This boutique hotel lines up a beachside location and two pools.
The King Jason Protaras opened its doors in April 2016, modelled on the popular King Jason Paphos at the other end of the island, which is TripAdvisor's number one hotel in Paphos. This place will boast a luxury boutique style. And to top it off, it’s right next to a beach.
Location-wise, you’re next to a popular sandy beach. Within a 10-minute walk, you’ll find a selection of cocktail and karaoke bars, as well as Cypriot tavernas.

Absolutely nothing to criticise
I won't repeat others' praises except to say this hotel is as good as others say it is. We've stayed at a lot of good (and not-so-good) hotels over the years and this is up there with the best. Yes it's a 4-star not a 5 - but the difference is hard to spot. What sets this hotel apart is the friendliness of all staff working there - with the example set my managers Loukia and Nikolas who are always on hand to ask how things are going and help out. The hotel only has about 80 rooms so it doesn't feel big or overcrowded. By the way, it's adult only and all rooms are sold by UK travel agents.More
Just as good as it looks in the pictures - highly recommended!
Me and my husband are not long back from an amazing 11 night stay at The King Jason and we weren't disappointed. Often hotels do not quite live up to the photos you see on the website, but this certainly wasn't the case here. The hotel is beautiful and has a very cool/modern feel to it. On arrival we were greeted with a cool glass of sparkling wine and complimentary chocolates, check in was very quick and because we had arrived after the restaurant had closed they even provided us with sandwiches and snacks in our room fridge, ROOM: We had a suite on the ground floor which was super convenient, and despite being on the ground floor we still had a brilliant view. The room immaculate, very spacious, and had plenty of storage (we had a wardrobe each). The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower is really powerful. Ladies - there is a hairdryer, iron and mini ironing board in the rooms too which were really handy (I had struggled to find this information before we travelled). They provide a complimentary King Jason beach bag which is a really cute touch. The only downside to the room for me was the fact that the TV faces the sofa and not the bed (I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes to watch tv before I go to sleep), this could easily be fixed with a tv bracket that swings around. FOOD: The food was really tasty and immaculately presented (in particular the desert table which looks like something out of a wedding!) and there was always a good variety of choice through-out our stay. They have themed nights which are repeated weekly so it could get repetitive depending on length of stay. The Italian night was by far my favourite but a serious carb overload as I had to try all the pasta/risotto dishes. We would usually eat out a couple of times during our holiday but we didn't feel the need to, we did break it up by visiting the meze restaurant twice, again food and the service here was excellent particularly from Sophia. STAFF: From reception, to the restaurant, pool staff and cleaners, all the staff we encountered we're extremely friendly, polite and helpful and always seemed to be smiling. In particular I'd like to give a mention to Nina, Cosmin, and Asen who were also good fun as well as excellent at their jobs, they are an asset to the hotel. You will find that usually on your first day both the Hotel and restaurant managers will come and introduce themselves to you which is a nice touch. I suspect this is also to familiarise themselves with guests as you are not required to wear a tacky wristband when you're all inclusive and the the general public could have easy access to the hotel. POOL: The pool area is very clean and quiet, there is no entertainment at this hotel (so if you like water aerobics and pool games you might need to reconsider), but actually it made for a really peaceful setting and is the most relaxed I've felt on holiday for a long time. The oval sunbeds are ridiculously comfy as too are the normal ones. There is a 'do not reserve' policy for sunbeds but it's not really enforced. There isn't really the need as we found that they were still available at 8am which is unusual for a lot of hotels I've been to. Fresh pool towels are available to collect at reception when you need them The hotel has a lifeguard on duty all day, considering this is an adults only hotel I was pleasantly surprised by this. There is a pool bar, it's quite basic and in terms of alcohol it only stocks beer and wine. If you want spirits or a cocktail then the staff have to get this from the bar inside (which they are more than happy to do so), however it means there can be quite a wait for the drinks to be brought to you at times and frozen cocktails will have melted quite a lot. A better stocked bar with some bar stools would be a nice improvement, I always think its nice to have the option to sit at the bar as I often find that's where people get chatting to each other. I'll also add that they do stock branded drinks as well as local which is good. LOCATION: The hotel is in a lovely location with beautiful sea views. We had spotted this hotel after walking along the Sea front we visited Protaras back in October. There is no need for evening entertainment (plus they wouldn't have the room anyway) as the main strip of bars, restaurants and shops is only a couple of minutes walk away and there is plenty to chose from. WIFI: Wifi is free and you actually get a really good connection, it even reaches down by the pool. CHECK-OUT: Check out is at 12pm and was a quick and painless process. There is no need for late check out as they have a luggage room for you to store your belongings, and you are also given a 45 minute slot in one of their hotel rooms to freshen up before your flight home. The hotel even opened their restaurant early for us as a group of us were due to be picked up for the airport not long before the restaurant was due to open. We don't usually go to the same location twice let alone hotel but we are already considering visiting again later in the year and would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you King Jason for a brilliant holiday.More
Stayed here end of may , my husband and I were told it was a good hotel and we were not disappointed Both of us appreciate good food and that is what we got , freshly cooked , constantly , in small batches , and if you did ask for something it appeared in an instant The whole ambience of the hotel was amazing and staff went beyond the call of duty at every opportunity All in all an amazing place to stay More

Just returned from the king Jason hotel , it was our 1st visit to Cyprus and the hotel, and we were not disappointed. This hotel is first class , the staff are excellcent special mention to Bogdan and Karman. The rooms are very spacious and lovely comfy beds , food in the hotel was fantastic plenty of choice and loved the themed nights there was something for everyone. The drinks all branded and the bar staff again were very good , as soon as your glass was empty they were there to ask if you wanted another. I would definitely recommend this hotel and can't wait to return , only downside was there was no entertainment but most people either went out or sat around talking and playing cards , it didn't bother us as we wanted a relaxing holiday but it may be something the hotel could look at doing in the future.More
