Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa

The Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa counts a brilliant dining scene, a state-of-the-art spa and an attractive pool area among its best features.

This place has scored a plum position on one of the area’s best beaches. It means you’re only steps from the sand, and a short stroll takes you into Protaras, where you’ll find a cluster of tavernas and cafés.

The hotel is really stylish – think geometric marble pillars coupled with softly curved recesses. The pool scene’s pretty swish, too. You’ll find Balinese-style daybeds framing the water.

Definitely 5 star hotel!

Me and my boyfriend cam here for 1 week for our anniversary where we just could not fault the hotel. The fish restaurant at the beach front is just superb, we went there twice. Good activities in front of the hotel on the beach, all staff were brilliant too. My boyfriend proposed to me whilst on this holiday and it couldn't have been at a better place to celebrate, we received a free bottle of champagne and some mini desserts (we were b&b only). Definitely a hotel to come to! Only negative would be that we cam in April so it was the down-season and not much to do. Although we did hear that even in the high-season there are no markets around or anything like that to go to so that was a shame. Overall excellent hotel and we would stay here again.More

Lovely Hotel, Relaxing Honeymoon

My husband and I searched for a long time to find a suitable destination for a week long honeymoon at the end of September. We chose wisely with the Sunrise Pearl. Had a great week and would definitely choose to return. Some specific comments that might help others noted below: Positives: Very welcoming hotel. Glass of orange on check in, which was fast and efficient. The reception staff very helpful and polite. Made us feel special as they knew it was our honeymoon. Lovely room. Paid a little extra for a sea view double, worth it. Would not bother with the swim up or garden rooms. We were on the top floor in a corner room (I had asked for a high floor and quiet, which they provided). All areas of the hotel kept very clean, room serviced a couple of times a day. Clever little button system on the door to advise the maids if you want your room cleaning. Great food. The dine round option was excellent, especially the Thai restaurant. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choice, even for fussy eaters. Allocated sunbeds is a good idea. If you don't like where you end up then ask to move, they are most accommodating. Very attentive and polite staff in all areas of the hotel, could not do enough to help. The bar at the hotel entrance (looks like a big tent) is great. They do lovely cocktails, table service and reasonably priced. Hotel bar is also nice, staff are great, little canapes they served before dinner were tasty too! Beach in front of the hotel is nice. Yes, it is small and you have to pay if you want a sunbed on it, but we found it to be clean and well kept. Was quite busy even in later September. Lots of water sports for those interested (kite surfing, jet skis etc.) Large hotel, but never felt crowded, even at meal times. Negatives/Observations: The lovely day beds that you see in the photos are only for those staying in a suite. Service at the Italian was not as good as other restaurants/within the hotel. The resort is okay, not spectacular, though pretty along the bay and it has everything that you would need for a week. Spa looked nice, but didn't use it, maybe a little on the pricey side. Transfer from the airport took about 45 minutes. We arranged a private taxi rather than getting the holiday company's bus, and we were glad we did. Probably not quite a 5* by UK standards, but certainly the best package holiday we have been on. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Pearl and will certainly return one day.More

A real find!!!

I have to say this hotel really impressed. Everything very modern and exceptionally clean, staff friendly and extremely helpful. A real treat is having allocated sun loungers by the pool, which means no pressure to get up and sit on one every morning to make it yours. Probably the best hint about the hotel though is the dine around option. I am never a fan of buffet food, no matter how well they are done they are always boring and just not the same as having an individual meal cooked for you. The hotel has 5 restaurants around Protaras that you can choose from. While I don't suppose they are real gourmet options, i found these much better than eating at the hotels buffet restaurant all week (which we did twice). I never really want to go back to the same hotel more than once, but in this instance i would certainly go back, which from me is a massive endorsement!!More

Wonderful hotel!

Had a fab 1 week stay here for our Honeymoon in mid October. Had a partial sea view room which did feel set back a bit but had the sun on the balcony all morning. The room was spotless and the fittings were of a very high standard. We were half board and really enjoyed the main hotel restaurant (Waterfall) which was buffet style but loads of choice. Went to the hotel fish restaurant which was great but pricy - you got 15 euros towards your meal but most of the mains were more expensive than that. Went to the hotel linked Greek restaurant which was better value - you could chose any starter, main and dessert so just paid extra for drinks which was same as the main hotel restaurant. Protaras is very 'resorty' - didn't feel like real Cyprus but the hotel and gorgeous clear sea made it an enjoyable, relaxing holiday. They put flowers in our room and when they found out it was our honeymoon we were given a bottle of bubbly and fruit hamper. It was also my birthday so was given another bottle of bubbly! Lovely staff members, very helpful. Pools were a bit cold but the whole outside area was spotlessly clean and looked great from every angle.More
