The King Jason Protaras opened its doors in April 2016, modelled on the popular King Jason Paphos at the other end of the island, which is TripAdvisor's number one hotel in Paphos. This place will boast a luxury boutique style. And to top it off, it’s right next to a beach.
Location-wise, you’re next to a popular sandy beach. Within a 10-minute walk, you’ll find a selection of cocktail and karaoke bars, as well as Cypriot tavernas.

Can't recommend this hotel enough if you want the ultimate chilled holiday. Just returned home from The King Jason and we had such an amazing time. The decor of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, very sophisticated and has a boutique feel. It's great that it's adults only too! The hotel is very quite, plays nice chilled jazz music! Food is amazing. Lovely selection every day and healthy too! Sunbeds are lovely! So comfy everyone was just asleep. Location is amazing looks right over fig tree bay and a short stroll to the strip. Rooms were lovely and clean and very modern. Great touch having free bath robes, beach bags & towels! King Jason is a lovely hotel but there could be some improvements to make it a 5*. For instance food stops at 9.30 and then there is no snacks for the remainder of the evening. If you've had dinner fairly early you do get quite peckish. So it'd be nice to have some crisps or olives etc with tou drinks. Cocktails can not be had with lunch or dinner. Bar closes at 12 which is fairly early. The mini bar in your room isn't stocked with any drinks apart from water. Also I feel the hotel could benefit from a few more al a carte restaurants as eating in the buffet does get boring. The meze was also nice. The hotel needs some form of entertainment in the evening, nothing Cheesy maybe just a pianist or live singer. We had an amazing stay, staff were also lovely. Sometimes a little bit too attentive trying to take your plate whilst still eating. King Jason is a beautiful hotel. I would defo recommend!! Thank you guys for having us! Hope to return in the future xxMore
Great hotel and getting better
We came back to this lovely hotel mid-April and got a great welcome from our old friend Nikolas and the lovely lady in charge of reception. Our room was superb with lovely views of the shoreline and we were very lucky with great weather which we heard was unseasonal. It was nice to re-acquaint ourselves with the staff we had met when it first opened - Lukia the restaurant manager remembered us and her staff are a credit to her - service is top notch. The quality and variety of food are incredibly high which is one reason we came back. The kitchen staff went out their way to help with any queries and the head chef was very understanding - even when I managed to drop the tureen lid into the soup!! The hotel now benefits from a covered area with comfy seats for evening drinks. We also ate in the Mezze restaurant which has to be recommended - the food, staff and wine were fantastic. We also enjoyed a catch-up with George, Savvas and Marios - great to see you all again. Well Nikolas, we are happy to say your hotel goes from strength to strength and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you and hope to be back soon. Thank you, "Mr Liam" & EileenMore

We returned from our week at this wonderful place 15th from arrival until the moment we left we felt and were treated like we were the only ones visiting! nothing was ever too much trouble everything we could have asked for is at this hotel I generally don't go for all inclusive yet the food was out of this world fresh with so much variety catering for every taste! I can't thank everyone enough who works so hard to make your stay unforgettable. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble I'm terrible with names but from the Managers to the bar staff/ waiters/ waitresses/ cleaners/ maintenance/ and anyone else who works at this wonderful place I thank you all so much for your friendliness helpfulness and kindness at all times right up until the moment we left.. Ours was a last minute break with our son all we wanted was a relaxing time in a beautiful location and the King Jason certainly gave us over and above anything we could have expected. I usually am ready to go home when its time to leave but wish we could have stayed longer! The one negative I have is that we missed the Sunday roast! As we flew home before it was served! I generally never like to return to the same hotel/location but wouldn't think twice on returning in the future to this wonderful Hotel More

Another Wonderful King Jason Experience
We stayed at king Jason 26th April - 3rd May, after staying at King Jason Paphos last year, we had high expectations and King Jason Protaras certainly did not disappoint! The reception staff Ana and Antonia are very helpful and obliging helping us with our room requests prior to arriving. The manager Nicholas and all his staff go above and beyond to ensure all guests are having a good experience, with a particular mention of Sofia from the Meze restaurant and Bogden in the main restaurant. We visited the lovely Meze restaurant twice during our trip and it is certainly worth getting booked in the food is of a high standard and absolutely delicious! The King Jason is a wonderful, well equipped hotel in a beautiful setting, we will definitely be making a return visit in the future.More
