The Sunrise Beach Hotel’s best bits include an on-the-beach setting and a handy sunbed allocation system.
Thanks to its beachfront position, you can flip-flop between the hotel’s pool and the sea in a few steps. Protaras’ main strip isn’t much further away, where you’ll find a clutch of authentic tavernas.
One of the hotel’s big draws is its dine-around programme. It means you can have dinner in a choice of restaurants in the area, which serve the likes of American, Asian, Italian and Greek cuisine.

Marcello's Italian restaurant*
You'll find the restaurant in front of the hotel where you'll come across a large terrace that you can dine on. The kitchen is open for you to see meals being freshly made. Expect authentic recipes such as pastas, risotto, pizzas being made in the wood fire oven and a fine wine list. You'll need to book a table in advance here, bookings are limited to one reservation per week. Highchairs are available.
The lagoon like pool shines crystal clear waters because of the cloudless blue sky. You'll get views of the beach and there are sunbeds with parasols on the terrace.
Othello lounge bar*
A big must while staying in the hotel is to visit this bar. It's where the night comes alive. The entertainment in the evening is live singing acts, live instrument acts, dance shows and magic.

Very nice *NEED ADVICE*
My girlfriend and I stayed here nearly 2 years ago and we had a lovely stay. Bar staff were lovely and right on a beautiful beach. And a short bus ride from Ayia Napa if youre into that! The night time entrtiantment was non existent though, unless we were looking in the wrong places! Plently of entertainment on Protsras' strip though. Our only concern with our stay was that the beach was FULL with young, loud Cypriots. When I went in 2010 I don't remember this, im wondering if there was some sort of national/public holiday as I remember someone telling me there was. We went around the 15th of June. We are definitely returning this year but not during this public holiday as it stopped my girlfriend and I going to the absolutely beautiful beach. Some feed back would be much appreciated! Many thanks. More
Was very lucky to get a late break in Cyprus and especially at this hotel. We had been before a couple of years ago, The second stay didn't disappoint either. Very friendly staff. Excellent services and the rooms were clean and comfortable Food was of a very good quality as well. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for couples or even families and friendsMore

Beautiful, relaxend, costly
We stayed for 10 days, searching relaxing holidays. Yes, the Protaras Beach is crowded and hotels are placed in line. Nevertheless we found a relaxing place in the hotel area and the reserved sunbeds¶sol make the whole stay even more relaxing. No mather at what time You'll arrive, your sunbeds are available. Jogging along the beach in the morning is nice and there is no alternative in the back country. We hired the worst moutainbikes I've ever seen at the main road outside the hotel ... watch out! With just 10 minutes of walk You can find much better quality for the same price! The second time we did a better choice and rented a best-serviced Tandem which was a great pleasure to ride. The hotel is very nice but not quiet. I am very sensitive to noise when I sleep and we either heared the kitchen noise, or the Karaoke-Bar from the neighbour hotel. Earplugs were my choice although we could change room. Special thanks to the always-friendly employees who do their best to get along with every wish. We mainly visited the Hotel-Restaurant for dinner which offers delicious food of high quality check out the chocolate cake ("death by chocolate" but worth trying ...) Again the staff is extremly well trained and helpfull. Only one-time we tried the chinese restaurant outside the hotel (you will get a "dinner-voucher" if You eat there instead of the hotel restaurant). It was good&tasy but we did not like the complicated way of reading the menu (some dishes are included, some need extra payment, You cannot take salad instead of soup, ...) The guests are mainly Brits and Russ (the Russians are those who put their Ipads on the table, to paralyze their kids and avoid communication during dinner) Yes, my feedback is positiv, although I think that You can find similar quality at less crowded places in Cyprus for a better price. Take the chance to go outside the hotel, to check the back country and the local restaurants. More

My family stayed at the hotel in August, 2014. It is a wonderful place with friendly staff. There are clean rooms, delicious food, and a comfortable territory. We enjoyed pure and pleasant water of the sea. The beach is well organised. My wife, our four-year-old child, and i spent here our summer holiday. We love everything and are dreaming of coming back this year.More

Lovely stay in Protaras
We liked our stay at Sunrise Beach very much, it is right on the beautiful Fig Tree Bay beach, and in the centre of Protaras - the best of both worlds, really. One tip, however: if you are able to, book one of the panoramic sea view rooms. We were upgraded to one from a standard side sea view room (a delightful gesture from the hotel which we much appreciated), and the difference was considerable; it made what was a perfectly ok stay a really good experience.More
