When you're looking to escape the holiday hordes, you need a genuine hideaway home - somewhere that's away-from-it-all but not completely cut off. And that's what you get with Villa Charis. The nearest village is Neo Chorio and at over a kilometre away it's not exactly on the doorstep. But it is within easy walking distance. So if you don't fancy cook-a-thon evenings, the three village tavernas are handy to say the least. Plus the beach and shops of Latchi are just a ten minute drive down the road.

Of course, it goes almost without saying that an off the beaten track location like this comes with fantastic views. You can see for miles from here. Out over Polis and Latchi. The Akamas Peninsula. And even out to sea. Put simply, it's breathtaking.

Views aside, the best thing about this place is the pool. It sits on the lower half of a split-level terrace, so it's very private. And it's got a six step Roman entrance – perfect for lounging half in and half out of the water.

Inside, it's a cosy blend of modern and traditional with lots of wood and wicker furniture. And because the living and dining room are open-plan, it's really spacious – so you've got plenty of room to play with. Add to that three bedrooms, three bathrooms and mod cons that run the gamut from dishwasher to satellite TV, and you've got all the ingredients for a hassle-free hideaway holiday.
