The Sunrise Pearl Hotel & Spa counts a brilliant dining scene, a state-of-the-art spa and an attractive pool area among its best features.
This place has scored a plum position on one of the area’s best beaches. It means you’re only steps from the sand, and a short stroll takes you into Protaras, where you’ll find a cluster of tavernas and cafés.
The hotel is really stylish – think geometric marble pillars coupled with softly curved recesses. The pool scene’s pretty swish, too. You’ll find Balinese-style daybeds framing the water.
If you want a hotel that has everything from lovely rooms serviced twice a day to genuinely friendly staff no fighting for sun beds this is it in protaros cyprus.thanks to all the staff my wife and I stayed here in October and it was great because there was not masses of people.there were all nationalities staying here which we found interesting as different cultures do and act differently once again our thanks go out to all staff and we mean all staffMore
What a brilliant hotel. Exceeded all expectations. Wonderful friendly and super efficient staff, super clean comfortable rooms, big comfy beds, no early rising to grab a sun bed..........everything we dream of for a holiday. We booked this hotel for a special anniversary as it had such good reviews and we were certainly not disappointed. We booked a junior suite with sea view, unfortunately the view wasn't quite as good as expected so my husband asked if it would be possible to change rooms for a better view as we were staying for 2 weeks and within a couple of hours we were shown another room and told it would be available the following day, the view was perfect. The manager also arranged for a bottle of champagne to be delivered to our room as we were celebrating a special anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. Everything about the hotel makes you feel welcome and special. The staff work tirelessly and seem to do everything for you nothing is too much trouble. The hotels location is perfect, right on the lovely sandy beach and also on the main strip with lots of bars, restaurants etc close by. We chose half-board and took the option to dine at some of the hotels restaurants located on the strip on a few nights, I think we liked the Italian the most. The food in the hotel was also very good, we have certainly gone home a few pounds heavier. My husband has had the most stress free holiday ever as we were allocated a sun bed on arrival for the duration of our holiday so there was no getting up at dawn for the best spot. I would like to thank all the staff at the Pearl for making our holiday so memorable there was nothing I could fault even the weather was perfect.....We will certainly consider returning to the Pearl and have already recommended it to friends and familyMore

This is a truly great Hotel, anybody who stays there is in for a real treat. The service is unobtrusive but excellent from all the staff. We stayed there for our golden wedding and was given what we believed was special treatment from room upgrades extra meals spa treatment bottles of wine fruit etc.It is difficult to single out any members of staff but I will mention Suzana as I know she always reads Tripadviser in home Country Slovenia. The dine around system worked well with good food every where, the evening buffet was also very good.More

Superb hotel with excellent, friendly service
We visited Sunrise Pearl on the recommendation of some friends, and it was every bit as good as they'd said.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really welcome, and the service we received was absolutely outstanding throughout.
We had a family suite, which was large and comfortable, with a huge balcony and great views over the pool to the sea. The room was well equipped, including two TVs, mini-bar, fridge and Nespresso machine. Air conditioning was pretty fierce, but much appreciated.
All of the pool areas were clean and well maintained, and it was great to have sunbeds reserved for us - no worries about sleeping in and then struggling to find somewhere to sit. There was even waitress service to the sunbeds (thanks Maria!), and when that seemed just a bit too lazy we enjoyed the Liquid Pearl pool bar, very well run by Michalis. My daughter was thrilled with the non-alcoholic cocktails!
The food was excellent throughout. The undoubted highlight for us was the Waterfall restaurant, starting with Thanos' warm welcome, and having him greet us by name was a really nice touch. There was lots to choose from for breakfast and dinner, and plenty of variety over the two weeks we were there.
We also ate at the Lemongrass (Asian) and Marcellos (Italian), both of which were very good as well. The food at the Reef (American) was tasty, but the service there wasn't quite as good as the other hotel restaurants; In truth by that time I think we'd been a bit spoilt.
All in all the Sunrise Pearl is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, and we'll definitely be coming back, even if it'll take me a while to save up!More
We had a wonderful stay at the Sunrise Pearl. The welcome was warm and the room excellent - we had upgraded to the swim up pool and had a lovely view of the sea and the hotel site. The staff throughout the stay were both helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. We loved being able to reserve our sun beds and the sea was lovely & warm and crystal clear, the beach sandy. The restaurant choices were excellent - the food and the staff both to a great standard - wine & water was topped up on endless occasions - thanks to attentive staff. The only restaurant we didn't dine at was the 'Kyklos Greek' as we were only staying for a week & we'd enjoyed 'Fishbones' so much we wanted to go back there for the last evening dinner! My husband is not a 'buffet' fan but said he would be quite happy to eat there every night as the food and ambience was so good. Yes there were children staying - but as parents of 4 children ourselves (now all grown up) we found them quite entertaining and didn't experience any problems at meal times. We thought that the hotel was well placed for a stroll in the evening through the town and during the day along the beach in both directions. We also enjoyed a trip to Famagusta old town which was fascinating. We will look forward to a return stay as soon as possible to see more of Cyprus as this was our first visit and would recommend this hotel to anyoneMore
