It’s the outdoor scene that sets this hotel apart. Not only is it pulled right up against the beach, its twin pools are bordered by lush palms and white canvas parasols. Plus there's a swim-up bar. Away from the poolside, sleek decked terraces dotted with cushioned wicker chairs and oversized umbrellas make a quiet spot to relax.
Inside, the lobby and cocktail bar is all sink-into-me sofas in shades of coffee and cream, and black leather chaises longues. Bedrooms, meanwhile, are air-conditioned and spacious with large beds. Some of the balconies are big enough to dine out on.
Talking of food, there's the main Thalassa buffet restaurant, that’s all warm honey-coloured walls and linens. It opens out on to a panoramic terrace with views across the pools and sea. For an à la carte lunch or dinner, the Mermaid open-air restaurant by the main pool fits the bill. Lavish buffets and themed nights keep things interesting.
Last but not least, this hotel knows how to pamper its guests. The spa offers up a sauna and steam room, not to mention muscle-melting massages and beauty treatments.

An amazing week !
We (2 couples) have just returned from a fantastic week at this wonderful hotel and I cannot rate it highly enough. From the first moment we were impressed. On arrival we were warmly greeted at the door by the hotel manager and given cool towels and a glass of bubbly. Cold platters were waiting for us in our room, with wine and fruit as we had arrived too late for the evening meal. The week which followed was filled with cheerful, helpful staff, good quality drinks and the most delicious AI buffets we've ever had. Superb sweet selection! Our evening in the Red Room was one to remember, a lovely atmosphere, 5 courses, all perfectly timed, drinks gently topped up all evening, a few words from the manager and guest relations and the chance to meet and thank the chefs at the end of the evening finished it all off beautifully. Rooms, pools, public areas all spotlessly clean. Public area décor and furnishings are contemporary and delightful. Indoor pool was lovely, still needed and much appreciated in early April as the outdoor ones were still a bit too chilly. Bar and waiting staff friendly and efficient. Cocktail menu great fun and really yummy. Thomson rep (Nathan) very helpful and useful. A massive thank you must go to Andrea (Guest Relations) who was there when needed and really made us feel at home. Nothing was too much bother for her and she was the icing on a very tasty cake. All the staff were great but she was extra special. Right up to the moment of our sad departure this hotel looked after us, even bringing us a little picnic box for the plane journey home as we wouldn't get food on a night flight - such a nice touch. I've never felt so sad to be leaving a hotel - a week of happy memories stored away. Thank you Miramare XMore

We stayed here during the first week of April and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. We were made to feel most welcome by each and every member of staff we had contact with and could not single anyone out as the service provided was second to none. Many special touches which made our stay very memorable. Hotel is an oasis, but just off the tourist strip. Beautiful views of the sea and daily flypast of the red arrows whilst we were there. The mix of tourists and corporate guests worked well. We had a great holiday.More

There is nothing I can say about this hotel and its staff that hadn't already been said. I agree wholeheartedly with every positive comment. We definitely hope to return. We found a lovely beach restaurant/bar by walking along the beach to the marina called Plussea. Lovely location and good food.More
We had a two week holiday at this hotel in March/April, we don't usually bother with reviews but felt this was an exception. Firstly, from arrival to departure the attitude, friendliness and efficiency of the staff, and we mean all of the staff, was top class, nothing was too much trouble and we felt "at home" straight away. A special mention must be given to Andrea, of Customer Relations, nothing was too much trouble for this lady. The room was also very good, a bottle of wine and fruit provided, spacious and spotless, which the staff kept this way throughout, with a lovely sea view, worth an upgrade if you don't have the sea view already. The restaurant is buffet for all meals and the choice and quality on offer was of a high standard, most nights were "themed" and all were as previously said. There is also the Red Room restaurant which is more than worth a visit if you have a special occasion or just fancy a treat. The Asteria bar offers a wide selection of beverages and is a very comfortable place to enjoy a drink, again excellent service from the staff. The evening entertainment was average but this would most likely be because it was not high season. There are 3 swimming pools, bit early in the year to try!!, but all were spotless and the indoor pool and gym facilities were very good, there are also tennis courts available. Location was good, a short walk to the main street where frequent buses are available into town. At this time of year the tourist area was quiet but this happened to suit us. Summary, this is an excellent hotel in comfort, decor and facilities but most of all in its staff who make it that bit extra special. Would recommend you give it a try.More

Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!!!!!!!
You are assured a very warm Cypriot welcome at this very special hotel,. We were greeted at the front of the hotel by the Manager and a very friendly lady called Andrea who is the Guest Relations Manager. Such a lovely touch, warm hand towels were issued and then a very welcome glass of bubbly to get you into the holiday mood. The location of the hotel is fabulous and the views breathtaking, it was a treat to wake up every morning to clear blue skies, sparkling sea and the birds singing. The standard of this hotel is excellent, the staff are so friendly and attentive and nothing is a trouble to them. The rooms are very well appointed, the public rooms very spacious and comfortable, creating a very relaxing and warm atmosphere. Although the hotel was not full because of the time of the year, the service was first class as awas the food. We were celebrating a special anniversary when we were there and this did not go unnoticed; Andrea arranged for a bottle of bubbly and a basket of fruit, complete with a signed card from the hotel team to be delivered to our room on the day of the anniversary. We were also lucky enough to be invited into the lovely Al La Carte restaurant for a seven course meal which was superb, as was the service. The weather was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay; having read previous reviews I can understand why people return to this hotel again and again. Andrea and her team helped make our holiday very special and their attention to detail is to be commended. Even on the last day we were given a lovely picnic to take to the airport which was a very nice touch. I will certainly be going back soon, if you like to be pampered, well fed and made to feel special, this is the hotel for you, don't hesitate to book the holidays are only around the corner and as I understand from the staff there, demand is very high and I know exactly why. Visited on 26th March for one week for one week of Heaven! Thanks Andrea and the team, all the very best to you all.More
