The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.
This hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the sand in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the shoreline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.
Inside, the hotel is really stylish. We’re talking coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.

We stayed here from 11 to 18 January 2015 and had a fantastic time. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We booked through Thompson and stayed 'all inclusive' and nothing was too much trouble. I think some of the other independent reviewers look down on this but for the price we paid it couldn't be beaten.I would rate it five star from a holiday company, but not five star in world hotel comparisons, for example against The Ritz in Paris which I have not stayed at. I am giving it a five star review which is not the same thing at all. It also had excellent free wifi available in all areas of the hotel. More

In an effort to make this shorter than it might be, let me start off by saying that in the main, we agree with Sarah J from London (please do scroll down and read her review). As part of a couple, who have true experience of extensive travel, we feel sarah Jâs comments are pretty spot on. Having read other more glowing reviews, we can understand that some people with less extensive travel experience or experience of lower end hotels could very well be impressed by this hotel but as in life, experience adds value to your opinion. We have stayed in many, many 3, 4 or 5 star establishments around the world which were infinitely superior to the Miramare. We found the hotel to be almost in two parts. The things they did well they did very well, but the bits which were not so good were actually quite poor. On arrival in Cyprus, we did not have a transfer but we had hired a car from the airport. We had great difficulty finding the hotel as it is down a side street and the sign on the main road is obscured by a bush. Even local taxi drivers could not give us good directions. On our arrival at midnight, the welcome to the hotel was excellent and they provided us with a lovely cold meal and a bottle of wine in our room. The hotel looked lovely and inviting. Imagine our dismay the next morning to find that our room overlooked the hotel car park and taxi rank and there was a sex shop and a topless dancing club very near the hotel. The main street behind which the hotel is located was pretty poor. It was run down, vandalism everywhere, broken pavements, closed down shops and a real poor feeling to it. There was nowhere pleasant to walk to from this road. Overall this hotel is definitely not what we would expect of a 5T Platinum hotel. The bedroom was OK but basic with charge for mini bar and safe. At this standard of hotel we would have expected safe to be free. Some of the other things we were dissatisfied with were: Part of the dining room was taken up with UN staff although this was not a major problem. There was a group of about 120 expats who were loud, pompous ,arrogant and rude and were allowed to take over the hotel for 3 days at Xmas despite supposedly having their own room and entertainment. We were moved out of our dining room for a wedding which is unacceptable. There was also a second wedding later in the week. Both weddings took staff away from holiday guests. On these occasions, the hotel car park, marked for residents only was full of wedding guestâs cars and we had to park elsewhere. A large group of noisy young volleyball players stayed in the hotel towards the end of our stay There were not enough seats in the bar / entertainment area especially at Xmas and New Year. At one point we counted over 20 people having to stand to watch the show. Priority in bar / entertainment area given to ex-pats over Xmas and locals who attended the weddings. The % of alcohol in AI local spirits was unacceptable low. Could drink all night and still be under the legal driving limit. (we had breathalyser with us as we had a car). Extremely disappointed that when opting for a premium spirit no financial allowance was made for the fact that we had already paid the AI levy. In all previous experiences when choosing this option, we only paid a % of the cost for premium spirits. Both at Xmas and New Year, hotel advertised a cocktail hour prior to the Gala Dinners but these were not forthcoming on either occasion. Apparently, we later found out, if you went to reception and complained bitterly you were supplied with one drink per person. In previous hotels we have stayed in at Xmas, cocktails were supplied for the duration of the hour. Check out was 12 noon and flight not till 10:30pm. Hotel charge 50 euros to keep room to 6pm â exorbitant price especially given that the hotel was not full when we left. As far as the food was concerned, the variety was poor compared with many hotels we have stayed at of a lesser T rating and it was of a mainly unacceptably low temperature. Xmas âGala dinnerâ very poor, the worst we have had in 18 years of going abroad for Xmas. It was just like an ordinary meal with crackers on the table and Christmas pudding added to the dessert menu. New Year much more what we expected of a Gala meal although not up to what we would expect of a 5T standard hotel. We were invited to the Red Room for dinner one evening and the food and service was truly excellent. This was the singular thing about our holiday that we actually rated 5T. Entertainment was excellent but there was not enough variety and acts did not have a big enough repertoire so became very boring with the exception of Paul the magician whom we saw only twice and did two different shows. We saw all other acts at least four times. Conclusion â this hotel needs to decide if it is to be a city hotel or a tourist hotel as at present it is doing neither well.More

We stayed at this hotel from 3rd December to 10th December 2014. The hotel was great upon arrival we received drinks and were invited to a evening dinner the following day. Staff were kind and friendly and the location was lovely. We didnt enjoy the food at the hotel so ate out most days. Overall it was a relaxing pleasant stay. We would stay again. More
JIM & HILDA (WIRRAL) "CRACKING HOLIDAY"
Have just arrived back after spending Christmas and New Year at the MIRAMARE.We have stayed there twice before and have to say the hotel just gets better and better. We agree with all that Jane P says in her review. We would like to add our own thanks to the following members of the hotel staff:- PERSIA (accommodation manager),MARIA (customer service), MARIOS (restaurant manager)who was particularly helpfull and charming,GABY (head waiter), ANITA,CHRIS,ALAN,IRINA,YANIS and all the other waiters, also the CHEFS who came up with excellent fare. We had a junior suite overlooking the pool and sea, complete with lounge, separate bedroom,TV in each room, coffee machine, kettle etc,the tea, sugar, milk etc were topped up each day. The room was cleaned daily and the sheets changed every other day. Considering the lack of space, the entertainment was of a high standard,we particularly liked PAUL the magician(thanks for giving me my watch back),the LATIN DANCERS were also very good,as were the Cypriot duo and the Cypriot dancers. WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK AGAIN .More
