The Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa counts a brilliant dining scene, a state-of-the-art spa and an attractive pool area among its best features.
This place has scored a plum position on one of the area’s best beaches. It means you’re only steps from the sand, and a short stroll takes you into Protaras, where you’ll find a cluster of tavernas and cafés.
The hotel is really stylish – think geometric marble pillars coupled with softly curved recesses. The pool scene’s pretty swish, too. You’ll find Balinese-style daybeds framing the water.

Stunningly beautiful hotel. The facilities are top notch including an incredible spa area. The rooms are kept immaculate and the beds are a bit too comfortable! The food, oh my God! I was blown away by the standard, every single day. The allocated sun beds are a brilliant idea. The cold towels and fresh fruit brought round daily are a perfect touch... Everything was wonderful and I got engaged at this hotel which makes it all the more special. We absolutely shall return! Do not hesitate, book this hotel. You will not be disappointed! More
What a holiday should be. Excellent!
We booked this hotel as a late deal, and were there from the 15-28th July, Reception: We arrived in the early hours of the 16th and were welcomed with a drink and an information pack for the morning and informed that as we had missed our meal that evening that we would be able to have lunch the next day (we were half board), having asked if we could have dinner instead on our day of departure we were told that this would not be a problem. Our bags were then taken to our room and we were informed how to use the safe, for which there was no charge. It was a nice touch to have water in the room for when we arrived. Room: We stayed in a sea view twin room (712). The room was modern and stylish with all amenities that you could require. The room was immaculately cleaned and turn down service with chocolates was a nice touch. The rooms were very large with a balcony with table and chairs and a small drier. The beds were very comfortable and there were twin sinks and a rainfall shower in the bathroom. The back of our room did face a bar and a restaurant from the strip, however we heard no noise from the strip at all. I would recommend obtaining a room on a higher floor to ensure the gain the best sea view that you possibly can, as I can imagine it would be stunning from the higher floors. Eating: Many reviews have already discussed the eating out option, which is superb! We really enjoyed Marcellos the italian, and the greek restaurant, as well as reef the american grill, which we thought wouldn't be as good as the others, but were pleasantly surprised. Lemongrass the pan asian was OK. Fishbone, the onsite fish restaurant was superb, I would recommend the salmon and asparagus risotto. You can eat at all of the above a maximum of twice a week. Waterfall is the buffet style restaurant at the hotel, however the standard of the service and the quality of the food is exceptional. We wished we had eaten here more often! Pool: The pools are well designed with separate pools dependant on your requirements, Childs pool, adults only and an open access pool for residents were activities such as aqua aerobics would take place. All immaculately clean. The pool attendants were always very friendly and extremely helpful. The sunbed system where you had the same bed for the duration of your stay was excellent, and if you wanted to move you could. As a couple we were based in the garden section, and wondered if we would move to the adults only section, however many couples who had moved stated that they wish they hadn't as there was less room to move you bed etc. Daytime activities around the pool by Louiza were excellent. Nice touch with the cold towels and fruit. Staff: The staff are what make this hotel, as many people have stated. They all have a genuine desire to ensure that you have the best experience. A special mention to Maria at the pool and mar cellos for always making an effort to say hello and have a chat, as did many other members of staff. George the Maitre D and all of the staff were superb, and all work so hard. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday. Please do not hesitate, just go, you will not regret it!More
This was our second visit to the hotel after staying last September. Everything was good if not better than last time. The staff are really what makes this hotel and we really made to feel welcome. We went half board and the selection of food was once again fantastic. The chefs are so friendly and even remembered what I had each morning! We had our other half board meal for lunch and then would go out for dinner in the evening, we even managed to get to the LemonGrass and Italian restaurant without a booking. We didn't visit the Verano bar in September as it looked a little quiet, but we visited this year and wished we had done last year as it was great, really chilled out, great cocktails and a good dj. We hope to be back soon!!!More

Best hotel I have stayed in!!! ** A MUST STAY **
We have just returned from our honeymoon having stayed here at the Sunrise Pearl and I have to say it's the best hotel I have ever stayed in!!! We had a sea view room as our honeymoon and had a beautiful view of the pool area and the sea (see pics). Location was amazing, on the beach front and moments away from the strip! The room was spotless and very modern! Massive king size bed with the normal AC, LCD tv (good choice of channels), big bathroom with a choice of showers. The room was cleaned twice a day with sheets and towels changed daily! A nice little touch was chocolate and water left for us both after every service! We also were touched by some fruit, a card and champagne on ice waiting in our room on arrival to.congratulate us on our marriage...this was a lovely thing to have done for us :) The pool area was beautiful! Clean towels provided every morning along with your allocated sun beds which was great as saved the hassle of getting up early and starting a free for all :) Waiter service for drinks and offerings of fruit and cold flannels was welcomed during the day especially being soooo hot!!!!! We stayed half board and the food quality in all 6 restaurants (4 of site on the main strip) was superb! With the 4 restaurants being off site, it had a lovely feel of being able to get away from the hotel for a change of scenery (not that it was needed as so good). I would especially recommend the fish, Asian and Greek restaurant :) But what made it really special was the staff who worked there :) I can not speak highly of them all!!! From the room cleaners, to the pool attendents, from the waiting staff to the spa staff and of course the reception team and management! Every single one of them was polite, repsectful, caring and NOTHING was to much trouble at any time of day! From the day we arrived to the minute we left, I have never felt so well treated by hotel staff! I would like to say thank you to them all from making our honeymoon so relaxing, enjoyable and unforgettable :) I can see why this is rated #1 hotel in Protaras and we shall definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary one day :) If it's good enough for music stars then you know it'd one hell of a hotel :)More
Absolutely superb hotel and location. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful . The best idea ever was the allocated sunbeds, it made each day so much more enjoyable.
