The Secret Oasis Villas balance on the edge of Coral Bay, where banana and orange trees outnumber houses. That said, they’re also just a five-minute drive from the restaurants, shops and beach.
Smart, private pools come surrounded by terraces with teal sunloungers. The villas have their own barbecues and al fresco dining areas, too – all overlooking the orchard-dressed countryside.
Traditional and contemporary looks combine at the Secret Oasis Villas – you’ll find stone pillars on the outside and smart wooden furniture and mod-cons on the inside.
Thomson Villas with Pools is now called Villas Collection. Whether you’re after a place with a pool, or a rustic retreat in the heart of the countryside, this is where you’ll find it. Read more ››

We have just come back from staying at the villa Yaismin for two weeks and I can honestly say they were the most relaxing two weeks of my life. We struggled to find an in depth review, so will try to do one myself. We wasn't very keen when we turned up around 11pm to absolute pitch black,we knew the villa was secluded, but was expecting some distant lights, or at least a bit of holiday makers noise from the other villas nearby. Nope, it's very dark and VERY quiet. However, the following morning more than made up for it. The views are outstanding, and it is so tranquil its difficult to remember your only 10 minutes drive away from the busy town of Coral Bay. The villa is basic, but with everything you will need but with a strange mix of kitchen utensils (3 cheese graters but no large knives for bread or meat) but I did find one steak knife that we managed with. The bbq was difficult to get lit,but we were told later that when the weather is so hot, trying to light a bbq is incredibly difficult however we noticed a neighbour across the way got theirs lit so maybe we tried to early in the day? Or just bought cheap charcoal! The pool is heavenly and the pool man rather amusing to chat to. We only saw him to speak to a couple of times, think he must come very early as we were up most days by 7am. We found Zentas the best place to eat out,it's near the top of the main strip in Coral Bay. I wouldn't say it's particularly cheap here (Cyprus in General) either, but we mixed up eating in and out so spread our euros a little further. There are lots of lizards near the villa, mostly small ones, but lovely to see. Also some rather large wasps that hover around the pool to get water, but don't really bother you too much. Sadly my husband got bitten over 20 times in one evening and we're still not sure if it was inside or out,but it got dark very quickly and quite early our first week, so went indoors quite a bit, so I'm not sure. The driveway to this particular villa is where the cleaners and pool man,the manager and owner all pull up alongside, so be warned if you sunbathe topless haha. We only saw each of these once bar the pool man who comes around 3 times a week. All in all it was a fantastic holiday but a couple of reasons we wouldn't come back and that's because you have to pay 7€ per night per bedroom for aircon. We felt in such a hot country this is a bit steep,or should be included in the overall price of the villa. No aircon in the main living areas either,so when we went in after dark, we basically were going to bed to cool down. There is a free standing fan, but it just wafts hot air around. Also, it is SO dark, we felt we couldn't enjoy sitting outside in the evening's even with the lights on, a little too quiet for us, no background noise at all. Maybe if we had gone as a group we would have felt differently. Who knows. I will try to add some photos too and have you any questions, I'm happy to try to answer them. More
Second visit to villa Yiasmin
This was our second visit to Cyprus staying at the secret Oasis villa Yiasmin. It did not disappoint. Quiet and peaceful location, for tranquil relaxation. The villa over looks the sea & is a short drive from either Paphos or Coral Bay. Cannot wait to return. More

Great Villa & Pool, nicely Isolated
Perfect pool, great BBQ area and amazing broad band connectivity. What more could you want? Villa is in a small group of 4 but do not overlook eachother. Didn't rate the holiday as 5 star as local town, Coral Bay, is a hole.More
Get away from it all
We booked a one week stay at the Anemona Villa through Thomson. It is a lovely spacious, bright and comfortable villa away from the main tourist hotels in the Coral Bay area. There were two of us and this villa was more than big enough for us, we were outside all the time. It is also very private. Anemona is a detached villa that borders a neighbours home occupied by a local family. They keep dogs that bark throughout the night, however they were really quiet during the day. The other Secret Oasis villas are pretty much opposite and look beautiful aswell. We chose not to have air conditioning as we love the heat, this meant that we could hear the dogs barking at night as we had the windows and doors open. This was our personal experience and perhaps other people would choose to sleep with windows closed and aircon on which may prevent the noise from disturbing sleep. We made the Thomson rep aware of the issue and kept recordings, the rep liased with the landlord and the neighbour did manage to reduce the barking. Aircon is an additional cost if you need it, we love the heat and hate aircon. However, it is worth factoring the cost of aircon into your holiday as there isn't a lot of breeze around and only x2 floor fans if you are too hot. The main bedroom has a firm double bed, dressing table, lots of wardrobe space (inc hangers) and a proper hairdryer. The bathroom has a shower over bath, basin and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds, wardrobes and access to a family bathroom with a shower cubicle. Kitchen has a washing machine, dish washer, electric hob, oven, large fridge, small freezer box, microwave, basic cutlery, plates and pans. Dishwasher tablets are supplied along with x2 tea towels. Nothing else is supplied to clean or cook with, so buy at the local supermarket or bring your own. We took with us clingfilm, kitchen roll, anti bacterial kitchen wipes, wash up liquid, salt pepper, cafettiere, coffee, teabags, coolbags, water bottles, tupperware, bin liner and a spare toilet roll from home. Two bottles of water were in the fridge on our arrival. We should have also brought handwash for the bathroom. The outdoor pool area is lovely with x4 sunloungers an umbrella and access to shade if you need it. You need to bring your own beach/pool towels are they are not supplied. The wifi is good enough to stream, surf and download so we could watch films under the stars at night on our ipad and download lots more books to read during the day around the pool. Pool guy comes before 8am three times a week, very quiet and polite gentleman. The nearest supermarket is less than 5 minute drive towards Coral Bay called Phillipos. It is very well stocked and the bakery has the freshest and best bread, pastries and cakes. It never had Feta cheese though! The Lidl supermarket is approx 10 minutes away towards Paphos and they had a good selection too (especially Feta cheese) A car is necessary to get around, however once settled at the villa you can explore on foot the banana plantations around the villa. If you put Mavrokolympus Dam into Google Earth you can see whereabouts you will be. There is some construction going on nearby and you can see and hear the machinery and vehicles throughout the day. It is not horrendous and the works are not continuous. It did not affect our solitude or peace during our stay. My partner was badley bitten by sand flies outside at the villa, however I was totally OK. I would recommend bringing an insect repellent with you. There are lots of Gecko's and otherwildlife to watch around the villa. We were lucky enough to see a Whip snake one day by the pool - as soon as it saw us it took off straight away. The Thomson flight is basic, no entertainment and very cramped. Ensure you have got enough food and drink aswell as plenty of reading material etc to pass the time. We arrived late on a Sunday evening, I recommend buying food at the UK airport for when you land as there is nothing at Paphos airport and it may be tricky to eat at a restaurant late on a Sunday night. The free car hire is free if you ask for a full/full fuel arrangement, you don't have to upgrade your excess in case of collision etc. however, the Europcar agents do try and give you a scare story/hard sell. You have to allow them to hold £200 on your credit card incase you get any parking tickets etc, they don't charge anything though its just for security. The Kia Picanto is very small and will accomodate x2 suitcases for two adults but if there is anymore of you then you may have to upgrade the car. It was economical and easy to drive. We checked it over with the car hire firm in the dark for dents etc. It all went smoothly and I didn't feel as if we would be ripped off! We had a lovely, chilled out week and would definitely recommend the Anemona Villa for a laid back, relaxing holiday. Thank you very much to the Landlord for an enjoyable and much needed weeks holiday.More
