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.

This hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the sand in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the shoreline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.

Inside, the hotel is really stylish. We’re talking coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.

Very nice hotel

Visited 30 July-13 Aug. You won't be disappointed with this hotel. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed on H/B basis. Very well run adult pool. Had the odd youngster in the adult pool but it was dealt with quite quickly and mainly caused due to activities going on in the childrens pool. Nice indoor pool too. Didn't use the pool bar so cannot comment. We choose to sunbathe at the end of the adult pool where the tall trees are. Generally quite a few empty loungers available up to 9am. You get a reasonable breeze blowing in that particular area and quite a few leaves falling from the trees. You also end up in the shade from approx 12-3pm in that particular area. That suited us personally but others were moving to the other end of the pool which had sun all day but became more congested. We had room 415 with sea view. Very nice room. Good shower. Had a few probs with the TV and it was sorted immediately. Red wine left on table which we asked at the Asteria bar to change to White and no problems with that. Room landings were well ventilated and not stuffy as are some other hotels. Food was very good although plates were cold at first but this was rectified. Breakfast was standard fare of good quality. Pretty standard evening entertainment. Local dancing etc. Very good DJ. Comic magician was quite funny even though some of the Russians didn't seem to know what was going on. Not much to do outside during the day in Limassol. Mainly because of all the hotels are A/Inc. We had lunch at the Beachcomer which was fine. Also at The Miniatures. They do a nice quiche which was very nicely presented. Both of these places fairly empty by day. 2 hour walk into the new marina passed so time. A very nice Marina opened only 2 months. Caught the bus back. The other way we walked to the Blueberry cafe along the coast/main road/coast for abourt 2half hours and caught the bus back. Did the day trip to Northern Cyprus with Thomson. 0930 pick up return 6pm. Worth a visit but be prepared for a reasonable time on/off the coach. Bit expensive in my opinion. Overall we had a memorable holiday.More

Nice hotel!

Had a weeks stay with family. On arrival we were greeted by the manager who wished us a good holiday and gave us a drink, which was a nice touch. The hotel is very clean, and we had everything we needed. The pool areas are lovely, only issue we had were the uncomfortable sun beds!! Food was great, large variety at breakfast and lunchtime. We did not try the evening meal as men had to wear long trousers in the restaurant and we hadn't packed any! This wasn't an issue as there are many nice eating places close to the hotel. Had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay!More

Just returned from a one week holiday

My partner and I have just spent a week at the Atlantica Miramare. On first arrival, we were greeted with a glass of champagne and cool towel. Nice touch and welcome. We had only booked his holiday three weeks previous to departure date but were still allocated a beautiful sea view room. Cleanliness was out of this world, fresh towels everyday, floor mopped everyday and this was true for all other communal areas of the hotel. Have never stayed in such a clean hotel. Hotel fully air conditioned and as temperatures peaked over 40C some days, having a censored and well functioning air conditioning in the room ensured a good nights sleep. Food was good with an extensive choice, themed nights every evening and wine standards also good. Most of the staff in the restaurant were excellent, we loved Diana, Sara, Costas and Momo. Very friendly and attentive. However I would say that some other staff members need to follow their example. Bar area at times was a similar story and we found that those working directly behind bar were least friendly out of the team. The waiting staff in the main bar were very pleasant, especially Irene, Johanna and Aneta. Just get those behind the bar smiling a bit more and it will finish it off perfectly. Entertainment was great, the fire act show and international dancing performances a departure from the usual clique evenings you sometimes get. The only thing that let them down was an unenthusiastic audience but they did everything they could to entertain and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Pool area was gorgeous loungers plentiful and the beach promenade area great. We did an excursion trip to Nicosia through our rep and it was worth every penny. Our tour guide was exceptional and really made it an interesting historical trip. Housekeeping knocked our door every evening to ensure room standards were acceptable, a packed lunch was given on departure to airport and porters took our luggage to room and to transfer on both arrival and departure. Well done Atlantica Miramare, you should be proud of the staff members we have given credit to!More

above and beyond.

The Miramare is a lovely hotel well situated in limassol. The people who run this hotel are absolutely brilliant to there guests. Nothing is to much trouble for them from management to cleaners. Loved the greeting when we arrived 11.30 at night with a cold flannel to cool our face a welcome glass of champagne then get to our room to find d bottle of wine, water, breads, platter of meat, cheese and salad.Good start to our holiday.breakfast and lunch very enjoyable with a wide variety of foods. At dinner in was always lovely to be greeted by 2 or 3 girls smartly dressed in uniform with a Big smile on there face saying would you like to sit inside or outside or the redroom which we did most nights ( feel very special in the Red Room ).Would be unfair to mention names of staff who made our holiday special because they all do there bit so a Very Big Thank You To All.Look forward to returning in the near future.More

Amazing service , excellent hotel

Stayed at this hotel for 10 days with my husband and daughter. After a delayed flight and arriving at 2 a.m in the morning it was a relief to have a quick and efficient check in - no lengthy form filling and we were quickly up to our room. Having read reviews on this hotel we had a fair idea of what to expect with room standards , complimentary wine /food platter on arrival etc and it was just as other reviewers have stated , so no disappointments there. We had booked a seaview room and were delighted with our allocation as it was high up and towards the quieter end. The room was big enough for 3 people and although it lacked some small touches e.g. tea/coffee , fluffly towels, some more plug sockets, use of the fridge, it was comfortable enough and met the most important needs such as a good night's sleep. The staff at this hotel are simply outstanding . Nothing is too much trouble for them and they were all happy and friendly despite working some long hours. Food can be an issue for us as our daughter has egg and nut allergies. The hotel were informed of this and we have never known a hotel to take this so seriously ; we even had to sign paperwork they had prepared to state they would ensure no harmful ingredients would be used in her food. The staff are obviously well trained to respond to situations like this and she had meals personally prepared for her by the head and executive chefs. The restaurant staff were also brilliant, especially Marios ( restaurant manager ), Christopher, Christina and Andreas who all looked after us so well. We also want to mention Maria as she was always around and about ensuring everyone was happy and well looked after ; she does an excellent job . The bar staff are also very friendly and happy to help; we had some good service and fun especially from Peter. We were invited to the private barbeque dinner which was very nice and a pleasant change from dining in the main restaurant. We were also lucky enough to dine in the Red Room which is a smaller, quieter area off the main restaurant and has more personal service. There is also the option of dining a la carte here. The food standards are very high. There is good variety at all mealtimes and enough to suit a range of tastes. We all came back from holiday a few pounds heavier ; food portions are very generous in Cyprus. We enjoyed two evenings in particular, Paul Thomas the magician was brilliant and the acrobats /fire artists were also excellent. The entertainment area is a little small and fills up quickly so finding somewhere to sit can be tricky. On the evening the acrobats/ fire artists were performing the show was moved nearer to the pool due to needing a larger space ( safety ) and we were able to watch the show from the balcony of our room . Much better as we got to see everything. Entertainment on other nights consists of dancing and music. There are enough bars for everyone's taste. The Koi bar is good if you like sport and is fitted with large TV screens and comfy sofas. Both pools are well looked after and there are plenty of sun loungers although if you want a prime spot then you have to play the game of getting up early. We stayed in another hotel in Cyprus last year which has a sun bed allocation system and this does work very well ; however the attendants at the Miramare are very helpful and will move sunbeds and umbrellas if you need them. Don't try putting a sunbed on the grass however, this is not allowed . Security is present as is a lifeguard in the children's pool area. There aren't many toilets so if you use the adult pool you have to go into the main building. This is regularly cleaned and spotless . There are showers at the pool side , especially useful if you've been on the beach. We stayed at this hotel because we have friends who live near Limassol and it would be easy for us to meet up with them. The hotel were good enough to extend their hospitality to them when they came to visit us one day . This was very important to us and is one of the factors that determines whether we go back to a hotel again. Limassol is commercial , but the hotel location is in a quiet area and convenient for different tourist spots and there are taxis outside the hotel which make getting around quite easy. If you have children Fasouri waterpark is a must and a brilliant day but ensure that your costumes are the non accident variety . We would be happy to use this hotel again as we had a relaxing holiday which met all our expectations and we were so well looked after. The staff were the outstanding feature for us and without them this would just be an ordinary hotel.More
