The Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa counts a brilliant dining scene, a state-of-the-art spa and an attractive pool area among its best features.
This place has scored a plum position on one of the area’s best beaches. It means you’re only steps from the sand, and a short stroll takes you into Protaras, where you’ll find a cluster of tavernas and cafés.
The hotel is really stylish – think geometric marble pillars coupled with softly curved recesses. And there's a glass lift, so you get sea views as you zip up to your room. The pool scene’s pretty swish, too. You’ll find Balinese-style daybeds framing the water.

It's our second visit to this wonderful hotel and we've loved every minute! The staff are absolutely fantastic and cannot do enough for you! I'd like to give a few special mentions to the bar staff Angelos, Sakis , Stamatis , Mirella , Alexandra, George and Maria for making our stay extra special! I'd also like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful restaurant manager George! His dedication and professionalism is second to none! He really is a credit to the hotel! The restaurant staff Aniya, Jan, Nickolas and the lovely twins were also fabulous! The reception and porter staff are also great! The food at the hotel is amazing! The dine around option is a brilliant idea as you get plenty of choice and are not refined to the hotel every evening! The allocated sunbed option is such a great idea as it takes away the early morning rush to find a sunbed! I really cannot find a fault with this hotel and we look forward to returning next year! Another beautiful holiday
This is my second visit to the sunrise pearl and I will be returning again what a beautiful hotel that has everything I personally could want. What a beautiful sea view room waking up every morning to the stunning view of the beach and stunning sea with the room cleaned every day and fresh towels and robes and your bedding turned down every evening and a complementary chocolate. The restaurant offers such beautiful food starting with breakfast finishing with your evening meal the staff can't do enough for you even carrying your meal to your table and your options of really well cooked fine dining food the restaurant manager George is such a credit to the hotel and runs a great team of workers polite and pleasant from start to finish with the option of there other restaurants situated close by. If you visit the sunrise pearl the spa is a must the range of treatments they offer is amazing really adds to the holiday and with the strip nearby there's plenty of options of stuff to do in the evening I really recommend this hotel and can't wait to return. And the main added bonus is the sunbed allocated to you through your entire stay and poolside staff mirella is a gem a absolute delight always willing to take your drink order I couldn't ask for more thank you sunrise pearl More
Sunrise Pearl Experience. August, 2017
We spent a wonderful holiday in this hotel this summer! Almost everything was perfect and beyond our expectations - rooms, restaurants, food, pools and beach. Our room had an eccess to a small private pool, which is a perfect way to have a quite time after lunch. Room service and cleaning was good, housekeepers were all very frinedly and willing to satisfy all your needs. Reception was just excellent, special thanks to Vera. She was always very nice and friendly and willing to help. Sha has made our arrival very smooth and warm so that we almost felt at home there. Main restaurant is very well equipped, the spaced is thoughfully planned, so that everybody feels comfortable even when the restaurant is full. Amazing dinners with piano music, a choice of very good vines and fine food. Special thanks to the Restusrant Supervisor. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to notice his name as he was normally very busy (which the high-quality restaurant would always require), but he was just perfect. It is him who created that magic atmosphere and helped to make everything run as smooth as possible. Pool restaurant was very good for lunches, it is just that the portions seemed too big for us, so we ordered 1 for 2.)) But the food is very tasty and fresh, highly recommended. There is a good choice of healthy food like fish, chicken, salads and fresh juices, but you can also find the variety of pasta, sandwiches or deserts, so I think anyone could pick smth for themselves to have a good lunch. Breakfast was served in a main restaurant too and the choice was also very good. European, American or Russian - anyone can have a tasty and nutricios breakfast there. The restarant and the Hotel in general are very kids-friendly, so no problem for those who come with their families. Beach is good and clean, the water is just amazing. The only thing is that it gets a little too crowded over the weekends, but as you can always hide in the hotel it was not a big deal for us. Pool area is very comfortably separated by small and middle-size pools, so it is never crowded and you always have enough privacy, which was very important for us. Summarizing, I would highly recommend the Hotel for those who like privacy and quite vacations. If you have kids over 3 y.o., maybe it is better to go for Sunrise 4* just next to Sunrise Pearl 5*, as they have animation and more kids facilities. But if you travel to have a good rest without kids, that's your choice.More
Fantastic summer holiday
This is the second time we have stayed at the Sunrise Pearl and the second review I have posted. It is sometimes disappointing when you go back to a place where you had such a fantastic experience the first time round but not the case here. This is an amazing place, great facilities (rooms, pool area, spa), really good restaurant choices serving very good food but without doubt it is the fantastic management and staff of the hotel that really sets it apart from other places. I would recommend this hotel to you without reservation. Thank-you to everyone for making our holiday so enjoyable (especially George).More
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights from 16th – 26th July 2017 and really enjoyed our holiday. In 2015 we stayed at the Sunrise Beach next door but both agreed we preferred the Pearl. We arrived late afternoon on Sunday and were promptly greeted with a much needed refreshing juice drink in reception as we queued to check in, and one of the porters was quick to take our suitcases off our hands. When we went up to our room he showed us where everything was and explained things like all the different wall switches, how to work the air conditioning and the safe, etc. We thought the ‘Do Not Disturb’ and ‘Please Clean My Room’ switches by the door (instead of having to hang a sign outside on the handle) were a great idea. We were in sea view room 412, and as lovely as it was it was a slight disappointment as more than half of the ‘full sea view’ we had booked with Thomson wasn’t visible due to an adjoining part of the hotel blocking it. We asked reception if there were any alternative rooms we could move to or upgrades available before we unpacked our cases and they offered us one alternative (which we looked at but it was on a lower level with no sea view at all), but other than that they were completely full. A few days before we left they were kind enough to remember us and offer a free upgrade to a jacuzzi room, but by that point we were settled and didn’t really want the hassle of re-packing & unpacking our suitcases, then packing again a few days later to go home, so we politely declined! The room was of a high standard and cleaned daily, and the turn down service with chocolates in the evenings was a nice touch. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable – it was tempting not to get up some days! As we are not early risers the allocated sunbeds system (same as the Sunrise Beach) was perfect for us, as we chose our beds with one of the pool attendants when we arrived and kept the same ones throughout. Another nice surprise was the adults only pool, which was very relaxing and gave us the peaceful, chilled-out break we wanted. Unfortunately the adults only rule was ignored by some guests on a few occasions but it was nothing too terrible. The pool scene next door is a lot more lively, with things like aqua aerobics and water volleyball, so ours was much more our cup of tea. There were waitresses walking around all day every day taking drinks orders, which saved us trips back & forth to the bar, and in the afternoons they would also bring round a tray of complimentary pieces of fruit on sticks, which was lovely. One of the pool chaps also came round with cold flannels every day but it was always when we were off having lunch, so unfortunately we always missed him. We are frequent visitors to Protaras and have many favourite bars & restaurants, so we tend to eat out on the strip a lot wherever we stay but we did use our half board for lunch in Mistral Restaurant quite a few times (they allow you to swap with dinner but you have to make sure you tell them this is what you want to do when ordering). The service and food were both excellent, and I don’t think we ever waited much more than about 5 minutes for our meals to arrive. I am a vegetarian and there were a few different options on the menu I could choose from. The hotel has a great position on the strip as it has the benefit of being close to everything but also set back enough from the road to not be noisy at night. Overall we had a wonderful stay and have already booked again for a week in October for our anniversary. I would highly recommend the Pearl to anyone and suspect we will be returning visitors for many years to come.More
