Atlantica Miramare Beach

The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.

This hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the sand in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the shoreline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.

Inside, the hotel is really stylish. We’re talking coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.

Lovely holiday exceptional staff

July stay---I have nothing but praise for this hotel, management and staff doing and excellent job. After I was admitted to hospital during my stay for pregnancy related illness, the reception staff were amazing let us keep are room until coach came and so supportive to my husband, sent me fruit and things to hospital the kindness was over whelming. We up graded to all inclusive on arrival for 20 euros each per day, a God send in the heat as lost count of the amount of bottled water a drank, and husband had use of free alcohol. Also ment we got lunch included which was lovely good choice and I'm not normally a pudding person when on holiday but they were so nice. The hotel put on a managers 3 course gala meal, where you sit at tables of 8 was a lovely way to meet with other guests, and the managers and staff come round to each table, and the Thomson holiday rep Louise attended she was the loveliest helpful rep. The hotel is exceptionally clean everywhere inside and out. Rooms good size we had pool view which was lovely. Kettle becomes included if you upgrade to all inclusive. Adults only pool was lovely and peaceful, yes you have to get up early to put towel out but isn't this the same everywhere that Russians and Germans holiday to. Could do with some towel police. Have family pool to which we didn't use but looked nicely set out and clean and in door pool which husband loved doing lengths in refreshing clean and cool. My husband used gym which was extremely well equipped, spa really nice and excellent prices. Food the best meal was lunch, breakfast wide variety but hot breakfast could make few minor changes to make it even more enjoyable. Evening meal different theme each evening with lots of choice. If I have to pick negatives would be Beach black sand and pebbles but does have a walk out to allow access to sea. Koi bar which is lovely bar surrounded by koi fish, think it's just for adults and lovely comfortable setting..but they need to change the fact if all inclusive can only have Keo beer, wine and soft drinks from here. I liked non alcoholic cocktails and husband gin but wouldn't accommodate this. And breakfast although extremely large variety the hot choice was limited. Thomson selling as five star hotel suggest four star. Russian guest completely over rule hotel and I think management should limit the amount of Russians each week. We're love all nations and made friends with some lovely Swedish and Finland people..but Russians were so rude and make you feel un easy. Thank you again to an amazing hotel team. More

Went mid July on an All Inclusive and extremely hot. A lovely clean hotel, rooms nice size and kept nice and clean. Air con very good, kept room nice and cool. Tea and coffee provided. On arrival got a glass of Champagne. Staff very friendly and helpful. Towels provided for sun bathing. Spa on sight for different treatments. Reasonably priced. 4 pools. 1 indoors. 1 children's pool. 1 with a swim up bar, (where you can get a lovely Frappe). and an adults only pool. Entertainment on every night and it's ok. Different each night. Magic and Comedy night was good. Invited to a Gala Night by management, food was a la carte and was a great evening with other couples. Unfortunately have a couple of negatives which Management could put right. Sun Beds and umbrellas seem to be low when hotel is busy. Some guests having 2 or 3 umbrellas, leaving other guests with none. Understand it's extremely hot but be fair, let others have 1 and move your bed around when shade needed. Or Management buy more. Beds seem to be reserved very early in the morning and then not used for half the day. Again not fair on other guests so more beds need to be bought for guests to enjoy their holiday. The dining is very confined. Tables so close together you feel on top of other families. Needs to be spread out a bit more. Considering other restaurants on site are not used this could be rectified. Choice of food is good but a bit repetitive, so tried the bar menu (which you have to pay for) one lunch time and was nice to have some thing different and to have a bit of space when eating. Drinks are local, if you want brands you have to pay 6 euros a drink, outside only 2 euros. More

Get up early to get a good sunbed!!

Lovely greeting on arrival at 10.30pm. Offered a glass of champagne, hot towels and were given a nice brief on our check in. Offered something from the kitchen due to our late arrival as dinner was over. Bottle of red wine and fruit in the room. Instead of a double bed we had two singles pushed together, wasn't really an issue though. Nice sized bedroom area, bathroom a little small. Good sized wardrobes/drawers. You could rent a safe for 3 euro's a day which was reasonable. Nice selection of mini toiletries in the bathroom. No hairdryer (we had bought our own but I didn't notice one in the room). We were in room 201. Next to a stair well and very close to a lift. Was a nice quiet room. Overlooked the back of the hotel but again was not an issue for us. Having read some reviews on here apparently it can be a little noisy facing the seaview but it's really down to preference. Food was good, plenty of choice. Good breakfast selection. Drinks a little more pricey than outside but not horrendous Two pools in the hotel - one kids, one adults. If you wanted a good sunbed around prime spots people seemed to be putting their towels on the bed before 7am. I woke early one morning and was embarrassed going down so early but shocked to see most of the good spots taken. Latest we went down was 8.40am and did manage to bag a bed but it was pot luck. Don't know what the hotel can do about this but would be nice to sort something out as it got stupid. Also could do with more prominent signs regarding the adult only pool. Staff were really good and dealt with any children in the pool, it is a deep pool and it's for the kids safety more than anything. Surrounding area outside of hotel has just a few restaurants and bars. Was very quiet. Marina is a short bus ride away 1.50 euro's each way or took us just over an hour to walk. Beach in front of hotel very short, very narrow and full of large pebbles. Lots of trips available from rep in hotel, Louise our rep was very helpful Small shop near by or others a bit further of a walk. Nice stay for a quiet break.More

4 stars hotel, 5 stars services

The hotel is nice according to 4 stars, very clean with comfortable beds. The rooms and the bathrooms are of good size with enough furniture. The pool's beach is very nice plenty of sunbeds and Mediterranean plants. There are 3 outside pools (one of them only for adults) and one inside heated pool. The pool's water is wonderful, very warm and clean. Good food with a lot of choices. Close to many restaurants and shops ant not too far to the city centre. The public transport is next to the hotel. What were impressive were the services. Despite the fact that it is a big hotel the staff is great and they accomplish their duty at the very high level. Hotel's bad points: - the sea beach is too small, with pebbles and with grey/black sand (looks ugly) - people from outside the hotel come on the beaches (even on the pool beach) - the safe it is not free (as it is expected according to 4 stars hotel) - the mini-bar is locked, you have to ask for the key if you want to use it and you are not allowed to put your on beverages in the fridge even if you want to pay for it I take the opportunity to thanks to the following (and sorry if I miss somebody because I don't remember everybody for they are too many): - Marios (manager), Chalalambos, Kostas, Theodosis, Andreas, Felicia, Cristina, Gabriela, Pambos - from restaurant - Maria - from guest relations - Andreas, Thetis, Doros, Iskra, Maruska - from reception - Maria, Mia, Aneta, Panicos, Bogdan, Stefan, Tasos, Ana, Aleksandra, Christodoulos, Kiriacos - from bars - Diana, Anna, Anastasia - hostess - Iuliana, Adriana, Maria, Violeta - housekeepers - Marian - chefMore

Enjoyable holiday

Positives - Hotel was smart, very clean with lots of facilities. The staff are fantastic, as other reviewers have pointed out. We had a double, sea view room on the top floor. The bed was enormous and very comfortable, air con was great, no problem with wifi, bathroom was very clean but a little bit small. We went full board and the food was really good - especially on gala dinner night. Beach was rocky but you could use pontoon for swimming. Adult pool was well staffed - kids immediately kicked out of it Negatives - Drink prices are very high! €5 for a local beer (€2.5 outside hotel). There were no tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Need to get up early for a sunbed and even then we had ours (temporarily!) stolen by some Russians. The big negative though is the Russians! As others have said they push and shove their way to food, shove past to get to the lifts, take full plates of food and stuff into bags, pockets etc (hotel staff don't seem to care),,, as well as taking any sunbed they decide is theirs. Not all the hotels fault but just telling it as it is. Would we stay again? YesMore
