The Sunrise Beach Hotel’s best bits include an on-the-beach setting and a handy sunbed allocation system.
Thanks to its beachfront position, you can flip-flop between the hotel’s pool and the sea in a few steps. Protaras’ main strip isn’t much further away, where you’ll find a clutch of authentic tavernas.
One of the hotel’s big draws is its dine-around programme. It means you can have dinner in a choice of restaurants in the area, which serve the likes of American, Asian, Italian and Greek cuisine.
You'll find the restaurant in front of the hotel where you'll come across a large terrace that you can dine on. The kitchen is open for you to see meals being freshly made. Expect authentic recipes such as pastas, risotto, pizzas being made in the wood fire oven and a fine wine list. You'll need to book a table in advance here, bookings are limited to one reservation per week. Highchairs are available.
These bright, modern twin rooms provide you with plenty of space and natural light. They come with a balcony for that bit of fresh air. And they have an extra bed if you need space for 3 people. Plus you'll also find air-conditioning to keep your room cool.
We had an amazing time at this property.
Grounds great and sunbed allocation a must!
Breakfast excellent and service in the Hotel in General perfect. Great entertainment team especially James who always was very pleasant and helpful as was Hilla.
The management are not visible enough for my liking and the cocktail party they hold on a tuesday is on for 30mins (blink and youll miss it)
I also think they should make more effort and respond to Trip Advisor reviews even a thank you for positives wouldnt go a miss!
Special mention to Lenka and Sarlota in the bar - truly outstanding!
Overall enjoyable and would return.More

This was our first trip to Cyprus and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. There was no worry about finding a sunbed as we were allocated one on our first day and that was ours to use for the duration of our stay. Rooms were lovely and clean and modern. There was so much choice for breakfast that you could always find something you liked.More
Not a bad stay but if you want relaxation then try elsewhere!!
We stayed here for a week in April for my husband's 30th birthday, booked through Thomson as a last minute deal. Amazing price for a weeks stay but I wouldn't class this as a 5* Platinum! I've stayed in one in Crete and that was 5* and more! Arrival was a free for all, everyone pushing to get checked in first. Although everyone was offered a complimentary drink which was a nice touch. We went to our room which had a nice sea view to the left. To the right though was the main road which at night had the loudest karaoke bar I've ever heard and it carried on until 12am-1am... Downstairs in the hotel was as noisy with the entertainment so definitely no relaxing holiday in sight. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean and we had to get the cleaners back in... Dirty marks all on the toilet seat and rim. We didn't want to eat at the hotel so I can't comment on this. The pool area was nice but always overrun with lots of screaming kids. On checkout we were given "our bill" even though we had never eaten or drank in the hotel!! Someone decided to write a room number that looked like ours and a squiggled signature. Bit too easy to make anything up really, this should be changed to stop these mistakes happening. Not particularly impressed with this hotel at all.
The area was nice however, the little church on the hill was a fantastic visit. Try the small shops at the far end of the main road as the items are better and there's one particularly lovely shop owner there. Also rent a car and explore the island as Agia Napa has some very nice shops, Nissi Beach is an absolute stunner and a must visit, Larnaca is a nice day out and a drive through the mountains and villages is more traditional and very interesting too.More
