Atlantica Miramare Beach

The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.

This hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the sand in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the shoreline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.

Inside, the hotel is really stylish. We’re talking coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.

Just returned from a week at the Atlantica Miramare Beach, and it far exceeded our expectations. On arrival the duty manager came to the door to greet us, shook our hands, offered us a warm facecloth to freshen up, sat us down and got us a glass of champagne whilst the staff took care of the checking in process. This was a lovely way to greet guests, and made us feel very special. It was my husband's 40th birthday on the day of arrival, and when we got to our suite (which was beautiful) there was a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake waiting for us. Before we arrived I had emailed the hotel to ask if they could book a table in the a la carte restaurant for us for out first evening. When we entered the restaurant they had decorated the table with balloons, streamers, happy birthday napkins and really made a fuss of my husband. We had complimentary champagne, and an amazing meal too. Then after the main course, the staff came out singing Happy Birthday, with another cake!! When we asked for the bill at the end of the evening, we were told that the meal was compliments of the management. Wow, we really didn't see that one coming, and were so appreciative of the gesture. The staff were absolutely amazing, and a special thanks to Christina, who was just the most lovely lady, and really took care of us for the whole week. In addition, all front of house staff, bar staff and restaurant staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. You genuinely felt that they wanted to ensure that you had a great holiday experience, but it wasn't in a sickly sweet, fake way, they were just all genuinely lovely people, and a real credit to the hotel. We were invited to a BBQ hosted by the Hotel Manager on our second night which was set in the gardens of the hotel, and was absolutely lovely. The manager introduced us to the staff, and took the time to chat to everyone about their holidays, which was a lovely touch. The food was great, drinks on tap, and the pool areas were clean and tidy, the cleanliness throughout the hotel and our suite was amazing (considering the amount of people they were catering for). Special mention to staff members, Cristina (restaurant), Maria (front of house), Peter (really polite lovely barman), Alin (barman in Koi Bar) and Johanna. These staff members were just always friendly and smiling whenever you saw them, just lovely, lovely people. I would return to the hotel in a heartbeat, it really was the best holiday experience I have ever had. If you haven't already thought about booking this place, do it now!!! We hope to return next year with the children, as they seemed to cater very well for families too. Thanks again to all at Atlantica Miramare, we hope to see you again soon!More

Another great holiday at this fantastic hotel

We are now on the last day of our holiday and we have had another great experience at the Miramare beach hotel. The staff have been first class as always. The barmen have been great fun, especially Panicos and the waiters and waitreses have looked after us well. The food has been very good and the cleanliness of all areas of the hotel has been beyond belief. Stelios the lifeguard has looked after our needs around the poolside and always willing to help. Although the hotel has lost a fantastic servant in the lovely Andrea since last year, the animation team have done a great job. Sara and Maria have been especially outstanding in their work. We enjoyed ourselves so much last year that our family joined us this year at the hotel. They too had a great time. Unfortunately our daughter was taken ill with a very bad ear infection. The reception staff could not have been more helpful in steering us to the nearest medical care and they continued to check on her progress with us even after she came back from the hospital. You gett he distinct feeling that all of the satff truly care about you and your holiday experience. This is particulalrly true of the General Manager, who is genuinely interested in your opinion of the hotel and its staff. He took time to sit and discuss our holiday with us and it went a long way to adding a positive spin on our time here. The entertainment was good but there were some changes from last year, which may appeal to some but was not to our taste. Paul Thomas the magician was once again outstanding, great comedy and tricks and worth seeing both times with a different show each time, i even featured on stage myself and got one of his worl famous balloons at the end of my appearance. Some of the live music was a little disappointing, particulalry the lady on the Suday night with her keyboard, after all of the positivity from the hotel staff, we found that she did not appear to enjoy her job and thart comes across in her performance, but then again i am sure she will have appealed to some guests, just not to our taste. We will be back again next year, without a doubt. It will be our 30th wedding anniversary next year and we could not think of a better hotel to come and celebrate it.More

Sheer class

We stayed 17-31st August. Brilliant arrival, greeted by one of the managers with a cold towel and beverage. Then given our room keys, we requested rooms 643&644 and got given 641&642. Room 641 is an unusual "L-shape" room, with smaller storage available. Both sea-views were outstanding. The annex is quieter at evenings versus the main building due to shows at the bar. All meal services were outstanding, staff were very friendly. During the day, various pool activities which were often busy. The pool bar was very nice, and served you very quickly. During our time here, the local Football team (AEL Limassol) were staying, before their matches with Tottenham and another Cypriot team. They are repeat guests which shows the quality of the Hotel. I found the evening entertainment good, especially the Comedian magician Paul Thomas and the traditional Cypriot dancers. There were also German NATO troops staying, they have been based at the Hotel a while now as they were there two years ago, they don't bother you though, just go about their business. A nice touch on departure, a lunch box. I noticed that only the Miramare do this as we picked up guests from the Oasis and Bay on the way back. Special thanks to the following: .Rodosthenis, Andreas, Christos, Tassos, Yiannis, Theodora, Miltos and rest of bar staff, .Fabian, Christodolous, Chris, Kyriakos from the pool bar . All the Maids who clean the rooms . Momo and Maria who gave their all during the stay, Momo helped me do the ALS Ice bucket challenge and Maria was one of the kindest women you will find .All the staff at the reception as they helped me numerous times, including finding the AEL Limassol club shop . The staff at the restaurant, especially Nada, Costas and Elizabeta as they quickly served you for drinks and moved your dishes away .The biggest thanks goes to Andreas, the manager of the hotel for combining a good work ethic and brilliant service to make your team of workers make every guests stay as enjoyable as it can be.More
