EXCELLENT HOTEL

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Atlantica Miramare Beach hotel, on arrival we were greeted by the duty manager and given cold face cloths and lovely champagne whilst the bell boys took care of our cases to our Delux room on the 4th floor, we had a lovely sea view. The hotel had four pools we went in the adult pool which was perfect. The food was excellent. The staff were so lovely always smiling and could'nt do enough for you, they all went out of their way to help us. The rooms were cleaned every day and cleaned towells every day. It was our wedding anniversary while we were there and was given champagne which was a lovely surprise. We could have stayed another week it was so relaxing. Well done to all.More

Let down in the End

I came here and booked the hotel direct in view of a wedding we had. I often come to Cyprus but this is my first time in Limassol and this hotel. To begin with the hotel is fine. We upgraded on the day of the our arrival to All Inclusive but had agreed to exclude two days on the day and a further day later - all with approval of the front office. In addition I was quoted an upgrade figure before arrival so there for had an idea of the cost. Upon Arrival I was give a different figure and there was a significant uplift in my sons upgrade irrespective of us having a prior agreed rate. I was further advised the quote I was offered via email was incorrect also. To save embarrassment I paid the whole about so at least we can start dining and then emailed the management later to clarify matters. Management came back to me 3 days later confirming they would like to meet with me. After the meeting everything was ok and there was a credit on my account around 4- 500 euros to reflect the prior agreement. Upon departure I thought I would settle up with them only to experience humiliation by the front desk stating that we can't refund all the money now because the hotel had done enough for me. I was then advised to write in to the management again so I did from my hotel room reflecting my disappointment (Very Frustrating). The next day (Day of departure) I was advised by the front office that the management would only refund me part of the amount due now. In disgust I didn't accept any refund and told them to keep it. In the UK this would have been described as a fraud!. I will not be retuning here again. I would also recommend do not prepay any money on the day of arrival unless you have a pre agreed price and the front office is well aware. I spent several thousand of Euros here and was treated as a complete idiot! I have nothing further to add other than so such a small issue the hotel let me down and regrettably this is due to the management in Particular Ms Persia! Please look to retrain her as you risk further negative reviews which could only further jeopardise the credibility of your hotel. I have extensive email regarding this experience. Therefore if the hotel wish to respond in a defensive manner I will not hesitate to publish the emails. Please look at this criticism serious as its the management that have let the whole team down due to their silly behaviour and lack of compassion only at the end. This for me with regret overshadowed my whole stay. I am not a one off traveller I often travel all over the world and have much experience in how Guest Relations should be conducted.More

Great place with great people

I went for a day with my family We had a really good time by the pool but what makes me feel special is the way they tried us in the restaurant The service was very good and professional especially a chef with a name Sergis if I am correct He came to our table and ask my wife and the kids if everything was up to our expectations and if we need something else He and all the staff was very polite with all the guest A small extra makes the difference Looking forward to visit the area again Many thanks to all the staff More

Annaversary/Holiday

I booked this holiday through Thomson travel agent. I was a 5 star place, that catered for everything you needed. we loved it and the food was excellent. next time we go we will book a sea view room. ours was fine but we would like to try sea view next time. pools were great and spa was lovely. staff were really friendly. even the cleaners were good and came twice a day.weather was good too and try out the jet sky's along from the hotel towards the next hotel there good.More

Fantastic!

Just returned from a week at the Atlantica Miramare Beach, and it far exceeded our expectations. On arrival the duty manager came to the door to greet us, shook our hands, offered us a warm facecloth to freshen up, sat us down and got us a glass of champagne whilst the staff took care of the checking in process. This was a lovely way to greet guests, and made us feel very special. It was my husband's 40th birthday on the day of arrival, and when we got to our suite (which was beautiful) there was a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake waiting for us. Before we arrived I had emailed the hotel to ask if they could book a table in the a la carte restaurant for us for out first evening. When we entered the restaurant they had decorated the table with balloons, streamers, happy birthday napkins and really made a fuss of my husband. We had complimentary champagne, and an amazing meal too. Then after the main course, the staff came out singing Happy Birthday, with another cake!! When we asked for the bill at the end of the evening, we were told that the meal was compliments of the management. Wow, we really didn't see that one coming, and were so appreciative of the gesture. The staff were absolutely amazing, and a special thanks to Christina, who was just the most lovely lady, and really took care of us for the whole week. In addition, all front of house staff, bar staff and restaurant staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. You genuinely felt that they wanted to ensure that you had a great holiday experience, but it wasn't in a sickly sweet, fake way, they were just all genuinely lovely people, and a real credit to the hotel. We were invited to a BBQ hosted by the Hotel Manager on our second night which was set in the gardens of the hotel, and was absolutely lovely. The manager introduced us to the staff, and took the time to chat to everyone about their holidays, which was a lovely touch. The food was great, drinks on tap, and the pool areas were clean and tidy, the cleanliness throughout the hotel and our suite was amazing (considering the amount of people they were catering for). Special mention to staff members, Cristina (restaurant), Maria (front of house), Peter (really polite lovely barman), Alin (barman in Koi Bar) and Johanna. These staff members were just always friendly and smiling whenever you saw them, just lovely, lovely people. I would return to the hotel in a heartbeat, it really was the best holiday experience I have ever had. If you haven't already thought about booking this place, do it now!!! We hope to return next year with the children, as they seemed to cater very well for families too. Thanks again to all at Atlantica Miramare, we hope to see you again soon!More
